Nkana coach Masauso Mwale says they are not panicking that the title will be decided on the last day of the season.
The 11-time champions drew 1-1 away in a riveting derby clash at Power Dynamos to send the title chase to the last day of the season.
That result was exacerbated by second placed Zesco United’s 3-2 win over Zanaco to see the Ndola side cut Nkana’s lead from four to two points.
“It (The draw) hasn’t complicated anything we are still on course,” Mwale said.
“We have a game to play against Arrows so I think we are on course.”
Mwale added that they will not count on Nchanga Rangers to beat Zesco when the latter travel to Chingola to play the former this weekend in Week 30.
“It doesn’t put pressure on us we have to win our own game to play. We have to work hard and win the game,” Mwale said.
A draw for Nkana against arrows and an away victory for Zesco at Nchanga will see the Ndola club win the title on a superior goal difference.
Nkana, who are chasing an unprecedented 12th title and their first since 2001, have not left the top two bracket of the FAZ Super Division table since the start of the season.
That’s exactly what Nkana needs to do. But it easier said than done….

I have watched all Nkana games on the copperblet since the beggining of the season, so I can be sturbon for Nkana, yes, but I am not being simplistic. It is not a fluke that we are where we are!!!!
Munthali cost Nkana’s game by giving away a ball infact he shouldn’t have played because he was a Dynamos player and almost concided another goal.
