We are happy we recalled President Sata from his holiday but he should retire his imprest-HH

Opposition UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema says his party is proud to have become the first opposition party in the history of Zambia to recall a sitting Head of State from holiday.

Addressing a media briefing in Lusaka Sunday morning, Mr Hichilema said the UPND has gone into history as the first opposition party to compel the Republican President to cut short his holiday.

Mr Hichilema also demanded that Mr Sata should retire his imprest since only spent seven days of his 14 day holiday.

“We know that the President and his entourage received imprest for 14 days. Since they cut short the so called working holiday, we demand to see proof that he and his entourage have retired imprest,” Mr Hichilema said.

He added, “The matter of retiring imprest borders on accountability and prudent use of public resources. Yes he cut short the holiday but we want to see him retire the rest of the imprest. We could use that money to get some drugs in our hospitals or help reduce the price of Mealie meal.”

Mr Hichilema also announced a number of demands as part of conditions towards the UPND buying a first class ticket for President Sata to fly to India.

“For the President to cut short his so called working holiday with ease when prodded as to what he was doing outside the country is a clear indication that he had no serious programmes to attend to there. In other words he was idling out there, wasting public resources, when Zambians needed him to attend to the many challenges at home created by his poor leadership, including lack of prioritization in public resource usage,” he said.

He added, “For whatever reason, Mr. Sata and his handlers believe that I owe him a ticket to India. Our definitive response on this matter is that Mr. Sata’s request for an air ticket to India may only be considered if he meets these conditions, Deliver a people driven constitution to Zambians through a referendum before the end of 2014, reduce the price of Mealie meal since most of our people cannot afford the commodity and re -instate the fuel subsidy in order to help reduce the cost of living for the many suffering Zambians.

Mr Hichilema said, “we also want him to deliver jobs to the youth and many unemployed Zambians who Mr. Sata lied to during the 2011 elections campaigns, re-instate all students expelled and cease court cases involving those who demonstrated over the constitution, re-instate unconditionally all nurses, midwives and other health workers fired by presidential decree for reminding Mr. Sata to fulfill his campaign promise of higher pay to workers and in liaison with the Congolese authorities, immediately bring to an end the killing of truck drivers at the Kasumbalesa border post.

The UPND also demanded that President Sata introduces windfall tax or its equivalent and stop the reckless borrowing especially when most of these loans are for consumption and not investment to save Zambia from building another debt mountain which will be difficult to dismantle.

He added, “ we want President Sata to repeal the draconian NGO ACT and replace it with one agreed upon by relevant stakeholders including NGOs and civil society(CSOs), remove Justice Chibesakunda from the position of acting chief justice because she failed the required Parliamentary ratification process to serve as Chief Justice. This will help restore public confidence and integrity in the judiciary.”

“As UPND it is our well-considered view that Justice Chibesakunda has over stayed acting in that crucial position which mirrors our justice system, we also want him to fulfill the many other campaign promises upon which PF and Mr. Sata were elected into office i.e. free education, clean water supply, ending electricity blackouts, media freedoms, rule of law, repeal of public order Act, restoration of Barotseland agreement.”

Mr Hichilema said Mr. Sata should know that being a public officer imposes an obligation on one to serve not only friends and relatives but the whole country.

“If he fails to fulfill the above conditions, he does not deserve his high salary and other subsidies he is getting from the people of Zambia, let alone an air ticket to India from me,” he said.

On the matter of illness, Mr Hichilema said the UPND does not wish Mr Sata ill health.

“As a matter of clarity, to be sick is normal and is human. No one should get too sensitive and emotional about it especially when one is a public servant. It is on record that Mr. Sata and some of his friends used to mock the late President Mwanawasa, Vice President George Kunda and Mr. Anderson Mazoka when they were unwell. Mr. Sata even called for a medical board to examine the health of the then sitting President Mwanawasa. He called the late George Kunda red lips, to mention just a few examples. This is sad and unacceptable in a civilized society,” he said.

