Blades hire Chambeshi

Sports Blades hire Chambeshi

Beston Chambeshi has been named head coach of FAZ Super Division side Konkola Blades.

Chambeshi confirmed his appointment on Saturday afternoon.

He has been handed a two-year contract by the Chililabombwe side.

“I have gone to Konkola, I started work on Thursday.

“I have been given a two-year contract,” Chambeshi revealed.

The Nkana legend takes over from Enos Silwimba who has been dropped to the role of assistant.

Chambeshi was fired by Power Dynamos last June.

Meanwhile, Chambeshi is early next week scheduled to appoint another assistant coach.

Konkola are in the bottom half of the Super Division table on 16 points after 14 matches.

  1. Lumwana Radiants was playing the galant Kalampa Nkana Red Devils in Lumwana today the 13/07/2013. It was really a nice game and Division 2 North leaders Lumwans Radiants put up a splendid performance and lost 2 – 1 to the Premier League leaders mighty Nkana. Continue with the hard work Lumwana.

  2. Congrats Beston, this time around have a firm grip on the team and take total control. When you become soft like you were at Power and things don’t work out well at the club, the blame will come on you. From inception, put your foot down and be in charge. Wish you all the best my man.
