Wanderers thank Nkana for giving them refuge

Mufulira Wanderers have expressed gratitude to Nkana Football Club for allowing them to use Nkana Stadium for their home games after FAZ banned Mighty from playing in Mufulira.

FAZ has handed Mighty a four-match home ban after its supporters poured Chibuku on the assitant referee during their home Division One North match against Nkwiza on 20 April.

FAZ has further awarded three points to Nkwiza who were leading 1-0 when Kalulushi referee Abiud Lungu abandoned the Week Five match at Damiano Grounds in Mufulira.

In an interview, Wanderers secretary Fernando Bwalya told Radio Icengelo Sports today that begining this Sunday Wanderers will be using Nkana Stadium.

Bwalya warned Wanderers against taking violence to Nkana Stadium.

He stated that supporters must learn to cheer their team in peace.

Mighty face Chambishi in the Week Ten match this Sunday at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.

Wanderers are fifth from the bottom of the table with seven points in nine matches.