Mr Hichilema said, “I and the UPND do not want to join Mr. Sata in this kind of behaviour which he is commonly known for.”

“As a matter of record the following is a summary of what transpired at our last press briefing at the UPND secretariat .This illness issue came via a question from a journalist as to what my comments were on the speculation that Statehouse was not being sincere to the public on whether or not Mr. Sata was unwell and his whereabouts (London or India for treatment after Addis Ababa).”

“In response I asked Statehouse to clear the air on the whereabouts of the president and definitively state whether or not the President was unwell given that the President is a public asset or liability. We also indicated that if the president was unwell, then Zambians should pray for his quick recovery and we wished him well for him to govern up to 2016. Further, we indicated that we as UPND would like to defeat him at the 2016 elections given his failure to meet many of his campaign promises and overall poor governance of the PF. We believe that the above summary closes this subject which in our view is aimed at diverting the attention of Zambians from demanding for a people driven constitution.”

    • HH has taken on the shoes of the late Chama Chakomboka. No seriousness at all. Ati future president of Zambia. What a joke.

    • Chela and Mmembe pleases let the president tell the nation that he is unwell so that he can get respite from criticism. No one can force him to stand down if does not want to because our constitution is totally blank on such issues. The sooner he tells the nation the truth about his health the better so that people start praying for him and give time to recover in peace.

If the president dies out of stress accelerated illness, Chela and Mmembe will be to blame because they are busy misinforming the nation about his poor health.

    • How on can the whole president allow himself to be ridiculed by the nation at large by abandoning investor wooing mission in favour of a first class ticket to India.

The whole move is highly suspicious. What chela said on behalf of the president insinuated that Sata behaves like a child now. Instead wooing investors to come help revamp our economy, he has opted for a first class ticket to India. Why?

Any way lets not worry too much as the truth will be told the day Mmembe will longer be in good books with the PF.

    • SATA HAS REALLY BECOME ERRATIC AND PADENTIC. AND THE SO CALLED BLIND SUPPORTERS AND CADRES, SHOW US PHOTOS OF HIM TALKING TO INVESTORS IN UK BECAUSE YOU SHOWED US IN ETHIOPIA BUT AFTER ETHIOPIA, ALL WENT BLANK- SATA IS SICK AND IS HIDING HIS SICKNESS. THE BEMBA HAS AN EXPRESSION THAT YOU CANT HIDE A PREGNANCY, SURELY, ONE DAY IT WILL SHOW.

    • curiously and anxiously waiting for this weeks sensationalised dramatisch events on the Blog world in Zambia! By the way, is that GBM sitted on the left hand side of HH?

    • @Nigger,
What is childish in these facts listed by HH? This is about accountability and leading by example. For instance look at how the the presidential challenger is being used and where is it right now?
I take it you are blogging from the USA, Obama does not use the Air Force One like a personal bicycle.

    • HH HAS A SERIOUS PROBLEM OF JEALOUSY AND ENVY. ASPIRING PRESIDENT? POLITICALLY, HE’S A BIG FAILURE. ELECTIONS WERE DONE A LONG TIME AGO BUT STILL HE CAN’T DEAL WITH HIS MISTAKES OF DIVORCING HIMSELF FROM PF WHERE HE COULD HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY OF AT LEAST BEING A DIPLOMAT. MWAICE, DEAL WITH YOUR ELECTION DISAPPOINTMENTS AND THE EARLIER THE BETTER. DESPITE YOUR MONEY YOU STILL COME OUT LIKE A BIG VILLAGE BUMPKIN FUUL. WHAT A SHAME!

    • @Ndobo, why are police “looking” for GBM. How can such a figure hide, they know where he lives. GBM can’t hide like Sata tried to.
HH forgot to demand for the cost of fuel and personnel on the abandoned Presidential jet. How can a jet fly empty from Dubai? Then a man decide to pay second-class ticket on Emirates?

