  1. This is true because he will first start by filling his pockets with money, before attending to pipo’s needs. The reason why he or she is poor is because of his or her personality.Usually very poor persons with an amount of education have a very big problem.Chiluba was one of such leaders.See how rich Mulenga sata has become within the three years of his father.Sata gave himself a retirement house before retiring.

    • True look at RB as president after suffering so much at his farm, and HH at the helm of Privatisation , the FReemason anti-christ looted everything including peoples pensions which were channeled to his accounts.

    • Spot on, we need young leadership with their own money. The spirit of desperation and selfishness should be killed in our society. That is why i would prefer Guy Scott to continue up to 2016, then we can try HH.

    • Those were my after thoughts in the salinity of time! certainly not even him, was born with a private jet before his dynasty unfolded before the turn of time to sojourn from his humble beginning which later was diluted with his new found life.

    • @Nick Dimms
This is just a quote from his previously produced statements. One does not need to be alive in order to be quoted.

    • Haha haha malala that’s nice challenge my friend.i have been thinking about that for sometime.I have enough education but iam still working at becoming financially independent.I have enough to feed my family but need to grow more wealth .my children are still young iam only 38yrs ,so I still have a chance.I maybe a leader in a church not necessarily I as president, unless need be.

  2. These are lies. The mind set of a person is what is important. Riches are never enough. Even the so called rich steal. You have confessed that you were called a second class citizen in your interview. Would it have been fair if you were told that you cannot ascend to power because you are a second class citizen? Your answer is absolutely no.
You gave the answer that you did not want your mind to think that you are a second class citizen. So the mind set is very important.

What type of a christian is this man who preaches like this? May your soul rest in peace with your riches after that plane crush.

  3. and you think a person who think like myles and his family can suvive a plane crush?good riddance and may his soul burn in hell forever.

  4. The President of Uruguay is poor and has not been seen to amass wealth for himself after ascending to power. Whatever he gets he gives the poor… #SubjectiveAnaysis

  5. The question is how did the rich became rich? sata has left projects which a person who has never worked in govt cant handle

    • Stop lying peter .You think every Zambian is dull .Sata has left 4.7billion $ loan with domestic debts more 130 billion Kwacha. Were did he spend this colossal some of money? The answer is on 1/2 on roads and 1/2 on building his children real estates, his retirement house at state lodge and in chilanga, and the rest in off shore Bank accounts in turkey and Hong Kong. This data we have it and will show the Zambians what this man was. Each project he did he got some kickbacks.MeZaf flats for example.

  6. This is not true.I am one of them who has risen from the poorest to a middle class Zambian.
However with Zambias scenario where the Ministers and MPs Sata mentored and taught he saw the uselessness in them and told the nation that he had the most useless MPs and Ministers in the world. Now that he had died then others wants to pretend to be useful.
I voted for PF in 2011 but come January i will vote for HH.
Reasons he is mature and successful businessman. It can only take a strong strategist to survival in a hostile environment especially with the brutality of PF.HH has been able to sustain his business despite being in opposition, thus, his strategies will make this country move forward from this economical sabotage

    • Yess you can vote for HH but not me, i would rather vote for EDGAR LUNGU than the so-called HH.And i thank God am not the only one opposing HH.

  7. Cecilia, just put on your handset, click play on the you tube and you will listen to the story of the foolish rich man like Myles.

These are the people Michael Chilufya Sata MHSRP would call corn men. After amassing wealth through church by selling the word of God which Jesus never sold, the chap thinks only rich people have a clean mind. Stupid preacher.

  8. i may seem to be too harsh at pipo suporting edigar lungu.these pipo ar mentally unwell or ill informed about the thieving record of edigar.he has failed to run his own law firm and ended stealing clients money.wat about a nation.besides he is unwell.zambians wake up

  9. These are lies, was sata rich? was obama rich? was mandela rich? was mbeki rich? was mujica(uruguay president) rich?
Infact most of the times leaders come from poor families world over.

    • Akamuntu take your madness some were else.If you have any morals at all you should accept that a person who has not passed through the stages of life in maslow highrack of needs remain Malajusted .That’s why most civil servants drink there pension when they retire.Give Lungu power you will see how fast he will fill his pockets after all he has that record.

    • I beg to differ with you.one cant manage politics without money, how are you going to mobilise the party and campaigns too.never be cheated

  10. This is typical evangelical charismatic nonsense.

People ask yourself only this. Jesus Christ, how rich was he? Exactly.

