FORMER President Frederick Chiluba left for South Africa yesterday for a two-week scheduled medical review.

The former President, who left aboard a South African Airways plane, was accompanied by his wife Regina, security staff and his spokesperson Emmanuel Mwamba.

Confirming Dr Chiluba’s trip to South Africa at the Lusaka International Airport yesterday, Mr Mwamba said doctors had given the former President a period of one month after which he should undergo another review.

“The former President is going for a scheduled medical review to South Africa and he will be there for two weeks. Dr Chiluba last underwent a medical review in December last year,” Mr Mwamba said.

  1. l-) What kind of review is it that can’t be handled by our doctors at UTH? Just a waste of poor people’s tax money after having stolen so much from them…..yaba! 😮

  2. The rate of these trips to South Africa will be increasing as we approach 2011. Expect kafupi to be fainting from time to time. In fact the time he’s going to hear that RB has lost, he is going to collapse. Because, the jail which is seemingly looking remote today, will just be by his Kabulonga veranda. Kafupi akalanya fye ayasekemuka continuously by that time. His ‘cousin’ will not be there to protect him as he will also be facing similar criminal offences. 2011.

  3. “Hope is the last thing that dies in man; and though it be exceedingly deceitful, yet it is of this good use to us, that while we are traveling through life it conducts us in an easier and more pleasant way to our journey’s end.”
The end is surely nigh, what a web of lies and deciet we weave for ourselves

  4. is he not the same chap who was saying the South Africa was a devilish country because it allowed same gender marriages? why cant he stay in his christian country and have his holy review there.

  5. # 7 isi miyaki, i think we should organise thugs to sort out this chap. Afterall he has condemned South Africa as having a devilish constitution so the devils must visit him .

  6. I thought FTJ said SA laws are that of the DEVIL. Homos are treating himbut he says they are evil people:-?:-?

  10. they say never insult crocodiles before you cross the river, seems kafupi doesnt know that lifes lesson….bazakasilizisa ma SA guy doctors. niko pusa!!

  11. Sata has put heat on the shorty mbunyane.so now he has started with his review tactics. The court case is coming you better be ready. The Bishop denied he knew of any marriage of Sata and his sister so you need to prepare for a defamation case coming your way. You are a finished midget masquerading as a preacher. if your morals were so high why do you come to JHB where we have a devil constitution. Stay in Zambia’ UTH afterall it is a christian nation anointed by you and your adulturous, thieving wife

  12. No ways, this lazo has just gone for his holidays after a ‘mission accomplished’ task given to him by RB. Why in hell would he go for 2 weeks???? What medical review takes that long? Are doctors in SA so slow that they take 2 weeks to look at that short thing, in-fact he is so short you would only take 2 minutes to review his a.ss….
This is not fair to our highly taxed money.

  13. :-w:-w[-([-( i think this guy is not only short but too short in memory recollection .barely few weeks ago we learnt how ungrateful he can be accusing the south africans of having a devilish constituition .where is he going now ??? thank god he does not represent zambia anymore .you wonder what pressures for change can do…making people like him or sata go into high office .lets hope it will not never happen again .[-x[-x[-x[-x

  14. ako ka lazalo ka sakaala if you guys like #7 and #8 can help us sort that thug for us we would appreciate that. can you imagine the ***** can even have the strength to hold a press briefing just to tell us trash it hurts us. if i had the means i would physically manhandle thug 30cm tall thing.he has heard of courts again he wants to start faking us being suick who would even symphathise with because even Emmanauel Mwamaba his press aid aid knows in his God given Heart that he is hunging arround with a devil…..

  15. This is sickening. Just because he has a court case he brought upon himself by slandering Sata, all of a sudden he starts faigning sickness once again. This man knows no levels of g.u.t.l.e.s.s.n.e.s.s. I just hope some gay doctor in South Africa puts him out of his misery and bigotry once and for all, give him peace for once in his life.

  16. This Kama Guy has started felling the heat, the heart problem has resurfaced, now he is going Back to the very country he say’s has the devils constitution. I wish they WIRE HIM THROUGH THE a######
    by some HOMO

  17. What is a born again christian doing in a devil country? being attended to by Homos and lesbians? who knows which clinic he has gone to so that we tell the doctors to finish him off, afterall they are devils thats what they do best.

  18. # 21 FTJ goes to Net care Garden city clinic, its in the west rand area. maybe we should organise toyi toying South africans to go and toyi toyi at the clinic for calling them devils

  19. How I would love Titus to be treated by a very good cardiologist like Dr. Conrad Murray. With that tiny body of his, not so much propofol would be required to put him to rest. 🙂

  20. This man cant even fly Zambezi airlines? what sort of patriotism is this? lets support our own. Thats why i miss the buy zambia, build zambia campaign by KK those days. KK believed in Zambia, he went to UTH for reviews, he flew Zambia Airways, and he went to Mfuwe for holidays.