    • Childish indeed, even if the demands are of political interest, or say public consumption, which one will his excellence listen to, surly, UPND-HH is being childish. he and his party show that they are not (totally not able to make priority in there demands, if anything, Under five HH is blaming PF for luck of priority on national issues, is he making priority on his scattered demands?

This is already Chimbwi No Plan indicating that he is Chimbwi————-No plan.

    • Come 2016, the masses are kicking out of state house those jokers who are just there for personal gain. State house and the presidency has been reduced to nothing under Sata. We are a laughing stock internationally. As a diplomat I am asked all the time about the kind of president we have who was even recently described as “unique” among the many presidents of substance.

    • Yaba! HH is really childish. I cant understand what does on in hs mind of all important issues to discuss this is the best he can do? And he considrrs himself republican president in waiting?

    • HH is a real saddist.

Now suppose he were to die before Sata?

I am not a defender of Sata but can HH advisors justify this mans position on Sata’s perceived illness? where do politics come in?

By the way, does Sata have blood relatives…apart from state security?

    • Wish this *****ic kid could for once tame his beak. Assuming he becomes the president in 2056 one can only imagine the number of press conferences the tongas shall be having.

    • Nigger run run before you are lynched in that place which is not safe for a person aptly named by your inferiorised and compromised brain.

    • @Nigger. It’s based on good practices and retiring imprest is one of them. No one is above the law baba. If we put the rule of law first everything will be put in place in terms of development.

    • @Niger
you know what man?… during PF/UPND pact HH was a darling and had a `insulting` partner against RB

When i ndobo talked against the unholly gang and `insults` against older people as per zambian culture,,, Sata, mmembe and everyone else were saying “umwaiche HH alanda ichishinka`.
well I think even now HH umwaiche is still saying ichishinka,, so dont judge HH understand what he is saying

    • First of all Sata need to declare WHY he terminated his vacation. Money is not important at this moment. And why Sata came undressed, a president dressed worse than a deputy minister?
I will not be surprised that Sata was deported, the way his ministers where saddened?? Something big is going on, I wouldn’t even want to hear it from ka Chellar, I want Minister of Foreign Affairs to disclose what transpired on their “vacation”.

    • Peter, do you really think this man, HH, is really looking for a job?
From my reading of the situation HH is not looking for a job. I am not saying you should like or praise the man, HH, but I think you should raise the standard of your comments to match what the man is saying. That is all I wanted to say.

  1. Ouch. Sting of salt in wound. Is it too much to request that statehouse use a diplomatic speech editor in their response this time… It will be amusing either way. Naughty HH. You’ve got your swag on but enquiring minds are curious for answers that don’t resemble the ‘shut up, st**id id**t’ of KK era politics… Over to you Mister Prez. Where were you? And it’s people of all persuasions that want to know so don’t politicise your response. A healthy dose of truth might be all we need…

    • @ A Phiri ana bwe, couldn’t agree with you more.

Accountability, accountability, accountability, especially when it comes to using public funds!

To those who always applaud the president even when he is in the wrong, what do you see in him?

Give credit where it is due, HH is doing a good job. Just come to think about it, what would the president and his ‘PF entourage’ be doing had he (HH) been quiet on a number of issues that would affect us in the long term?

  2. I am not a politician but I justvwqjtvto say that let us unit and talk about developmental issues. We stop attacking each other. This in itself is very unhealth. Leadershio of a country is not about competition. Its God given.so I ask all leader’s in Govert now and opposition to preach what is health. If one did say such It is not interested that we hear about it.

  3. Who says HH is a politician? This little man is just a cow dung. Who doesn`t know that his head is confused because of cow poofs. Abantu abengi abekala nangu ukuchema in`gombe for a very long time imitwe ilashinguluka kumulandu wa fisushi fya n`gombe.
So just know that this guy is a lunatic.

    • mwana, just know that you are the lunatic. you point one finger at someone, the remaining four fingers are pointing at you saying you are four times worse. you have exhibited your utmost 1diocy.

