He says that had the governemnt had proper plans for the economy, the local currency would not have experiencing shocks.

He says that it is important for the PF to put in place measures that will ensure that the level of the economy does not further go down.

He says that a lot challenges might arise as a result of the poor management of the economy.

  1. U knw why ua called under 5? its because u criticise without offfering solutions. Write to Ukwa advising him hw to tackle challenges in the country. This way the citizenry will start looking at you as the goverment in waiting. What u portray to the nation with yo complaints is bitterness. Get advise and change yo strategy b4 its too late mr under 5

    • I agree with you “Mambala”. HH needs to change his strategy as he is in a better position now to be in the next government

    • Its not mandatory that advice should be in writing bwana. HH has shown that the economy is in shumbles and you know it. This is the subject on the floor. Sep 2011 Kwacha was 4700 to a dollar but taday, I hope you know the rate.

    • Sata was the first underfive because he was more vocal than HH when he was in opposition he even caused Mwanawasa to have his first heart attack. What nonsense is this iwe Mambala???

    • Not as easy as it sounds. If it were so, we would all be vying for thee presidency. At least we should respect our leaders. But this does not mean that we should stop criticising. On the question of the economy: Zambia is not the only country experiencing economic difficulties. Look at what is happening in Europe, the Euro is on the verge of collapsing as we speak. Not everyone can become an economic expert by reading one article in some newspaper or on the web. If you have no idea about the working of the economy just shut up. Anyway you have every right to criticise just as every citizen is entitled to.YOU PEOPLE SHOULD BE READING ‘THE JOURNEYMAN’ IN THE PERSON. THE GUY RAISES IMPORTANT ISSUES AFFECTING OUR COUNTRY RATHER THAN WASTING YOUR TIME INSULTING EACH OTHER.

    • Iwe timtim, when there was a global financial crisis, was Zambia affected??? All the other countries felt it except for Zambia, which we can objectively credit RB for – whether you like it or not. You are making so many U-turns after promising wonders. Please just deliver the wonders you promised

    • Atase Ba Iydia, you are a fool! An exchange rate defines the economy? HH is not half as smart as Alex Chikwanda, research!

  2. Iwe Mambala, why always being personal? HH said PF should put in place measures that will ensure that the level of the economy does not further go down. Do you want him to teach PF how to put such measures? If PF does not know how to do that, they can look for consultants to help them.

  3. Its becoming clearer by the day to more and more people……..

To those who are analytical enough, it was fairly obvious before the whole nightmare begun.

    • You have no idea what a nightmare is. Go to Barotse and see what poverty is, that’s what will happen when we leave you to your traditional rulers!

  4. Ever listened to this guy talk about economic management? Go to YouTube, a lotta fools who just criticize him will be surprised at his brilliance. Honestly, compared to Ukwa the liar HH is the man.

  5. HH is right he has admonished PF to put up measures to avoid this nose dive of the kwacha only fools will not see sense in what HH is saying. What kind of stupidity is in PF blogaz who can’t accept in divergent views . PF zealots must not be allergic opposing opinions. PF inherited a strong economy from RB the kwacha has never in history depreciated this far. I guess some pipo are just good to keep them in opposition and make noise for ever. Running a country is not like running a donchi ukubeba club

    • HH can criticise just like any jim and jack can. Why doesn’t he put forward alternative means of running the economy? You can govern even in opposition. What you ought to know is that average economic minds believe that a poor Kwacha is bad. When copper prices are high, a poor Kwacha is favourable. Why can’t you comment on reduced inflation, lowered borrowing rates, almost halved maize prices and the cheaper cost of doing oil distribution business. Come at me with your best stats because I have mine on my fingertips! Running Grant Thornton is not the same as running a country.

