Dependable Warriors striker Tendai Ndoro will miss Saturday’s crucial 2014 CHAN qualifier against Zambia in Ndola after sneaking out of Zimbabwe to attend trials.
Ndoro of Chicken Inn left Zimbabwe earlier this week after Sunday’s scoreless draw in the first leg match of the 2014 CHAN qualifying round.
He is the leading scorer in the local league with 12 goals so far this term.
Warriors coach Ian Gorowa has since replaced Ndoro with FC Platinum’s Donald Ngoma.
Meanwhile, Zimbabwe skipper Masimba Mambare is a doubt for the match at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium after picking up a knee injury during Thursday’s training session.
“The injury is obviously worrisome especially at this stage and ahead of such a crucial encounter but I must stress that it’s not major although the doctors will give us their final assessment,” Zimbabwe assistant manager Patrick Mutesva told the local media.