    • I also agree that looking after cattle for a long time does adjust your cognitive levels. The brain adjusts to what?? I used to herd cattle before I was enrolled into Grade 1 and continued — up to University. I still used to herd cattle during semester breaks from UNZA and even after completing my post graduate degree in Europe I still used to spend time with cattle herders whenever I visited the village. I just love the smell of cattle and goats. To us who grew up in rural parts of North Western, Western, Southern and Eastern provinces, cattle is wealth and is highly valued. So HH, do not worry, my countryman, we share the same insults from those who hate cattle keepers/herders but love to eat the beef. Let us keep more cattle and let our children smell the same and be hated.

  4. Ethics HH, ethics! The man deserves to be in an intensive care unit of a world class hospital, albeit at whose expense?

  5. Zambian politics at is lowest. Wanzelu your contributions are full hate, envy and self centred ness. I don’t which part of UK you live in. Sata remains the president of Zambia and possibly 2016 he will be elected if God says so. Therefore, let’s preach peace, love and togetherness.

    • you know what man?… during PF/UPND pact HH was a darling and had a `insulting` partner against RB

  6. Zambian politics at is lowest. Wanzelu your contributions are full of hate, envy and self centred ness. I don’t which part of UK you live in. Sata remains the president of Zambia and possibly 2016 he will be elected if God says so. Therefore, let’s preach peace, love and togetherness.

    • “@Wanzelu” President Sata’s response to HH’s childish rantings is, in simple terms Sarcasm. Functional illiterates are so one dimensional in thinking. God help us

    • @Pafwenamwine @Nigger of Nagasaki

You two guy s chill and answer the questions HH and I are raising on behalf the nation.

Typical of PF cadres, when the truth hits them they either scream tribalism or engage in personal attacks instead of addressing the issues raised. Uchimbwi weka weka chabe.

If you insist pushing your lucky on me, I will tell something that will make you smash your computers in rage. Mwachepa kwambili imwe afisi.

So just chill for now and digest my comments carefully.

  7. What about the investors he was addressing? when will they becoming? How many meeting did the president hold with investors?.

    • There are investors he was addressing. Its just Mmembe and Chelas’ cheap and stupid political spin to make fun of Sata. Sata was busy chatting up the nurses who were looking after him India. Maybe in his mind those are investors. He wants them to come to Zambia look after him to avoid having to travel all the way to India.

    • British Investors cannot invest in Zambia relying on SataN’s lies!! UK Investors know the political risk is too high with PF in power in Zambia!
The commercial environment is also risky with SataN fighting everyone including chiefs like Chitimukulu; Teaching of Bemba everywhere; Hiding of the Constitution; etc. All those protests by NGOs like Action Aid count in the eyes of the Investor – so who can risk their money on Zambia? May be the Chinese who are naive and dont even uderstand Business either!

  8. Well said Mr HH, and we wish you the best of luck in both your business dealings and political career. Multiply your money and please, my brother, be the first true Zambian billionaire. A true Tonga warrior and, might I remind you, that is, if you will ready this post that you are a shinning sign of equality among forward thinking people. Please, continue pounding this useless aging snake, Sata. Once more, we all wish you the young fella the best of luck.

  9. HH IS A CRAZY YOUNG MAN! HE IS NOT SERIOUS!

A MATURE POLITICIAN WOULD ADDRESS CURRENT ISSUES LIKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT BY PF OF SATA’S PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATURE IN 2016!

MARK MY WORD: WHEN ALL THE INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS, AIRPORTS, ROADS, UNIVERSITIES, BRIDGES ETC ARE DONE, THE FELLOW WILL HAVE NO POLITICAL TOPICS LEFT TO ENGAGE PF ON IN 2016.

    • @LUAPULA
hahahahahahahaha………….. let me now shout the way you do, IT IS NOT HH’S BUSINESS TO TALK ABOUT INTERNAL MATTERS OF PF. THE ISSUES HE HAS RAISED ARE THE ONES THAT CONCERN US ALL. LET THE PRESIDO ANSWER WITH A LEVEL HEAD

    • Luapula Premier – U definately are not from Luapula and please stop mis-using my origin provinces name.