In fact Munroe speaks of wealth being the most important aspect of a leader, however that is an anti-Christ message because Christ said very clearly, it would be impossible for a Rich Man to enter heaven. No wonder he thinks heaven is here on earth and that he can connect to it!

He does a double gobbledygook, and says a leader is to empower people rather than be served. That is Christ like, we are to serve one another. He who is last among us is first.

These evangelical pastors eat and poo through their mouths. Corruption, white collar crime, bankers taking the world down, was that by poor people?

VOTE EDGAR LUNGU. Do not be indoctrinated by…

    • MY FRIEND YOU HAVE SAID IT ALL.ONLY BLIND PEOPLE WOULD VOTE FOR HH.MYSELF AND MY ENTIRE FAMILY WE WILL VOTE FOR EDGAR LUNGU.

  11. For those who might be against HH, it just proves how low people would sink on tribal lines, but remember that some of us may be Bembas but we never benefited from Sata’s appointments which where biased als tribal.I find HH to be an outstanding candidate this far.Don’t say Bembas will suffer say those who benefited based on tribal lines will suffer because their ascendancy was not deserved. So me and my family are for HH. Sata fired the nurses and people died whether BEmba or not ,if only tribe could save us may be I would not vote for HH but this time around am for HH.sorry my Bemba colleagues ,its one zambia one nation!!!!

  12. imagine lozi when mazoka died sakwiba a cousin to Tongas was the right person to suceed what hapened? sata a bemba has died lungu a tribe cousin is the right peson. Bembas have accepted. The time to teach Tongas to accept other tribes is now. Once HH is there it will be state house is for Tongas

    • paul that’s only an assumption .The truth is that Edgar Lungu may actually Loose at the convention.Thats why is scared to go for convetion. If your edgar loses would he blame a Bemba.thats not right because all provinces will have equal number of voters, who may not be necessarily Bembas .This is what a happened to saki,He lost HH from votes counted form nine provinces were does Tonga come in .That’s how democracy is its about numbers Bwana.

    • #Sido Mark, when Mazoka died, what came out was that ONLY a Tonga should succeed him, people like Mandyakuku were campaigning on those lines for HH. it also came out that in UPND constitution, there is clause which say how the succession of presidents in UPND should be according to the tribes. so according to that clause, the party presidency was still under Tongas ( still time for Tongas). Personally, I dont care which tribe the president is from, let the best man win and not on tribe lines. if it happens that all the capable people to rule, are from one tribe, let it be. I come from same village as chiluba, ask me what he did, only built a toilet. so what did it benefit me that he was a tribemate, nothing. Iam sure even Chitulika village is still the same since independence?

  13. As for me and my family we aha cast our ballot on hh,reasons is revolving of political parties enlightens the citizens.because of pf Zambians mentality has changed because we were cheated, and despite that mcs did remarkable work on roads though he left us bankrupt.i believe hh will bring some strong business policies which will attract foreign and local investment.as an easterner why should we assume the presidency after the death ,RB and again Ba Lungu, let’s avoid it and get it on a clean plate.please my people lets avoid parallel history.

  14. Disagree with this guy whoever is he….he is painting everyone with the same brush. If you are going to uploading YouTube videos of some preachers then why don’t you post vids of departed pro African black leaders?

  15. I haven’t listened to what Miles Munroe said but he is quite true. I would modify it a little as it sounds quite unfair that it is only a rich man who can become a good leader. Mine says “Don’t allow a person who is not economically independent to rise to leadership because the result will be just plunder to make himself rich”. Most of our problems in Africa are a result of poor people who have no success profile in anything before becoming presidents and quickly become overwhelmed by how many ways they can manipulate the system to make money for themselves. We don’t have a people driven constitution today because the people we put as leaders see it as a threat to their rule and their new found wealth. In Bweengwa where some of us come from, you can’t be heard at an indaba if you don’t…

  16. In Bweengwa where some of us come from, you can’t be heard at an indaba if you don’t have a cow. What development advice can you give if you can’t even raise a single cow? We need a leader that can sustain themselves economically even without politics in order to be able to provide good governance and oversee a clean and un-corrupt government. This is time for Zambians to analyse our presidential candidates a dig into their background to see what they have achieved before. The presidency is too big a job to give to a person who has just come out of poverty recently because of an appointment into a lucrative position by a relative or friend.

  17. Utter nonsense!Which rich President ever used his personal resources to run a country?Mwanawasa was thus far the richest President elected.Did he use his personal fortune to run Zambia? The answer is not a ngwee!!Dont mislead Zambian with such crap.Bring on board real political issues not this cheap rethoric.Vote for good quality leadership irrespective of tribe or wealth.GOD BLESS ZAMBIA.

