  1. Very nice. Thanks ba LT. Try and see if you can give us what is happening on the other side as well. I mean pictures of George Kunda, Rb and Thandiwe just to balance things. I am sure you guys have got Paparazzis.

  2. Lovely photos bane, awe ba new presido and the first lady look gr8. Nga ba HH na RB balikwisa??? tabala shininkisha ati ba Sata bali wina????

  3. Not only is our new first lady learned, but she is also beautiful :) We can only hope that through her years of experience in the health sector, she will play her part as first lady and reach out from those less fortunate in our society. It would seem as though it is going to be an interesting 5 years.
This Elias Chipimo jr. lad seems like a future potential leader –we need people like him around.

  4. This is to the Editor of Lusaka Times. Kindly correct the wording under the frist picture where Bishop Joe Imakando is captioned praying. Your caption says, ” Bread of Life Church owner.” This is grossly erroneous and could be misconstrued as malicious. Bishop Imakando is the presiding Bishop of Bread of Life Church International. The owner of the Church is the LORD himself. Note that I am a only a concerned member of the Church.

    • May not be far from the truth; especially when we see succession only running from ‘presiding’ bishop to wife or son as is commonly seen in pentecostal churches!

  5. Now we have a first lady who looks like a real deal. Not that ka Thandiwe with a stature of an average grade six.Awe nizi….

  6. MoTaim I think she looked the Primary school teacher she was to be honest. No offence to primary school teachers.

  7. Just looking at these pics makes me feel so proud that i am a Zambian, I have hope we can do it as Zambians…..if only we support MCS whole heartedly, on his own it will very difficult, let us bury all the political differences for now and move together as a nation maybe until 2016, just look at the two ladies Dr. Kaseba and Mrs. Scott!!!! there is some diginity there. Let us clap for our selves please!!!!

  8. Thank you for a lovely gallery of pictures LT. The president is looking great and now I just recalled that MMD was announcing that he was dead. He is alive and God has put him in control of our nationals affairs. First lady Dr. Christine Kaseba Sata is amazingly beautiful and elegantly tall in addition to being a great doctor. Not Thandiwe, my eyes could not just get used to that lady being our first lady, she really looked lost most of the time.

  9. #1 you have made my day it was so boring.that is the real first lady matured and good advisor to the president on issues concerning the poor zambians.

  10. Great pictures. Maria Sung akosa muchikwati. I expected to see HH & the other losers at this gathering – perhaps they’re still bitter.

  11. Ba LT also show us photos of what is going on abena RB and that smallish wife of his, abena Shikapwasha, Dora, Kunda, etc, to see how they are coping with life outside the spotlight. The photo of Dr Guy Scott discussing with Dr Kaseba looks good.

  12. I REMEMBER SOME TIME BACK ,A STORY IN POST NEWS SATA TELLING RB KEEP WELL THIS CAR SO THAT I CAN USE IT NEXT YEAR,AND THEN SOMEBODY WAS HEARD SAYING ATI UYU ENA TAKANINEMO UMU (SATA) THIS ONE WILL NEVER USE THIS CAR.

  13. The First is Beautiful, U see even Guy Scott alefwaya ukukwesa kwibele pa pic 11 palast alefwaya ukupandilila pa pic 12.

  14. Whatever your political views you have to accept that Dr Kaseba, Guy Scott and MCS have worked hard to get to this point! With all the persecutions of RB, they kept on going . . . . the money laundersing and motor cars theft stories on the good Dr K and MCS and the various court cases MCS attended over the last 3 year . . .awe Lesa wa maka. God bless Zambia; God bless the hard working people of Zambia and God bless MCS.

  15. Kampengele, it is good that you attended the thanks giving prayers. You would have been in jail for sometimes so do not mess up your life again.

  16. The 1st and 2nd couple look really dignified. The two couple also give Zambia a 21st century feel of real diversity. They all look like ordinary folk whom we can all relate to. Im sure we all have an aunty, uncle, older brother, sister, whom we can relate to when we see Prezi Sata and his wife. You also get the impression that despite having humble beginings they have already achieved much in their own right such that the luxuries that come with State house will not get to them. They seem very at ease…you don’t get the impression that they have had to or will have to upgrade their ward-drops because they already had decent enough dignified outfits for the positions they hold in our society. What a breath of fresh air

  17. Was Elias Chipimo Jr the only losing Presidential candidate to attend the service? This where the other politicians get it wrong and lose grounds. Campaigning never ends and the best way to do so is to always remain in the limelight … not to go and lick your wounds. It seems as if he is set to become the next generation political leaders that Zambia can bank on. The others have got themselves to blame. Soon you will hear someone crying tribalism!!