Please learn when to and when not use the caps lock key.

    • @old rugs,

Ignore this IDI0T, he is not worth wasting time on.

HH addressed THE ISSUES but this F00L does not have enough brains to see that.

He is so STUPlD he cannot even find the caps lock on his computer, so what is the point of debating him?

    • Iwe if you want HH and UPND’s policies go read his manifesto. All what he says is wrong about this government are the bad things he will avoid in his government. In short thats a snipped of his manifesto.

    • You are right, infact, he is not being critical, but being rubbish and under 5 childish because he has 100 statements, none of them make sense. fir instance, which demand can you makes sense from all his press statement.

  10. HH, it is day dreaming that you can recall the President. Under five politician please learn from Zimbabwe and one of the Zambian values is love and truth. It is during the time of sickness that Zambians unity and work together.
Mark my words if you and UNPD do not change on the illness of President Sata then soon and very soon you will be spent grain. Learn from Elder Daniel Munkombwe, the man is full of wisdom.

  11. In today’s edition of the Post GBM has warned that should he be expelled from the party he will expose and reveal the shady activities of the PF leadership that will condemn them to go through what RB is going through.
The PF are in a mess for the plunder of resources.

    • UBUFI! I have a copy of The Post news paper and the issue is about GBM calling himself a god as in Psalm 82:6.
      Stop being such liars!

    • @mundiaM,
I feel sorry for you for your poor reading skills, maybe you have what they call learning disabilities.
Once again I ask you to go back to yesterday’s Post Online and look carefully for story headlined ”GBM DARES PF TO EXPEL HIM” and go down to paragraph 4 and you will find the section I quoted in my posting.
You call me a liar, that’s fine and I hope you will continue reading Psalm 82:6 with clearer understanding.

  12. HH is like a small baboon in a jungle where he simply cant accept that the lion is ruling. He’s a hopeless immature under 5 who’s better off milking cows at the farm

    • @No way,
It’s not surprising that you seem to know more about small baboons, maybe monkeys because you look like one of them plundering the maize field.
I am sorry that you look down upon people milking cows and I feel sorry for you because where you originate from you have no cows, no dairy or beef industry but monkeys and more monkeys. Milking cows is done all over the world, it’s part of civilization.

  13. Luapula we had stractures way before Sata was president. We will be foolish if we vote
Based on structures because real issues like the ones raised by HH directly affect us than structures, jobs, healthcare, inflation, lawlessness, Mark my words PF can sweep
2016 if they concentrated on those than structures which will crumble by the time we get
    To 2016

    • Please start understanding sacarcism, no wonder you are now responding and giving conditions to sarcarcism.
      That is seriosuly being dense!

  14. HH will be choked with envy, bwana i cn assure u Michael is enjoying a good health even better than most of u.HH don’t talk too much about yo friend’s health when we don’t even know your HIV status.Ala tusekanafye.

  15. I have always skipped comments by Wanzelu, Tumbuka Pride, Australia Engineer, Dudelove, San, 142, Mundia, Ndobo or dobo whatever, Matipa, Chloroquine etc beacuse I already know what there comments would be in each article published. Their name tag is now: KU OPPOSA FYE MUDALA.

    • I feel honoured.Just like Sata(or anybody who wants to fail in life) you want see only what you wanna hear.Selective vision is NOT a virtue.

    • Yup its true, objectivity requires you to hear both sides.

I named my a-hole “one direction” coz that how it operates.

My mind is named “two way ave” coz thats how i can live most productively.A one track mind would be mightily unwise.

  16. Childish behaviour at its best. Will this hh ever grow up? Kaya mwandi. Unveil your shadow cabinet and tell the Zambians what you would do for them in case they elected you. Indeed Chama Chakombokoka reasoned fat better than this man. Under 5 title really befits you 100%.

