    • I’ve known Mutembo since campus days and he’s still very much a commited christian. In terms of “love of money” that is simply far from the truth. He is a very genourous person and respects the friedships he has made over time. Re: Zambian Airways was a separate entity from the shareholders so they are legally not liable for any loses. 

    • I do not know him personally, so i cannot say whether he is a good christian or not or whether he loves money or not. What I know is that he personally guaranteed the loan.

    • Mr. Spike, a director who uses personal surety to secure a loan for his limited company becomes personally liable and can lose everything – even his underpants.

  8. Musonda is just scared shi+less of the findings that the tribunal will make public about him. This letter does not prove anything except that Musonda is a scared unprincipled thief who can not take responsibility for his actions.

    Please arrest him for his own safety.

    • My sentiments exactly..so very immature!Not too long ago LAZ president was threatening severe reprimands to lawyers giving press releases on ongoing cases,particular that involving the suspended judges,I suppose its a preserve of State house only……no matter how unwarranted!

Daily Mail has become the new and deteriorated Post.what load of nonsense they publish.Leave this judge who has faithfully served for 31 years alone! We have no qualms against him.

    • Public discourse should be on development.These matters are supposed to be handled by the Intelligence service and not for public domain.The PF govt should grow up.

  20. Something is very wrong with the system – why wasn’t the letter made available solely to the tribunal and published together with its findings? If the man is afraid, why not reassure him instead of further worsening matters? Why is there so much confusion in the country right now? We make donations we cant afford to make; there are tribunals and commissions everywhere; qualified people are being kicked out; people in retirement are being called out to work in positions they have no more orientation in and worse still, the presidents cronies are running the show. Reminds me of the settings before the French and Russian revolutions….people can only take so much……nibani aba leteka kanshi?

  47. Such leaks and revelations will compromise the work of the tribunal. In the end people will will take the decision and recommendations of the tribunal with a pinch of salt. The letter is clearly marked “Secret” so what happened to keeping state secrets secret if State House is in the forefront of revealing secrets?

  51. The life of the judge being threatened because of a newspaper article? Suppose its true that the story is false, does a newspaper need the involvement of the intelligence to make such a mistake? We read of newspaper making apologies for publishing wrong stories, sometimes even against state house, are they instigated by the intelligence? And since when did Nchito start commanding the intelligence? This allegation just proves that the judge really has a bone to chew with Mutembo. And for a person whose work involves passing judgements based on evidence at the highest court in the land to make these baseless conclusion speaks volumes about the kind of judges we have.

DPP should go on leave if he doesnt want to step down until his case is disposed off. 4. No man/lady, the legal framework does not operate like that. There procedures and ultimately there should be a cause (herein of national interest) for an item to be declassified. Because of this procedural and cause constraint some countries have sought and passed the FOI to make such information as may be vital to the public readily available.

  87. HH, was spot on this evening when answered questions on Africa Unite Muvi TV assignment at 20:30 Zambian time. He clearly articulated the points. MCS should be pinching himself for thinking that he is going to bulldoze his way and get away with it. When he was in opposition he met foreign diplomats left, right and centre but now he does not want his colleagues to do so. We already told you that Satanists have regrouped. Mutembo Nchito has been hiding behind the born again Christian issue, but he is not any different from the masonries he has gone to bed with. We cannot blame M’Membe because he has not claimed any christianity he is who he is. He saves his master who he belongs to.