  21. Look at history. Chiluba was Chairman General for ZCTU for a long time. During that time all of us in Mines respected him and looked upto him to sort out super KK. He is dribbler. Here see, he takes to the skies after denting the Cobra, yaba! He is gone back to the drawing board. In the meantime back home more revelations that SATA served time as a convict for Theft and that the guards at Mukobeko warned the inmates to be careful with Sata, mmmmmmmmmmmH

  22. Iye imwe bakafupi!! Ala ngatamwaile, lwenu bakaya michita akantu! Anyway, malibu yakuilombela. Ekutemwa ukute ndeka abanobe. ukabwele bwangu because tha’ts my money you’re using.

  23. I believe that as taxpayers, Zambians should not be allowing politicians to be seeking treatment abroad. Mr Chiluba was president of Zambia, how does he expect ordinary Joe to go to UTH if it is not good enough for him? Maybe by banning health tourism by politicians, we will force them to face local realities. They have the power to do something about healthcare but choose not to because they know that even if the quality of care is poor, they will not be expected to receive it.

  24. Just the other day he was busy castigating the South African laws, thanks to the SA Commissioner who reminded him that it was the same south africa which work on his frail heart so could even stand today and say shit about it. Had it not been for that this come could have been dancing with the little devil in hell.

  25. You c # 31 i tod you not vote for Ruphia this wat is happing now. Any # 25 make sure you check for my house in misisi if its not flooded.

  26. # 31 Ni Ziiiii mudala, we just got this info that ka leisa ku South late.so we missed him pa airport, other wise the boys here are raedy ama legeni yali good to fire. We will try on his way back

  27. # 31 seems to have a good idea .Guys in south africa ati shani ukuponona aka mu Guys if it is not possible pa airport hide panse ya hospital just pretend to be blind.:d

  28. Regarding the tax payer money that is being used for Chiluba to fly to SA, I wonder if Sata has paid back the money that was used to pay for his treatment when the govt sent him to SA.

  29. This should really stop because how else will the health sector emprove pa zed when them GRZ officials and their cronies sick madical attention out side the country. Honestly how:o???

  30. Ala kwena mwalikapata aka kachi##$la, I can’t blame you pantu kali ba confused too much. Infact, he’s so confused that he ends up confusing even those around him, just ask Xavier, Aaron and Faustin!! Elo, in his simple but warped mind which was exposed during the press conference, he thinks the sun rises and set on his kama tiny a##. So, you guys in SA, please do the needful….mukalilefye chi Regina

  31. Chiluba has really fixed you PF people, so much hate for Kafupi. I see even after so many weeks the wound is still raw. They say the truth hurts I didnt know it could hurt so bad that reasonable God fearing men would resort to malegeni kuma airport. The political engineer has done it again. Lets hope you return so that you open more cans of worms for PF Sata, and hopefully Sata will open some on you. whichever way win win situation for Zambians. Evil Sata is exposed and Little Kafupi is also exposed. Sit back PF Sata’s children and enjoy the show, dont rush with malegeni to the airport, you will only leave to regret ever listening to the advise of a blogger sitting back home in comfort. Happy fridays people, drink wisely.

Ka’doyo – This what I have been thinking too. The MOH has a lot of money can do wonders to our hospitals all they need is to ask that chap Kapoko how he managed to build BEST LODGE with MOH money. May be they dont see this money.

  33. #1 VIRGINIA, Your comment has truly summed up how our country has gone to the dogs. Quite honestly 46 years after independence are the powers that be telling us that none of our hospitals is good enough to carry out a medical check-up on Chiluba? If that is so, let the government send every ailing Zambian abroad for medical treatment because everyone’s life is precious.

  34. Ok # 40 if you are not comfortable with the malegeni method, you can alternatively ukuswa ubwembya(whip his a.s.s til he cries for regina).:)>-

  35. #42 Nom de Plume Dot Com – That phrase GONE TO THE DOGS has a put a Catholic Priest in Ndola in trouble with GRZ/MMD/Mwansa Mbulakulima. He only said the fight against corruption has gone——All MMD said he had insulted their RB,

  36. #45 DEJA VU, ‘Gone to the dogs’ is a well known English expression and it applies to, for example, when those in the system have failed to deliver, it is not for MMD to dictate its use.

  37. What a shame that a DOG can be airlifted to attend Medical reviews whose facilities Jacob Zuma is proud to have. Why can’t this fake government put up hospitals in all the towns in the Country to match the one’s in South, so that no Dog’s continue going to South Africa anymore