  17. @peter HH is not jealous for losing election, yo sata lost election before, he continued attacking in power until he won. Yo utterances are full of tribal hatrade for HH and other tribes as if yos is the only one in Zambia such shallow thinking of yos is for the dullest failures like u!

  18. “WE ARE HAPPY WE RECALLED PRESIDENT SATA FROM HIS HOLIDAY BUT HE SHOULD RETIRE HIS IMPREST”-HH

WHICH BUFFOON WOULD SHARE THIS MESSAGE ON LINE UNLESS HIS FOLLOWERS ALSO BUFFOONS?
THE FELLOW IS SUPPOSED TO BE ON A CAMPAIGN TRAIL IN MCHINGA.

  19. HAVE U SEEN HOW LIVINGSTONE HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED? THE ROADS! ROAD PAVEMENTS! NEW ROADS AND BRIDGES! THE NEW DESIGNS OF UNIVERSITIES! ETC

JUST WAIT FOR THE NEW DUAL CARRIAGE WAYS. THEY WILL MAKE SOME ROADS IN SOUTH AFRICA LOOK LIKE COUNTRY ROADS!

  20. I totally agree with His Exellence HH is saying. This man if given a chance will provide and give zambia a 360 turn around economic revitalization

    • That is my President in waiting !!! Viva Viva! At least we shall have a learned man at plot one, for the first time in Zambia’s history !!

  21. Its astonishing for a head of state to cut short a WORKING FOR A NATION holiday on account of a comment from a citizen. President Michael Sata is not serious with national issues. He is still with opposition mentality. To this end kudos go to HH and UPND for saving expenses for the nation from the cut short presidential visit abroad.
We now await how Sata will qualify to earn an air ticket to India from HH. The conditional response attached to the ticket were clearly stated by Mr Sata himself as promises to the Zambian people. These will haunt him through out his life if not fulfilled.

    • There is more to his return. The first class ticket to India issue is an unfortunate scapegoat which was ill-advised by the presidency and is now becoming so embarrassing. There is no way he was going to come back just because of what HH said. There are either problems in State Security, State House, Govt., or Party, or this was the actual duration of the trip, or all. I would not be surprised that this was the actual duration of the trip and the idea was to play to the gallery “the President cut short his working holiday to attend to pressing issues – a hardworking and caring person with his nation at heart”. Where is the Challenger? It is national property.

  22. @niger, HH only says the truth about sata and his PF regime which came into being through rethoric/lies. Two years into being poverty is viciously attacking the majority of zambian pipo due to poor governance and financial mismanagement. Be informed wherever u a!

    • @DM Mwansabemba
Rome was not built in a day. Show me politician who is devoid of rhetoric. I believe the PF is learning from its mistakes.
HH a Liquidator, simply made hay while the sun was shinning. Just because you have a lot of money does not mean you have political power. The young chap has a lot learn about politics. Still very wet behind the ears. Even I know a lot more about politics then this young upstart.

  23. these demands should actually have come naturally to Sata but being what he is good work by HH for reminding him of what is required of him. Offering a ticket is so humane and good of UPND. I recall Mwanawasa saving Sata’s life by sending him to SAfrica for top medical attention. Mwanawasa didnt need to help Sata at all. I wonder if Sata would do the same to any of his political opponents. What did mwanawasa receive in return….insult upon insult from Sata. Can we all pray for deliverance of our head of state please.UPND is already leading the way on this.
Somehow it feels like Chellah is the zambian president now…shame

  24. just becos of a ticket 2 india, he abandon wht ever he ws doing. But ths intelligent HH is clever, the big man is now confused. He thot the ticket would come on the silver plate… A big lesson of following Mmembe aimless.. Yaba HH feel pity on the big man, he really want to go to india again for medication. Awe mwe ticket iza bvuta mwandini.

  25. As at now, Zambia’s economy risks weakening under the weight of corporate failure due to poor national leadership. If the situation is not arrested this will have a huge impact on the economy.

