Nkana Bring Warriors Down to Earth

Share

Nkana opened their refurbished home in grand style with a 4-0 win over Kabwe Warriors on Sunday at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

Warriors it seems were clearly fatigued after playing a grueling three successive games since Thursday heading into Sundays final game against Nkana.

Reynold Kampamba put Nkana ahead in the 22nd minute with a close-range shot from a Chakwa Lungu assist.

Lungu added a brace in the 44th and 47th minutes before Festus Mbewe made wrapped up Nkana’s first game back home in a year from six-yards out.

Nkana now get ready for their opening league game on Saturday when they host Roan United at the same venue.

Warriors on the other hand head home to plan for their big opener when they welcome Zesco United at “Ucar” Stadium.

  5. THE RESULT WAS BECAUSE OF THE NEW LOOK SCORE BOARD AT NKANA. WE WERE USED TO SCORING SUCH NUMBER OF GOALS IN ONE MATCH DURING OUR DAYS AND BELIEVE ME, NKANA HAS ONCE AGAIN FOUND THE WINNING FORMULAR BEST KNOWN FOR.2013 MORE GOALS IN FAVOUR OF NKANA. THAT WAS JUST A WARNING [ WATCH OUT ].
