Ex-Power Dynamos star Zifa Nkhoma believes Nkana’s FAZ Super League triumph in 2013 would motivate the Arthur Davies side to up their game in the 2014 season.
Power finished eighth on the table after spending most of the season flirting with relegation.
On the other hand, Nkana won their 12th league title after a 12-year-long drought in which the club suffered demotion twice.
Nkhoma says Nkana’s league glory was a challenge to their Kitwe rivals Power.
“It will motivate Power because they too should aspire to play continental football in 2015,” he said.
“Next season I am expecting Power to win the league,” the ex-defender said.
Nkhoma added:” Power will improve because most of the players are young and just need to unity.”
Power were runners-up in the 2012 FAZ Super League campaign before enduring a forgettable 2013 season.
