Hector Chilombo has confirmed his appointment as new Napsa Stars head coach.
Chilombo says he has signed a two year contract with the FAZ Super League club.
He takes over the hot seat from Peter Kaumba – who was fired by Napsa late in the 2013 season.
Chilombo was until his appointment head coach of now demoted Forest Rangers.
“It is a two year contract. I am happy I have been given this job. I know a lot of people applied and management had confidence in me,” he said.
Chilombo has set a high target at Napsa.
“We have agreed with management and the coaching staff we have to aim at the top two or if the going is tougher at least top four,” he said.
Chilombo quit Forest five months into his one and a half year contract at Dolla Hill.
It’s a good appointment. He has come home. He played for them as a footballer.Worked for ZNPF/NAPSA some years ago.

Hector Chilombo is a very qualified coach. Was at Forest, Power, City, Under 20/2 played for the senior national team. Was a Profund Warriors central Defender.Went to Leeds for his coaching course plus other CAF Classes. Give him chance
