Power Dynamos coach Beston Chambeshi has described Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Peter Kaumba’s Napsa Stars as a sweet win.
Power, who last won on 16th March prior to Saturday, ended a five-match winless streak with a hard-fought victory thanks to goals from midfielder Julius Situmbeko and winger Simon Bwalya.
In a postmatch interview, Chambeshi said the FAZ Super Division Week Six win was a motivation to the team.
“It’s a sweet win, it’s a good victory. It’s a morale booster to the players and the supporters,” he said at Arthur Davies Stadium.
“I think we have now come out of the bad patch. The boys put up a good performance.
“I am happy with the way the boys reacted. It was not an easy game,” Chambeshi added.
Napsa coach Kaumba said:” We conceded two silly goals and we didn’t take our chances like Power did.
“We performed well but we didn’t take our chances. We have to go back in training and improve.”
Napsa have recorded four losses, one win and a victory so far in the league.
