Patriotic Front (PF) Media and Publicity Director Chanda Mfula has resigned from the ruling party with immediate effect.

Mr. Mfula has told QFM News in a statement that he has communicated to the appointing authority on his decision to resign with immediate effect.

Mr. Mfula says during the two years that he has worked in the political arena; he has acquired immense knowledge and experience worthy of a rich thesis in political science.

He says he has also acquired new friends and, luckily, kept all his old friends.

He has since thanked the people of Zambia for the time he has worked with them during his tenure.

Chanda Mfula worked closely with sacked Justice Minister and Secretary General Wynter Kabimba.

    • Up to now I don’t understand why people responded to the president’s action that way.
I still feel there must have been a better way of dealing with Winter’s mis-deeds especially that he was a senior member of the party.
      Are all the celebrations genuine?

  1. God is leading. Ths battle is getting interesting. Let see how will survive and is the Boat going to Float for TOO LONG ??? Lets go !!

    • How do people some stup1d sh1t like that: “God is leading.” Really????
what a croak of rubb1sh! God is leading this so messed up country? Give me a freaking break!

    • @Anderson, which God do you refer to my man? the God is israel or what? Pantu the God of Israel musungu, is that your God too?

    • Since when has God been interested in politics and rubbish…such gibberish is the reason we are not moving forward.
      WAKE UP!!

  2. I have a feeling it will start with small fish like Mfula and then before the next “erections” be it 2016 or before, the implosion of the PF will be in full gear it will make FTJ’s 3rd term misadventure look like a picnic. Too bad because too many changes of govts in quick succession are not good for any country! Its a sign of instability and knocks down both local and foreign investments! But its difficult situation when the deaf lead the blind!

  3. because he heard that GBM is on his way to come back thats why he is running away, go to UPND koswe! you wanted to invade the party m******mwe uko.

  4. I salute you as a man of integrity not those clinging on to something they dont only understand but dont even like but for the money……I remember people blaming HH not to have walked out opf the pact just so that he could be VP. Whats the point of being VP to someone you cant even understand. Its like going to bed with someone you dont like
    All the best Chanda

  5. Those who sufred for PF became fools and those who didnt became wise God was watching you. Hon lungu bring back lubinda to the table.

  6. Upnd supporters, stop dreaming even if 10 resign today believe u,upnd will never win general election in 2016,imagine if u cant win inplaces like western province were else are u going to solicit votes?

  7. It is best to step down before they come after you respect for you will be maintained when you go in a good way. Nice move.

  8. Some things never change. Some of us who were old enough in the UNIP days remember how anyone who fell out of favour with KK was demonised and humiliated. I recall how Nkumbula, Kapwepwe and Chiluwe etc. were humiliated by UNIP vigilantes simply for eying the presidency whilst KK watched. In the same vein Sata for God’s sake how could he stripe Kabimba despite all the sacrifices he made for PF for over a decade, sticking closely to him through thick and thin of three senior positions all at a go! This is too cruel and harsh. As a father you don’t kill a family person like that. I thought Sata was a forgiving man now I have my misgivings. For those who are celebrating, remember chaona mzako chapita mawa chili pa iwe. Truly a leopard never changes its spots. UNIP political days are back .

    • WK was fired for leaking classified information to his Cartel!
Secondly, he was getting rabied and mad!
Whom the gods want to destroy, they first make mad!

    • @joel, this is exactly the problem we have in Zambia: Just because you know whatever “sacrifices” Kabimba allegedly made “for over a decade for PF doesn’t mean he is the only one who “sacrificed” and therefore does not deserved or must never be disciplined! What about the others that similarly sacrificed that you are NOT aware of and do not even hold and have never asked for any appointments or positions in either the PF or the PF government? You don’t think they deserve appointments too? People should not go into politics or positions of leadership just so they may be rewarded.

  9. jOEL I agree with you on this one. It is all thugs as usual celebrating. Chaps without brains but big bodies like GBM are celebrating. Who can GBM think he can rule in this country or Kashimba Chimbwili that arrogant chap.

  10. The beginning of the end for PF. It is a self destructive party. Kabimba will now continue with his new party to be supported by the post newspaper hence starting of divisions in PF. The opposition should take advantage of this situation

  11. I don ‘t think you travel, China, believe you me,who can vote for Winter,he was making a hole in the boat…..his going is like sealing a hole……His party is finished before it even starts…….May be he should work with H H like William Banda.

  12. Where is Mushota, ha ha. Well PF has lost some support whether they like it or not. To Quote Chikwanda the whole PF has injured itself. For the record I don’t like Kabimba and I defibately don’t think he is presidential material. But at this time before the by elections. The infighting and tribal connotations will not do them any good

  13. This is the beginning of the inevitable TSUNAMI in PF. Things fall apart as Kabimba, Guy Scott, Masebo, Namulambe, Nkomeshya, Mmembe, Mutembo Nchito, Inonge Wina, Rajah Mathani, Daniel Munkombwe, Bishop Mambo, Monde etc scan the morning horizons to search as from which direction of the Zambian landscape the Sun will rise.

The entire Boat (Bwato) ferrying the LIARS’s regime is destined for doom in the stormy weather of their own creation.
