American Gospel Musician Kirk Franklin has arrived in the country. He is making his debut visit to Zambia with expectations from the locals upped after experiencing his charismatic kind of musical display from the screens.
The 41 year old renowned artist is schedule to work with local musicians during his stay and later host a concert within the capital Lusaka.
Speaking to Muvi TV news on arrival at the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport, Franklin said he is looking forward to working with Zambian musicians to help them excel in their careers.
He added the music should be used by those in the industry to promote behavior change among the young people who are an important asset.
ALL is set for the world acclaimed and top-selling Gospel artist Kirk Franklin historical concert slated for today Monday, December 5 at Lusaka’s Mulungushi International Conference Centre.
This guy is good. Watched him put in an electrifying performance at ‘The Experience’ praise and worship concert at Eko Hotel in Lagos last Friday. I just hope the concert organisers in Lusaka do a good job.

Welcome kirk, my only worry is the day for the show on Monday.They should have arranged it on a weekend so that a lot of people have a chance to see him and listen to his music. We hope our zambian musicians will learn one or two things. The current gospel we are listening to is a mixture of rhumba and gospel. Let us have a distinction between the two.