  6. Bonwell Chunsu Kasaka. Shut up and and mind your business. Wait for your turn in 2065 if you will be young enough.

  7. Yes HH, we have realized that too but its too late. They are already in power. We just need to wait for 2016.

  8. Total rubbish from this under 5 chap as usual! Advise this boy to immediately go to mongu and assist his pal ngambela wainyelawila who is in deep shit right now after the SMART NKOYA PEOPLE have chased the lozi imposter AMUKENA! We are tired of these cheap comments from this boy! He thought he could gain political capital from useless resolutions passed by a bunch of *****s calling themselves BNC.

    • You are drunk. Your name is Nathan Kashoko and you appeared in that porn video at ZCAS. You used performance enhancement and we all know it. No wonder you were both reaching out for juice!

  9. I think kwacha depreciation has been always there even b4 ukwa came into power. I remember myself buying dollar @ 5200 in RB regime. this agony of kwacha depreciation started after the death of our dear Mwanawasa. Lets hope chikwanda and Bozi will do something for us to remember them when they are out of goverment. My boss HH. I am waiting for minimum K5million pay promise. eagerly waiting for you mr future president.

  10. WHAT MEASURES ? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. And what credentials does this guy have to lecture on the economy. He short changed the zambian people during privatisation and left us holding the bag and thousands of employees with no benefits while he gave himself a golden parachute!!! heneeds to fall on his knees and plead for forgiveness from the zambian people

    • when Sata was in opposition,he used to talk alot .Now when HH advises the Pf Government he is called all sorts of names. What is your problem you fools. The man is sharp and we need people like HH.tell me you fools who else is talking sense ?

  12. I am not a supporter of HH but I am afraid I couldn’t agree more on the issue he has raised. A lot of people had high hopes from PF government especially the youths but all the dreams seem to be shattered now!

    • Dreams are shattered for those who cannot work on their own. You call villagers like yourself youth? The youth are us who are qualified and employed. Our own effort. You are disgruntled and a product of two failures, one male and one female…Oh, sorry, your big man and his civil gay partner! Testube baby!

  13. HH is kinda right. The PF govt have no idea how to run a country and that is why we headed for downfall. All the sata regime has achieved is winning the election. Zambia is a laughing stock now….. how could zambians honestly believe pf would change the country in 90 days, ati more money in our pockets. Right now the suffering of the people is much more than during RB and the previous govts.

    • You are headed for a downfall yourself my friend. You have no statistics to back your blarb. More people are suffering when maize prices have gone down? When taxes for the lowly paid have gone down? When borrowing rates are lower? You must be living in Zimbabwe!

    • @Assasin.The selling price of maize is not dictated by demand and supply.its GRZ FLOOR price.despite it going done, the cost of producing a tonne per hectare is higher in zambia compared to countries within the region.why hasnt the price of maize meal come done?borrowing rates can come down but as long as the same conditions still apply, many people still dont have the capacity to borrow due to Collateral among other things.inflation is linked to food prices here in zambia and not as an agrregate of other factors that can cause inflation e.g Demand pull inflation,Cost push inflation etc. When Zambia is wholly dependant on imports,ZMK IS A PROBLEM .The copper prices and mine houses can smile but that money never comes back to zed except to settle operational costs.

  14. Bravo HH, forget about those who hate you and even them do not know why they hate you. I don’t think it is HH’s task to sit the PF and teach them how to manage the economy. For them to have faught to rule they must have enough knowledge on how to go about it. HH continue pointing out areas where they need to focus but don’t spoon feed them after all can UKWA even listen to advice???? Nay

    • But HH will always be an opposition leader. HH has only mentioned exchange rates. When you are exporting copper, it’s better when the rate is poor. Check your economics. You are so blind. I hate fools like you who feast on faeces and spermatozoa!

  15. So far, I have not seen any economic mistakes. Many moves have been good, PF has had borrowing rates reduced, cost of doing oil business reduced, taxes resonably reduced for the poor, reduced taxes for banks by 5%, stopped the unfair distribution of nepotistic wealth via CEEC. All people criticising can point to is the exchange rate. Right now copper prices are at an all time high and moves to bring stability to the rate will reduce copper’s international value in the exchange rate sense. Criticise with statistics, not emotion!

