Mukosa wins Fringilla Rally

Monze based driver Ken Mukosa on Sunday scooped the Fringilla rally to extend his lead at the top of the Zambia National Rally Championship.

Driving a Subaru Impreza N 8, Mukosa clocked one hour, six minutes, one second to beat his closest rival Mohammed Essa.

Essa, who is the reigning African Rally Champion, finished the Fringilla rally three minutes, sixteen seconds behind Mukosa.

Mukosa leads the national championship on 42 points with two rallies left before the end of the season.

Essa is second on 22 points followed by third placed Jassy Singh who has 20 points.

The next rally championship will be on 1st September at Dave Gordon Farm.
