Coach Herve Renard has included suspended keeper Kennedy Mweene in his 25-member Chipolopolo squad to face Lesotho in the June 8, 2014 World Cup qualifier in Ndola.
Mweene will miss Zambia’s 2014 World Cup Group D qualifier against Lesotho at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium after he was red cared in the first leg that ended 1-1 in Maseru on March 24.
However, the South Africa based goal-minder is eligible to feature in the 15 June, World Cup qualifier against Sudan at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
Renard has recalled James Chamanga, Noah Chivuta and Jacob Mulenga, who missed the match in Maseru.
The Frenchman has further named 10 players from the local front, who include three goalkeepers Danny Munyau, Rabson Muchelegenga and Davy Kaumbwa.
The squad is scheduled to enter camp in Ndola on Monday evening and will commence training on Tuesday at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

I am firstly recommending Herve Renard for the good selection. However, i also want to bring this to his attention, goalkeepers are many could you please withdraw one and recall Felix Katongo. The changing of system of playing especially in front will help striking power to achieve the goals. We are only waiting for a win and be aware that Ghana has many goals.
How come there is no player from Kalampa Nkana, the current league leaders, who has made it into the national team?

If the No. 1 GK Kennedy Mweene is not eligible to play in the June 08th match why not call him into camp after that. Its paramount that a manager shows faith in reserve goalkeepers as well to promote their self confidence.
At Jay,mweene is playing on 15 th june so he must keep on training as the camp won’t break after lesotho game no wonder he is there

@ Jay mweene is an experienced and vital member of the team, he is needed , his experience is as good as a goal keeper coach to help Davies Phiri train upcoming ones. Remember, Becham was included at the World Cup when he suddenly got injured to just sit on bench and advise, this is for administrative and mentle purposes.
