Power Dynamos vice -Chairman George Lungu has demanded compensation from Roan United after stone throwing home fans in Luanshya damaged his vehicle during riots at Kafabu Stadium.
Lungu’s vehicle a Toyota Hilux had its rear windscreen shattared during Saturday’s riots that led to the abandonment of the Super Division match between Roan and Power when the hosts were 2-1 down.
Lungu said the Luanshya side should be punished over crowd trouble at Kafubu.
He stated that the violent conduct by Roan supporters was unacceptable.
“They (Roan) should be punished for that unruly behaviour. That is unacceptable, fans should support their team with decency,” Lungu said.
Meanwhile Roan supporters chairman Misheck Bwalya has accused Power fans and keeper Joshua Titima of sparking the riots.
“Titima angered our fans when he kicked a ball boy and the referee only gave him a yellow card. Earlier Power fans had hit our coaches with bottles. We are not a violent team” Bwalya sai
