  1. Our beloved late President FTJ was truly Congolese! First President J. Kabila and Governor M. Katumbi and now Mbilia Bel. RIP King Fred!!!

  2. (#1)-Alick Nguvulu’s comment is prone to open-up a can of rotten worms. FTJ’s funeral was also attended by Ben Mkapa former President of Tanzania. If Nguvulu’s is calculated to paint Chiluba as a Congolese, then his assertion is not complete. In Zambia we have a well-known foreigner (Sata) who frustrated our independence struggle by spying for the Colonial British emperialst Govt. Sata is trully Tanzania who migrated to Northern Rhodesia to settle at Mpika Boma as a young boy. Grow up Ba Nguvulu. Mbilia Bel is a well known singer who has respect for this country. Therefore her wish to pay her respect to FTJ’s funeral is typical of our African culture in spite of our station in life. We thank Mbilia for calling on to console the FTJ Family. We thank her and May God bless Mbilia Bel.

  3. This woman still exist? I thought she died of Aids. Good to see her and she still looks hot

  4. FTJs origins went to court and the matter was settled so lets not say much the man has gone to be with his maker let him rest..Sata has already told you not to weep for him but for yourselves because he is not the one who goes hungry…

  5. @1, it is nothing to do with the nationality of mbilia bel but her humanity, good neighbourliness and recognition for the good works of fjt. she has a human heart unlike other people. you should be ashmed that a foreigner is more sympathetic to a zambian than you are.

  6. #1&2 very childish, who cares where somebody comes from,as long you got love for my country you are straight.

  7. Ba LT, what is “103:0 hours”, are we on Mars?!

Anyway, nice to see Belia Bel, still listens to her music. Also good to see she has morals to take time from her busy schedule to go and mourn with Chiluba’s widow and orphans.

  8. all poeple were made in the image of GOD and if chiluba kaunda mwanawasa bwezani sata akainde or indeed any one progressing up to president can rule well its okay and if he does not rule well he goes out with no imunity and casses. its time and short time for sata because God knows every one such that he allows him on aa position at the right time. sata for plot one then youger ones to follow. because the youger (hh)have failed to anderstand on how to remove the rulling so Prayers and Fasting will work effectiveily and he who doughts will see with eyes then believe.

  9. Forget about the borders, it is good to see African women coming together like this to comfort each other in times of trouble. Your real friends will be there in your sorrows but acquaintances will desert you.

  10. Forget about the borders, it is good to see African women coming together like this to comfort each other in times of trouble. Your real friends will be there in your sorrows but acquaintances will desert you.

  15. Mbilia Bell, the face is nice but the hands my goodness! She can squeeze the life out of my d1ck. uh uh.But thanks for the encouragement, you should put in a good word for the children to.

  16. Ba Bally 1 balelyapo pali Mbilia Bel, When V.J dies, Shala Muana will also come for the funeral. Fili eko tuleya.

  17. What beauty are people seing in this woman? Light face (because of ambi) but very dark hands and arms like most brainwashed Congolese. All the same the Chiluba family should thank her for her words of condolences and encouragement.

  18. Mbilia Bel coming all the way to Zambia to pay respects to Baba Chiluba!!!! Thank you (Merci beaucoup) Congo for coming to mourn your son and our former president. I am glad that FTJ was not ashamed of his rich heritage. Congolese are good people. Just as the Zambian musicans put together a song honoring him, it would be fitting for the Congolese musicans will do the same. We are all Africans, we share much and we need to stand together.

  19. So Zambia needs congolese naked dancers to boost its tourism? What is the slogan?

Visit Zambian to see Congolese Musicians

  20. ba LT…. “A renowned Congo DR musician Mbiliu Lukombe Managu alias ‘ Bilia Bel” apparently visited the funeral house at about 103:0 hours, yet …”…Ms Mboyo who spoke in French said…” Help connect the two personalities in your story.

  21. I am surprised some of the comments I must say Mbilia Bel is one of Africa’s best musicians, so what if she is Congolese? The lady is 52 and a veteran of working with Tabu Ley etc. in times of Franco and OK Jazz. She is your grandmother some of you

  22. Once upon a time we were all one people until a Belgian King ten thousand miles away decided to start the ‘scramble for Africa’ and soon after that families were divided and friends turned into enemies. This happened 100 to 150 years ago and until today, we believe the ‘white man’ more than ourselves. We label each other Congolese, Zambian, Zimbabwean etc etc and are prone to respect the artificial borders in which we were caged like monkeys in a zoo and forget the true blood that runs in our veins as one people under God!

  23. This woman still exists and in good shape? Amazing most celebrity women of her age have long passed on. It shows how disciplined she has been on stage and private life. I enjoy listening to her music on Youtube. Great to have women coming together in times of hardship. That is what i have known african women…UBUTU!

  24. As much as some of you may not want to accept it, Regina is the widow, Chiluba married her. Despite all the reporting Regina is actually the 3rd wife and not 2nd. Vera was second so if you say Regina is not the widow then neither is Vera.  Life is not always what we wish it should be but we have to accept things and move on.  I wonder how may commenting over this don’t have home wreckers in their own families / extended families.  We condemn the behavior (homewrecking) and embrace it when it suits us or our situations. Let’s move on and stop throwing stones.

  25. #35 Bravo, well said.Chiluba loved Regina very much, she is lost at this trying time, may the LORD confort her!!!

  26. #37 – I bet Regina is so lost without Chiluba that she has time to wear makeup and jewelry. She ain’t fulling me! I know a pile of manure when I see it. Stinky, stinky, stinky. Regina and her late hubby were birds of a feather

  27. Regina mwaiche wandi dis

Regina mwaice wandi dispite ukuba nomunensu ba Mbiliambell and understandind that mwali bamukabakateka why amachain mumukoshi its too early ukufwala sana bwino ine nakana, ukulingana ne ntambi , muloshe mumutende bane tulinaimwe mukulosha nkashi inenu
