Opposition NAREP Youth League President Aquino Mutale has resigned from the party with effect from Tuesday, March 05 203.

In a statement, Mr. Mutale said he has decided to resign from the party after much consultation and prayer.

He said his resignation has been triggered by a lack of tolerance to divergent views, a high level of hypocrisy and political immaturity.

“Lest I be accused of merely being frustrated, I must put on record that NAREP has the potential to amass a national wide support. However, even after 3 years in existence, a political Party that only has one face, one voice and a stubborn unrealistic approach to our politics is a bar to political maturity and I can no longer be part of it. I have been fatigued,” Mr. Mutale said.

He said he will take the next few days to reflect on his political vocation and further consult and seek guidance.

“After much thought, I and other like-minded colleagues will announce our future political prospect.”

    • No problem NAREP is stil undergoing creation.. besides chipimo, has the money, the education,,,, most important he young and still has the time,, oh, and he`s not desperate and no cance/hiv like other people

    • Admit youth chairman that you have been hooked by PF. You cannot swim free, period. Goodluck and enjoy yourself as PF. Don’t give excuses which you don’t owe anybody.

    • Yes just leave mwaiche, its easy to tell from the articles that Chipimo writes that the future of NAREP is utopia.

  1. If politics was a productive industry we would be world suppliers of political products! Yo! Yo! Yo! Just look at all those workers moving from one factory to another!

  2. I have always said that this NUREP thing is just another PF extension and any sensible person will not find value in it. Let that Chipinio man just continue accompanying CNPs to Rio. Trash

    • Working across the isle is not a mistake, imwe ma political neophytes. We need people to interact, just not to buy into other people’s vices.

  3. Elias now should realize that he needs to work with other people and allow others talk and make decisions. He has marketed himself quite well but he needs to make known the people in his camp and allow them to have a voice. He is always issuing statements about himself and the party. Find a spokes person to talk on behalf of the party, you cannot do all the work alone!

  4. Take my advise Aquino. It is not right in life to burn bridges behind you. It is not good to lie and want to create confusion where its not necessary. The truth is you were removed from that position in December last year and replaced by Wilson Banda who is still chairman of the NAREP youth league. I therefore find it very sad that a young person like you can be lying to the nation. Your appetite for Media will put you in trouble if you are not careful. When you are disciplined its better to accept and change for the better. You have not resigned young man. Chipimo fired you 3 months ago. Challenge me if this is not true. Any party you will join will just like NAREP be bigger than Aquino Mutale. Try not to lie next time and people may respect you.

    • Am disappointed with this Aquino kid. At his age, he is lying to the nation…..what do we expect from him 20 yrs from now. He will be a seasoned liar. AQUINO MUTALE, grow up….and state facts as they are that YOU WERE FIRE, you cant run away from the truth. You Stupid hungry youth.

  6. I thought NAREP has a constitution which regulates every member regardless of their position? No so good for a party that has a better opportunity of being a genuine altenative.

  7. Ala mwebantu!!! Those who are calling for Aquino to join your parties just stop that thought. The boy is nothing. You will be shocked if you see him. He will just disappoint your parties this grade 2. That’s why Chipimo chased the boy from NAREP. Find time and dig deeper.

  8. A political party that “only has one face, one voice” He is so right, What is NAREP if we remove Chipimo. There is no ideology just another political party with a very similar PF structure. Move on Aquino – You are bright and your political future is just as bright..

  9. Hilarious! Chipimo looks like a stubborn piece o schtick. Nobody can work with this guy. This is just the beginning.

  10. How can anyone in their right senses advise anybody else to join a party of hoodlums bent on destruction and mayhem and that is UPND, the party of ‘mapatizya formular’?

  11. Am disappointed with this Aquino kid. At his age, he is lying to the nation…..what do we expect from him 20 yrs from now. He will be a seasoned liar. AQUINO MUTALE, grow up….and state facts as they are that YOU WERE FIRED!!!!, you cant run away from the truth. You Stupid hungry youth.

  12. The Brazilian tour was very revealing. NAREP has proved to be genetically and mathematically a subset of the PF. We are watching Mutale’s move with keen interest.

  13. Another of Kabimba’s tricks!!! After frustrating Lubinda, who is obviously with most potential for PF to succeed, the guy has now turned on NAREP, recruited a disgruntled, fired chap, to his bandwagon, to again derail/frustrate those he see’s as possible political foes when he hopes to take over from KingCob!! WE ARE WATCHING YOU!!!

  14. Gentlemen lets learn to say the truth. Mr mutale my bro from the look of things you have found political greener pasture therefore just thank the part you are leaving NAREP for according you chance of working with them consequently getting national recognition on political scene.

  15. We hope it is not ‘if you can’t beat them, join them’. My opinion Mr Mutale is that you could have stayed and fought the injustices you are now bringing out. Let’s hope there is no carrot in all this.

  16. Comrade i know you are going back to PF, but i wish you could reflect more and give it time before you make your next move.. just saying

  17. Who cares who Chipimo is, unless you are bemba. Already the rest of the country knows that sata and chipimo are birds of the same feather….the only way chipimo can win presidency is by cutting off luapula, northern, and muchinga provinces into a separate country. if bembas can’t vote for a person from another province while at the same time insisting that zambia remains united, then they will be given a taste of their own medicine. If you think i’m joking just find out from nervers mumba (mmd president) the amount of negative reception is getting from the majority of provinces….there is no way mmd will win elections with a bemba at the top – unless we want to risk a civil war, which atrthe rate things are going right now I can tell you that some people are willing to kick it off!

    • @ROOTKIT – I agree that you are saying 4 fingers pointing at me! But the point still stands. I mean, I’m not saying what I’m saying is the only truth, I’m merely expressing my opinion and observations from talking to people in general. That sentiment is there and it doesn’t mean expressing it makes me a tribal person. I’m a half-cast (2 tribes) myself…but facts are facts. Chipimo right now can only be voted for in his home regions and by his fellow homeboys….even bemba women don’t trust him! Here is mutale leaving him….and what mutale is saying about Chipimo is true…but people from other provinces already saw that about chipimo as soon as he announced his party. However, most bembas see chipimo as sata’s successor, on tribal basis. Get my point?!!! But he has no chance!

    • Why blame bembas if you are not politically savvy??? Show your political prowess – complaining will take you nowhere!! what do you want bembas to do?? Form a party then ask you to lead??

    • @ BOXALE —- I was not talking about bembas. I was talking about chipimo. If you can’t read my underlying message, that is not my problem .The problem with most of you is that whenever somebody expresses an opinion, he is either complaining or he is jealous. No wonder sata is such a dictator. It seems that is the only type of governance you know about… there is even no point continuing on this. End of discussion.