    • Borrowing rates doesnt entail every jim/jack will borrow as long as security is what people dont have.Others who had collateral even now can borrow.inflation is not linked to cost push inflation or demand pull inflation but always looking at food prices pa Zed,careless talk creates uneasy among investors,The 80% of earnings from copper dont come to zed but externalised.you increased royalties from 3%to 6% but reduced export duty from 15% to 10% on the same copper to hoodwink gullible people,???????.
you need to stimulate local production and increase of local exports to create jobs but we arent seeing those efforts yet by UKWA.

  16. NO ONE SHOULD BLAME HH ON THIS POINT WHICH HAS RISEN..TRUE OUR ECONOMY IS GOING DOWNWARDS,WE ARE REGRATING WHY WE VOTED FOR UKWA HH 2016 IS OURS

  17. Mr. HH, give us suggestions kaili, since you seem to know better, and you would also like to convince us that you would be the best candidate, so tell us, what would you do and how would you do it? What is your economic strategy?

  18. HH could be more detailed and specific if he had been given that space I think. However, we need to highlight specifics issues with government. I have an issue with government when it comes to coordinated plans about the way forward from RB s point of departure. Nothing is really coming out apart from things like, we shall, we will, we shall, we will… Not good enough, time is running out and the Barotses need tangible movements of economic issues on the sandy ground.

  19. HH, we have so many funerals this week. Can’t you please comment on Mutarika, Chief Chitimukulu or Nakatindi Wina.
This is why they categorize you in Under 5. Tell people what is “wise” in that particular day. What is ECONOMY has to do with Zambians, after all everybody are doing super well.

  20. I totally agree with HH,  we seems not have direction. HH can make an excellent president. However, he need to change the strategy and sort out two problems at hand. One, his party being tribal (yes even PF is tribal, unfortunately for it ,more than 50% are bemba speaking people). if you go to UPND secretariat you find all speak tonga so is PF with Bemba. Two, he need to find a way of not being seen as richest man in Zambia and being in politic is just a favour is doing Zambians. People in street or villages dont want to associate with “some   of us”. Sata might even been richer than HH, but he protrail as poor old man with an old car with 6 guns and on number of occassion he was seen in very old colora tax. in short HH need to learn from MMD 1991 and PF 2011

  21. HH thats why u are called under 5 coz your citicism does’nt add any vaue.Anyway, let me not waste time on the minorities who will never rulle Zambia.U are still bitter coz we denied u a vote.Come 2016 we will still vote for PF since SATA wont stand coz he is not greedy like u.Viva SATA and PF!

  22. Stupid citizens will always have stupid leadership as can be evidenced by the bloggers who simply support without summoning their brain into the topic. HH has given advice in a respective way and here you are insulting him.No wonder Zambia will always lag behind progressive minds

    • Ba Chills … you said “Stupid citizens will always have stupid leadership”. I beg to differ with you, I have a lot of respect for the Smart People of the Zambian Enterprise. And for argument seek, are your parents Zambian citizens or any of your extended family members Zambian citizens?

You just insulted your parents and all your family members by calling them stupid, you mom would really be annoyed with you. And for clarity did you intend to write “respectful” instead of “respective”? Please advise … thanks a trillion.

  23. The facts are plainly there.the kwacha has godown, there is no growth in the economy hence the high unemplyment rate. Its honourable to ask the gvt to look at these issues.HH has done well

  24. It is criticism like this that will make the PF govt wake up from honeymoon hangover. Late LPM (MHSRIP) was roundly criticised by MCS but he used the criticism to build an some form of economic/anti-corruption management plan. Hero worshipping is not got for a country and it leader. Its what made KK “bad” and late FTJ (MHSRIP) wantonly blind and unchecked. Group think (everyone thinking the same) is bad for any organisation/institution.

