THE Patriotic Front in Northern Province has said it will expel all suspended party officials issuing media statements while claiming to be bonafide party functionaries.

This comes after a group of suspended officials made disparaging against Vice President Guy Scott for daring for Kasama Central Member of Parliament Geoffrey Mwamba to leave the party.

This follows several statements by made by suspended officials like Carlos Ngoma who claimed to be a PF youth coordinator for Mbala and Mpulungu districts who said Dr Scott was wrong to call for Mr Mwamba’s resignation from the party.

PF provincial secretary Everest Chela threatened Mr Ngoma and other officials that were using the name of the party to issue disparaging remarks about its leadership with expulsion.

“Ngoma has been serving an indefinite suspension from June last year. Why should he and other purport to be speaking on behalf of the party when there suspension letters clearly stipulate that they cannot do so until their cases are heard by the disciplinary committee?” Mr Chela asked.

He also brushed aside comments attributed to Nathan Ilunga who said the Vice president had no business commenting about Mr Mwamba.

“Mr Ilunga is not a functionary of the party and is unqualified to talk about issues concerning the party,” Mr Chela said.

    • he grabbed it from his ——great grand father.

I think, the best thing is for the President to talk in private with Mr. GBM to clear their differences and we should just reconstitute the provincial Team in Northern.

  1. I have tried reading this article several times and its failing to make sense to me. My eyes and my mind keep wondering to the picture and that alleged ‘blue suit’!

  2. This is a clear case of property grabbing! Obviously he did not buy the suit for himself. The owner is deceased, I am earnestly requesting the security wings to investigate this matter.
