  1. Yet another waste of resource by FAZ, Why can these guys go on a recruitment exercise like the did in 1994. That team was a country search and it went all the way to the finals after beating teams like Ivory Coast, Mali etc…

    • They have been invited, which resources are they wasting? Are u this ignorant? Even when they played Brazil and Egypt all expenses were paid for but u chaps keep saying they are wasting our money!! Start supporting Malawi or Jordan if u want… As for me its Chipolopolo and MAN UTD come wat may!!

    • That is a wrong tournament…. Look at those countries, full of labels, war-lords, terrorists, pirates. What a troubled region!! it fits the PF, Sata & Kabimba, they can make friends there, not in COSAFA.

    • @ Nostradamus,
This might actually be Zambia killing Two birds with one stone….. Terrorists, warlords might sideline Zambia as a target at the same time our soccer team is being kept busy which is what is need if we have to improve, remember Sudan and Ethiopia are quiet good teams besides practice makes perfect we dont need lazy bones!

    • We have to keep our players busy ! I am in total support of our team playing as many games as possible ! It will also expose more players to international football ! By the way Nostradamus , what are “labels” ? And I hear a ” tellalist ” is a person who sews clothes !

    • misconception.zambia is a guest team.logistics are provided by the CECAFA organisers.you only know about politics not sports.

    • But ba PF you are out on me!! already -12points?, and still counting.
You thugs mwalikalipa, I think if was near you, you could have come out with your pangas and chains. Even spelling sure you have to call for Komaki and Chikwelelete? I hope you take them to CECAFA, you need such bad-guys to protect abana Bruce Musakanya.

    • So you chaps mean to say when you invited, u will just be carried like a hand bag from yo country and that’s it…Think like a grand master.

  2. What an opportune time if only we would have gone there with a proper coach & not this Patrice ‘Bomola”. Do we really need to carry pangas, machetes & coffins to match to Football house in disgust to show that we’re not happy with the current performance of the national team & RECRUITMENT of a proper coach is a MUST!!!

    • Please Kalu listern for once… Do’nt be like MCS who is hoping that the problems will solve themselves in PF….It is exactly the same with FAZ…We need a football coach not a PE teacher please…Please Kalu, money for football in Zambia is not a problem. We can hire the best in the world…..No doubt….The problem is Kalusha’s agenda….Lwisha umwaiche alitemwa mula yapa side!!!!

  3. cycle mata is such a dull and useful ***** just like his namesake, cant u understand the word “invitation” guest team…………………….

  4. Let faz look for aproper coach mbemunda is not acoach. selection of ateam should go wide not just the same crop of players, we need new faces and skill.

  5. Zambians take it easy. How many times are we going to be firing coaches? Its high time we maintained the coach and disband the team.

  6. Maybe Zambia might get into the knock-out stage. anything more would be expecting too much from the physical trainer. Kwena tuli fipuba, a useless coach resigns and we skip the Assit Coach coz he is Zambian and get the physical trainer to take over. What a waste!!

  7. Are there no good players at mufulira Blackpool, Ndola United, city of Lusaka, ”Mighty’, Kawale boys. These players are in division one league, train on good pitches and then we cheat ourselves to make a national team U-20 or other to select players from academies training on bare back yard pitches…come on FAZ wake up.

  8. We have played 3 games without a goal & allowed 5.which simply mean the team is not okay together with the coaching stuff.

    • Ba Kalu! This coach will take us nowhere…What is your problem? The GOVT of Zambia is ready to pay a quality coach and you will be allowed to retain your PE Teacher….Quality coach before 2015 please…..Hon Kambwili agrees with me.

  9. Let FAZ use this tournament to either confirm or chase the acting coach. If he can win the tournament… then only should FAZ consider giving him the job.

  10. Country men let’s be realistic, playing friendly matches & loosing them will not help us in any way.more over, even these other teams are using these games as preps & they are winning.why can’t we do the same.Think twice soccer lovers, ever since we won the afcon our football startands has gone down.cecafa is coming u will prove me right.

  11. Very good move for our team however Ba Kalu talk to the Government so that they discuss with friends from Germany and the samba boys to give us a quality coach not the one we have the wise one has spoken.

  12. Seriously someone can write ‘labels’ when they are referring to ‘rebels’ and judging by the flag this person is based in the USA. What a shame! Instead of spending time blogging some of you people must concentrate on English classes because to make such mistakes is just inexcusable. Problem nima private schools in Zambia such as Leopards Hill fimo fimo which produce half baked graduates who are just chongololos. Do not come on these blogs to embarrass yourselves like this and even giving yourselves sophisticated pseudonyms for nothing as it is getting to annoying levels now . Better you type in Microsoft Word and the software will automatically underline a word it does not recognize then you can copy and paste. Go to Kenyan blogs and see how people there write proper chizungu.

  13. For the benefit of people like Loston Mwansa above there is a difference between loose and lose. Loose is untying your shoes but to lose is to get beaten by Egypt in a soccer game. A lot of bloggers confuse these two simple words but will hide under the guise that it is the ‘Queen’s language’. Need I remind you that English is the official language of Zambia?

  14. FAZ please give Patrice an objective to qualify the team to the knockout stages.if he fails,he is fired as simple as that.Otherwise I see a disastrous outing for Zambia.

  15. Group A: Kenya, Ethiopia, Zanzibar, South Sudan
Group B: Tanzania, Zambia, Burundi, Somalia
Group C: Uganda, Rwanda, Sudan, Eritrea

According to the draws conducted in Nairobi on Friday morning, Zambia is in Group C alongside Burundi, Somalia and Tanzania.

Now in which group is Zambia? Is it B or C?

  16. @ Nstradamus, don’t compare Zambia to Kenya. I am Zambian but I tell you ; Kenya is a better country than Zambia. Get there. You might not even want to come back to Zambia. We get back just for the love of our country. Stay blessed.