  25. CORRUPTION by RB and his clouts put has in all these problems, it may take a bit of time to “clean up” but thats why we voted PF we are giving them chance after all 20 years is enough time to “right” things. GOD BLESS ZAMBIA

  26. govt machinery drives the economy, the part in power gves policy direction.as for hh its nt commentin abt the economy that wl win him the presidency, let him go & camp in luapula, muchinga northen, eastern &copperbelt.its a fact that over 50p.c speak the bemba dialect.so wake up mr under5.the 90days fuss is over lets keep a tab on pf until 2016 as we await elias chipimo

  27. HH is talking like an economists, respect an economist.dunderheads if u dont understand anything about economics, can u leave it for us pls?we are asking u.thank u

  28. Not enough Meat in your comment under five. IMF and some rating agency think we are ok. The problem is if you ask four economists you get four different views. They never agree on anything.

  29. #28 – In this context I used the clout to simply mean HH does not have what it takes to be a President so he should just shut up

  30. Bane I seem to have no kind words for the former regime because I was directly affected (negatively) by the former governments corruption. There are a number of things that I can tell you and most of you can shed tears am not exergerating, dont you wonder why despite their “monies” MMD lost electionsso convincingly? I was home during that period. President, Government leaders, their wives, children, girlfriends became affluent while hospitals, schools lacked basic necesities, police. prison officers bought their own uniforms from salaula, inmates moved naked. GOD BLESS ZAMBIA

  31. The only reason our economy APPEARS to be doing well is because of the good price that copper is getting on the world metal markets, with the Chinese leading the demand side of the equation. We have absolutely no control over the price of copper. Take copper out of the Zambian economy equation and we are one of the poorest of the poor.

We need economic managers who can look beyond the copper mist and manage our economy based on the inevitable fact that the Chinese lead copper bubble will one day burst. The minor fluctuations in the strength of the Kwacha we are currently experiencing are nothing compared to the catastrophe that awaits us if we do not make preparations while the times are still favourable.

    Three words. DIVERSIFY, DIVERSIFY, DIVERSIFY

  32. #40 Educate me, what do people who have the clout look like? Probably have standard 2 level of education or what? Pls help understand.

  33. Just bring those plans to barotseland. The people from N/Rhodesia are very selfish, better to leave them rule themselves. When they propose chikwanda or chipimo for 2016,they mean it.

    • kinako u are an ***** person i have eva think of in shot u r a moron!and who told u tht barotse wil succeed with tht stupid idea.u hopeles m*ther niga

  34. Indeed they mean it and you dare not confront them on the basis they make such propositions, then you are being tribal. I really pray that God will one day hecken to our plea to live apart from such people. Their selfishness is beyond comprehension.

  35. Levy- Seemed not to care about the Zambian people when in fact he did.

Sata- Seems to care about the Zambian people and actually does.

RB- Didn’t seem to give a damn and actually didn’t.

    • You have no evidence as to what you’re assuming. What I know is that food prices have gone down for all, extra tax free money is for all, lower borrowing rates are for all. And all banks have their tax reduced.

  36. HH and chiefs have brought nothing but tribalism and hatred, including hinderance of development… No offence, but i think these chiefs are lazy, greedy and trully evil…

  37. I can personaly foresee hh as a next victim of cadiac arest. I know tongas wil react to this. As TB Joshua

  38. #44 – It doesn’t necessary take education to be a good President. Take Brazil for instance, the best president that country has ever had, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, doesn’t even have a high school education. Brazil is a booming economy because of a 6th grade educated president.

HH is meek as a lamb.

  39. Since when did the strength of a currency become the measure of economic performance? You see what ignorance does? Someone pops up from the woodwork, mentions some term knowing most people will have not clue & you all think he is talking sense. As long as the general population remains ignorant about a whole raft of issues of national importance, we will continue to be fooled as a nation & end up with silky politicians who have no clue about how anything in the world work.

