  1. …and I’m sure during the interviews for the same position after being asked why she wanted to work for the hospice she probably told the interviewers she had a heart for the disease afflicted members of society so she wanted to contribute to the patients well-being.

  2. Such foolish accountants like her are puting our profession in disrepute.I wonder if she ws even a member of ZICA?

  3. ZICA continues to be a toothless Bull dog.So many accounting issues need to be resolved in zed.Over 50% of people practising as accountants in zed are not members of ZICA.In many multinationals, the payroll is handled by 2 accountants. One for the zambians, and the other for the expatriates and who is usually an expatriate. Its high time young accountants took up the management of ZICA.The old guards seem to have run out of ideas.

  4. And to make matters worse, the current CEO of ZICA is not a qualified accountant. It maybe wise to come up with a rival zambian accounting body.

  5. # What do you expect Mulendema to do? he is busy making sure his firm gets alot of contracts by virtue of him being ZICA president. I really agree with you its time the young ones took charge, just like in running the country as well. Whats surprises me is people have become so heartless, thought even in theft their should be some ethical considerations. The hospice needs that money to take care of terminally sick people. Honestly have we reached such levels

  6. What do you want ZICA to do? We are guided by our professional ethics. The Accountant magazine and other publications are another way by ZICA to show that they care. Member or not,its all about what measures are there at workplaces to curtail the th

  7. Zica shud regulate the accountancy proffesion pa zed, by ensurin that al registered business houses employ zica registered members en then come wit salary scales 4 each grade of accountants i.e techincian, licientee, associate, fellow etc so as t deter situations wer some of these zica chaps a poorly paid, bcoz they wil dip in the company coffers.
