Movie review – Django Unchanged

A former slave and a German bounty hunter become unlikely allies in the battle against a tyrannical plantation owner in this western from visionary director Quentin Tarantino. Two years before the Civil War pits brother-against-brother, German-born fugitive hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award-winner Christoph Waltz) arrives in America determined to capture the outlaw Brittle brothers dead or alive. In the midst of his search, Dr. Schultz crosses paths with Django (Academy Award-winner Jamie Foxx), a freed slave and skilled tracker who seeks to rescue his beloved wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington) from ruthless plantation owner Calvin Candie (Academy Award-nominee Leonardo DiCaprio). Once Django has aided Dr. Schultz in coralling the Brittle brothers, the two team up to capture some of the most wanted men in the South. Meanwhile, Django never loses sight of his mission to free Broomhilda from the treacherous slave trade before it’s too late.

• Excellent acting buy the whole cast especially Jamie foxx and leonardo dicaprio ,who were amazing in this movie.

Dr. King Schultz –You silver tongued Devil you
This is a must watch movie . If you’re going to see one film at the cinema GO AND WATCH DJANGO! The story, cast, action, The comedy! BEST FILM of 2013 so far. Some have criticized this movie for the excessive use of the “N” word, but I think it is a reflection of the time period the movie is set in. The sometimes extreme violence was also criticized but that is what you expect from a Quentin Tarantino Tarantino film .

  1. Imwe I watched that movie as a kid in the 80s in Chamboli township. Its Django Unchained not ifyo mulembele apo. Honestly whats happened in Z? No professionalism!! Doesnt someone proof-read before publication of anything?

  2. Leornado is always a joy to watch. Don Johnson also did an exceptional job as Big Daddy and oh did i want Samuel Jackson dead!!!

  3. Seen the movie already. Though a bit violent, it is indeed a well acted movie. Loved the part where Django (Jamie Foxx) was allowed the freedom to chose his outfit for the first time. BOY, did he go for it; screaming Sky-Blue and White—hahahahaha, classic!

    Good movie, go see it!

    • Okay…. That last one by Stephen was funny…..

“You Black son of a ….BOOOOOOOM*

But all in all, the movie gets the hype from the fact that its a Tarantino movie,…..

      Nothing really clever about it,….!!

  4. just a classic movie, i like the sound tracks. just imagine a western film with hip pop soundtrack, quentin tarantino is just a genius.