USD,JPY, YUAN, EURO,REAL are all weaker than the GBP. USA, Japanese, Chinese, German & Brazillian economies are all doing much better than the British economy. As a matter of fact the USD was recently trading at 1.6 to a pound, the lowest it’s been since 1996 & the British economy is in a much worse state than USA!

  40. Blogging does not achieve anything but expose the stupidity and ignorance of some people. HH has thrown the ball in PF’s court, it’s up to them to find answers and correct the economic structure. In 2012, with all the land Zambia has, we still have no clue how to make cornflakes, we still think copper will save us…..shame. maybe the focus should change to agriculture so we export agricrops too.

    • If you think the economy is about cornflakes and vitumbuwa then you are dellusional! Zambia does export agricultural produce like maize, tobacco, tea and sugar. The onus is on the owners of the produce to export. Government’s role is to provide a framework and they have. As JFK said ‘ask not what America can do for you but that which you can do for America’. Most Zambians are lazy, they go to bars at 7am till late. It’s upto smart people like you to make money off this information gap!

    • Ba Tuvi:

I don’t know how old you are but at one time everything was made in Zambia, from Tatra Razor Blades, to ITT Supersonic Television, to Mansa Batteries, To Fiat 127, 124, 131 and 132, to Peugot 504, 404 in Livingstone, to Fuso in Chingola, to Land Rovers in Ndola to Bicycles in Chipata, to Tire at Dunlop in Ndola. We even started assembling TATAs in Lusaka, we were the largest suppliers of aluminum in Sub-Saharan Africa, I can go on and on and the MMD killed all that by mistaking democracy with privatization. To cream it all we were the largest exports to the European Union of Agro products only Botswana came second and that was in beef products only.

  41. #50, you still havent said what constitutes your so called clout. Just itemise what you know are the necessary ingredients to one becoming a president, you might be educating HH as well.

  42. there so many intellectuals in the civil service,u ar mistaken that only yo under 5 knw how to manage ths country.the pf ve bn slow in implementin ther plans coz rb & crew simply ransacked the treasury bt left gud plans which jst needs some adjustment in terms of figures & implementation period.hh reaped frm the luanshya mine intercontinetal lston & lima bank besides he is gone on to destroy the once national upnd.4get 2016 u morons.after ukwa its chipimo take heed!

  43. …and you HH have no plan of managing what’s left of your political career. Just go sit down somewhere already.

  44. @ No.40, NP – Even if true, that’s no reason to “shut up” as you say – in fact some would argue that the man in State House doesn’t have what it takes to be a president either.

  45. @Mimi, you keep asking the Same stupid question about the meaning of the word “clout”. Can you just google the word and see where you can fit Sata in it god damn it.

  46. Tuvi, I am not asking you because I know you have no clue. My question is to Nubian princess who brought out the argument. Ofcourse clout shoul be a package of qualities for presidency and that is what I want to know. I rather you Tuvi shut up and let me converse with Nubian princess.

  47. @Mimi, now that you have googled and answered yourself I shall leave u to converse with nubian. At least you won’t bore the masses with your boring, misinformed and non intellectual views any longer.

  48. HH has a point but it is pointless making a point when none of the intended audience with their followers will not take hid. How did the old fellow earn the name Ukwa? is it more honourable than the King snake.

  49. Mimi and Tuvi now you both shut up. I am going to be Zambia’s next President because I have the clout and the education.

  50. Definition of CLOUT:

Let us begin by telling you what it isn’t children.

    Clout IS NOT

1.) Educational qualification. That is too over-rated in some circles
    2.) Arrogance

In the political arena, it is the ability to convey confidence in meeting challenges and commitments made to the electorate.