  18. Leadership cannot be stereotyped into wealth or poverty, good leadership is in the heart of the leader. Corruption afflicts both rich and poor. Typical of conceited men, this Myles Monroe, his statement if true qualifies for educated rubbish! Oops sorry he is deceased, MHSRIP.

  19. The period before elections will be utilized by those whose positions are threatened to properly line their pockets, in other words, they will steal so that they go and survive out of government. The office of the accountant general should make sure there is totally no pilferage or unaccounted spending by the ministers and their cohorts. They shall steal in the name of campaigning just like that fat MMD chap did.

  20. Tommy Sankara was not rich but look what he did for his country ….who was this man a preacher/ business man/ motivational speaker/ televangelist. ..this is why we are as people will never move forward if we still have these religious business men influencing us.
wake up and study about self!

  21. Stop drinking the haterade!
We are too bitter as a people, why is that?
I see nothing wrong with Myles’ observation that a poor man is a dangerous man. Look at the people who inherit money from no where — does that money last long?
No, it is soon gone before you know it. They start flying to joburg, cause Manda Hill is too small, they get new friends and party everyday. How long will the money last?
But a person who has worked for his wealth, one who knows the value of money will make an excellent leader. He will invest the money and make more money; Matthew 25:14-30.

    #OneZambia

  22. Zambians please my brothers and my sisters let us be serious i said it before to run a country is not like running a katemba . You may have a good reason to support Mr Lungu but let us look also his back ground does he has all to be the president of this country with this econmic hardship we have in our country. What plans does he has to pay back millions of kwachas we borrowed? For me i will put my card on HH because the man sounds to be mature among the candidates we have so far.
Bembas they say naifika mala yambushi MEANING let us not put ourselvels into problems we are already.
We have someone who can revamp our economy let us support him.
Edgar he wants to be hand picked why this is democracy let him compete. We want proper leaders in PF not hand picked.

  23. Who said a poor person cannot have leadership qualities. How did the rich now get their wealth from poverty I believe? Leadership is not all about being poor. Poverty has a degree, which one, lower, higher or highest. God chose David with only a sling and stone instead of those that had wealth and great weaponry. Stop misdirecting people.

  24. Majority Zambians are very poor. It is an insult to the poor that they can not rule. In this forthcoming by-elections, let the rich vote, the poor will stay at home.

  25. Preacher watch out your comment is not as your leader Christ was. He was poor but became the greatest world leader. Even Lincoln rich people dont do best in leadership of a country but in cooperate world where they have autonomy. I disagree with your materialistic gospel in the name of Jesus who associated with the poor.

  26. I thought manroe was wise. Solomon was poor but God gave him the wealth after asking for wisdom to lead, what leads is wisdom not wealth…manroe you where just like these preachers so intoxicated with wealth that you even forgot God is much bigger than what you could imagine. Rest in peace as we vote for lungu….pf nafuti.

  27. What about Barrack Obama when there way Billionaires in the USA ,what about David son of Jesse who was called from the Bush tendering sheep only to be anointed by Samuel the Prophet of God when there way rich people in the city……….

  28. Average understanding of Zambians is below par. How do you talk of so called unprecedented development without taking into account unprecedented borrowing! How much is the spend on these infrastructure developments against the USD4.7billion they have accrued in 3 yrs of their being in power? UNIP ran this country for 27 years and built a lot of things and at the time they were leaving power, the debt was USD7billion. Compare this to PF’s USD4.7billion in only 3 yrs. Ati “unprecedented development! Did I hear you right? Please give me a break.

  29. We might not be born equal because others are born in mansions but the equation is normalized at death. We die equal and as a result would not subscribe to the fact that only rich people should ascend to power!

  30. I doubt if Dr Munroe ever said such a thing. It is however a very fooulish statement. Leadership is not made or bought by money. If only the wealthy can rule the following could never have led:
    1 Jesus
    2 Richard Nixon
    3 Nelson Mandela
    4 Kenneth Kaunda
    5 Mahatma Gandhi
    6 Joseph Stalin
    7 Yes Even Barrack Obama

  31. Self belief is what propels any human to self success which propels us to be an achievers. Believe you me! I every great Man emancipated and alighted from humble beginnings. No one man, under the sun was born with greatness alas riches save through toil and hard work. Success geminates from inner self believe, no more no less!! Anything told beyond this, is perversion to the true humanly blueprint. We were all born not be controlled but Lead as purposed by God’s creation, destined only glorify his Greatness and awesomeness!