  18. Its interesting to note that most of the people Sata is putting in charge of various sectors of this country are technocrats in those aprticular sectors and with his authoritative kind of leadership am pretty sure they ll work to the best of their abilities.

  19. Lovely set of pictures though I agree with #1. It would have been even more interesting to see some prominent figures from the other side of the fence too.

  20. Yes, Elias Chipimo Jr has positioned himself strategically. He has a future in Zambian politics because we are watching him. Way to go young man!

  21. wow these has been the most wonderful pictures ba LT,makes me happy to see people in good mood and its so wonderful to see our first lady very lovely Dr Kaseba and Dr scott’s wife. Sata is for the people for real, and looks like KK and Sata are good buddys. As for Elias Chipimo I see him as next president keeping going young man, DONT be like HH WHO HAS LOST HIS CHANCES OF BECOMING PRESIDENT for his starbornness.

  22. I think zambians are now happy with their choice for president and i could see peace in the nation,, zambians welldone

  23. I remember the insults Senior Citizen,MMD Chief Bootlicker,Mr Capitalist,Engineer and all the MMD caders who thought this day would never come. God really works in mysterious way

  24. This beautiful LT. Keep it up, next time show us the ‘other side’ also..the likes of George Kunda, Dora “R4M” Siliya, Ronnie Shikapwasha, Thandidwe and of course RB. Elias Chipimo Jr. if you keep it this way you are going to go places in politics not the bitter people we almost thought were indeed capable and have shown themselves to be untrustworthy ba HH.

  25. These are the sort of pictures RB and his fellow plunderers would never want to see. The people of Zambia are great, they decided without wavering that it was time for real change. We shall now see some diginity in State house. Things had become very embarrasing and shameful in our country in RB’s administration where a senior leader emphasised on using her buttocks and breasts as her main campaign message.

  26. BA LT GOOD JOB GUYS. KEEP IT UP. CONTINUE BALANCING YOUR NEWS AS THE REST OF THE NEWSPAPERS ARE JUST REPORTING ABOUT OUR LOVELY AND HARD WORKING PRESIDENTS.

THE PICTURES SPEAK A THOUSAND WORDS.

GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR ENTIRE TEAM

  27. First Lady Dr. Kaseba looks beautiful …..but I wouldn’t want to compare her with former first lady Thandiwe. The are both wonderfully and beautifully created by God. They are both women with great attributes with different positions in society. Former first lady is a young lady in her late 20’s, I believe whilst First lady Dr. Kaseba is a mature woman in her late 50’s I would guess.

  28. Bishop Sakala gave a powerful prayer. I watched the edited version of the service, hey, you should all watch it.

  29. Number 6. You are very wrong. You donno anything about bread of life. My friend’s dad is the former co-owner. lol.

  30. Since Capitalist and MMD Bootfimofimo stopped coming on here on daily basis this place has gone quiet. Imagine how many posts we would have had from them (him) if it was RB and George Kunda in the photos!

Please Bootfimofimo and Mr Capitalist, come back, all if forgiven! lol!

  31. Pic no # 9.11 and 12 am sure they can you believe we are sitting here hahaha it could have RB and Tandiwe now.gossip mu church.just saying LOL.

  32. Pics # 29 and # 31, What happened to the man who used to wait with 20lt jerry cans at the filling stations when there were fuel shortages, the man that used to take lifts in rickety old Nissan champs and converse with passengers in buses when stopped at red traffic lights.

That simplicity has flown out the window. I don’t blame him though. Just look at that Benz!

  33. Where were all his other wives like Bishop Mpundus sister, Suba et all. A learned MD thinks its okay for the husband to screw around!

  34. People, God is the owner of the church, regardless of who built it or who the presiding pastor is.
    God bless Zambia!

  35. The first lady is very beautiful and dignified. and also learned. atleast zambia will now not be embarrassed at international meeting were a first lady is expected to speak. because Dr Kaseba is articulate and educated.