  51. Don’t use big words like “clout”, some teenage bloggers get confused easily. Okay okay back to the issue at hand……. How else would you expect HH to put it? Economy is going downhill and PF don’t seem to have right answers.

  52. In what seems to be a state organised ‘theft’ MMD presidential hopefull Nevers Mumba has lost all his personal documents. Act of intimidation!!!!!!!!!!!!

  53. What should we make of all this talk from HH? I see him as a man desperate man truing to cling on to something he is losing. Criticising without offering solutions is as foolish as reading without understanding anything. Get a room HH, at least criticise when you can offer tangible solutions. Otherwise wait for your time, If it will ever come is another question or topic of debate.

  54. imwe mwe bantu what do you expect from PF in 6 months? Currencies depreciate and appreciate every where in the world. the US dollar has done that several times and it has only recovered after some time. please give PF a break

  55. Please! people stop all this rabish and take your time. In Sweden it took them about 50years to improve there country from corruption and poverty when they had the honesty king. And our new precident is is there for a few month.

    • Susu, and our president H.E Sata does look or sound or carry himself like that honest Swedish King????

  56. @1 and the rest I agree with you bakalamba. I am sick and tired of uyu kadoli. In Britain and America opposition parties offer solutions nomba uyu kaboodo lyonse kwilishanya, kabwa!!! :((:((:((

  57. Trouble in Kolwestan??? Ke ke ke… running a country is not like organising matebeto or kusefya pa ng’wena. We are waiting for the deliverables. It is not HH to give you solutions his job is to criticise you – whether he is objective or not. If what he is saying is nonsense, why not just ignore it then? HH, hatwende haFUTURE!

    • Stupid tribalist- You think running a country is making mabisi and drinking chibwantu? You must go and get your denkete aka foot and mouth disease level checked! Hatuponyole Hatuejaculate!

    • ke ke ke… Character Assassin, wansekesha sana although in Kolwestan we say Bakolwe tabasekana ichipata. Otherwise, I will pray for you so that you realise that not everyone who is in opposition is from Bantustan

  58. Mimi agen this slut must b demon possesed.see hh2056 has become ugly.very soon he start shyin away frm the median coz too many rinkles

  59. discussion closed for this article please….CHARACTER ASSASIN 00 has summarised it very well for all of us! Thank you! Go sleep and wait for the president’s speech tomorrow…

  60. Let HH talk he is a politician go HH nothing wrong in what you are saying surelly something needs to be done by PF

  61. HH as the opposition is not wrong in making sure there are checks and balances with Sata’s government. My only hope is that he does not end up like the opposition in the US where they feel everything should be criticised even when they know it is for the benefit of the people.

  62. Zemuntu, you are a lunatic, so obsessed with me. You are really so challenged by my postings thats why you always resort to insults. Whatever you say cannot change who I am you little monkey. Kabiye upipe wanunka amafi. I will not respond to you ever again because you have proved beyond reasonable doubt that you are a clown.

    • Yes we are intimidated by you because you are a harlot who everyone has done and your virus is now verbally spread. Little Tonga tribalist. Take your rubbish to Ngambela!

  63. I have just check in from my Easter break extreme mountain biking experience in the countryside. On the article though what can I say about ka HH; He is high on noise but low on solutions like a empty can of coke.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter Break, if you didn’t maybe next year will better..

  64. Some people on this blog seem to be still living in denial.brothers and sisters, i know it’s disappointing to that you supported Sata and his PF because u thought he was Zambia’s savior as many portrayed him. However, this is reality, like him or not HH is right these guys have no clue on governance issues. Its a case of trial and error.Zambia is languishing in poverty and will continue to be in sh*t as long as we have people continue singing songs to santa.

  65. Bornwell Chunsu dribbled the Zambians during the Privtization programme and cannot be trusted with the Natinal treasure again. It will never hapen until he explains where he got the loot from

  66. Mr. Ebu is advising his friend Ukwa without sighting the solutions thats why the young man from Narep Chipimo makes more sense coz he proposes solutions aswell dont keep ideas to yourself what if you never become president? you will die with your ideas.

  67. HH, Provide alternatives that way you will be seen as the incoming Leader not just condemning in abstract.

    Dollar

  68. Bafikamba kwena mulesamwa. Anyway, days are numbered! Ukwa is old and very soon, he will take his good for nothing words to chingwele. Musalu wali pesamba……..

  69. HH my advice to you is that stop concentrating on the government of the day, gives us solutions to the problems were are currently facing like the way mazoka did and also tells us where those coloured children of yours came from as we do not know the coloured wife you married.

  70. PF Economic Policies Unclear. I agree with HH the UPND president that PF economic policies seem unclear and uncoordinated. PF promised an more equitable benefit from the sustained copper boom. But the finance minister Mr. Chikwanda seem not have been privy to PF re-election promises. The God given Copper industry drives every sector of Zambia’s economy. There has been a biggest ever copper boom and sustained but there is no economic boom in the country. Richer nations like USA have developed through empowering their nationals in their entreprenurial efforts by availing affordable capital. Much of our financial / banks industry are few steps behind, apart from being mostly preditory. Our capital is very expensive. Eccess to capital is Zambia number one killer of local entreprenuership and

  71. PF carders are so hypocritical. What solutions did the serpent you voted offer to MMD then in Govt.Just accept that SATA is a gong’a, thats all and stop being blindly biased against HH in your comments. He has a right to criticise this clueless Govt and has no obligation to offer whatever solution he has.He is not going to be paid for that but SATA will get the salary, grow up and open your eyes.this is 21st century.

  72. I know that the truth pains,HH has just hit the nail on its head.zambia has everything to be richer than Netherland.pool planning on the part of you the the so called old and exeplienced gang.you people have distroyed the future of youths by doing policies which are not helpful to sustain the economy.HH has the right to help give checks and balances he speaks on behalf of so many UPND members.change for the better or you will be the shortest party to  be in power viiiiiiiiva HH and UPND.

  73. I thought one could advise PF but after reading some comments from some of the PF zealots, I have concluded that it is impossible to give any advise to PF. They will never reason!

  74. Commentators like the first one (M’MALA) who avoid constructive debates and continue to call HH an under 5 (when at least he is an over form 5), are mediocre, naive and have a stupid allergy to criticism. Every one knows there’s nothing positive from the PF in terms of the economy so deal with the rot. Bitterness is the way Sata pounced on his former party MMD and still does. HH is simply performing his role as OPPOSITION PARTY leader, you must be foolish to expect him to smile and nod his head. Get real foolish

  75. Unemployed armchair critic wannabe president Hakainde Hichilema speaks. Again. Empty vessels make the most noise

  76. HH should learn the difference between CAMPAIGNING and COMPLAINING. Complaining that somebody else is president

  77. @Airtime Sakala, Like Sata has proven to be, Get HHs point with logic. This is a government which claimed to have understood windfall tax and was going to reintroduce it. We know what happened they did reintroduce but called us lunatics, you call that a plan. lets be fair when criticizing HH, His voice is noice to you because it makes you unconfortable with your pathetic decsion of 20th September

  78. Sata really made noise when he was in opposition, more than HH if I remember well. So he is the biggest empty vessel we have that’s why we are in this quagmire.

  79. EVERBODY, HOLD ON!! Let’s not turn a blind eye or apply a double standard. Didn’t Ukwa, while in opposition, also just criticise and make fun of people (Mazoka, LPM…) and not offer any sort of plan on how to deal with the issues at hand?? Hell, he’s still doing that!!!

Anyway, I guess if you offered up some strategy/measures/ideas they’d (any under-performing govt in power) just steal them and say it was what they had planned already. Afterall, this is african politics and “boma ni boma.”