However not all hope is lost. This country is blessed with many leaders with immense corporate goverance competency. Leaders able to introduce best practices of corporate goverance and bring around the collapsing corporate cluster to contribute to economic development.

Let me call a spade a spade. Those who are wet behind the ears may think this is hero worshiping, far from it. I have no not time for foolish and excessive adulation for an individual. However, I like writing plainly, to describe something as it really is.

One of the people with vast corporate competency is Hakainde…

    • He has immense knowledge, experience and skills in corporate leadership. His technical competency can link corporate governance to other foundations of development and set sail the country to economic development.

    • @sara
I am humbled by your comments because you don’t beat about the bush, you simply hit the nail on the head each time you comment on the current political climate in Zambia.

Among all the opposition leaders we have today in Zambia I see HH as the only one who ticks all the boxes regarding good governance and prudent economic management.

  26. Ba heka heka too much marubbish, why re you imitating ba sata.your ka watchgalu does not show comments againt you.how democratic re you, fool those that re blind.most zambians knew it was wrong for sata to mock the late levy over his illness, will it be right for to do the same to the president.gelauti iwe

  27. So it’s the same Underfive who gets 18% speaking. Didn’t he say the same in 2006, 2008 and 2011 that he was going to defeat Sata? But the gap between Sata and HH in elections looks like this since 2006. In 2006 Sata defeated Hichilema with over 110,000 votes, in 2008 the gap increased to 300,000 and in 2011 the gap increased further to over 700,000. So how does ba HH hope to close that 700,000 gap? The chap is a real joker. And where is ba HH going to even get those votes? in Southern and Western Provinces or part of North Western? And what about the other 7 provinces? I see this chap being a distant third again in 2016. Mark my word

  28. Dear All,
MCS is the President for all Zambians therefore , he is a Government trophy. We as Zambians deserve to know his business trips because he is sustained on tax payers money. So dont call names those that are asking to know the where about of our president. He is not just a president for PF as a party but a Republican President. So gentlemen and ladies dont get annoyed when sage citizens are asking questions where the Republican president is and his healthy.

  29. OK HH IS VERY EDUCATED GUYS,JEALOUSY ASIDE,BA SATANA IS VERY BLANK,ASK HIM ABOUT THE INFLATION RATE AND GDP OF A COUNTRY,HE CANT EXPLAIN THEM.

  30. HH.Reading your piece of your statement. U hv m
ade me laugh! That “Retire the Imprest.” Hahahhahahaahaaaaaaaa!! You very funny but you certainly correct on all mataz u hv raised.

We now await for a feedbck from plot one….

  31. Basa, HH, is really embarrassing us, he has sunk low , I doubt if has brains any more, I was thinking he would be President, but with thi caliba of politics, Ndagunwa. Never rule

  32. HH – what a joke of a human being! But then it wouldn’t surprise me if Zambians go along and vote him as president. How can someone so devoid of any sense, wisdom and any measure of human descence even to lead a political party let alone a country?
What a banana republic – Africa is really a joke of the world.
    Shameful!

  33. If Sata fails to take these obvious constitutional steps, then National Assembly should commence impeachment proceedings against Sata-n for endangering the country.

  34. HH WHEN YOU WERE TOLD TO PRIVATIZE ZAMBIAN COMPANIES CHILUBA THERE WAS NO COUNTABILITY. WHAT COUNTABILITY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. HH WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS BITER? VIVA HH 2031 HH2032,HH2031,………………………………VIVA HH2031 HH2031.

  35. Ok – Let us be honest and objective here. If this is the level of politics expectant from an educated opposition then we are doomed. If really HH wants to sound presidential he should really refrain from being personal with Sata. HH is asking the president to do everything, from reinstating nurses and subsidies to reducing the prices of mealie meal. Is this how HH sees a government should work. Why not table those arguments in parliament with so many of his MPs. I am disappointed as I expect a little bit more issue based politics from HH but this is just childishness

    • HH is simply speaking on behalf of the so many suffering voiceless masses out there !!! Just because you are riding the gravy train and have forgotten the hungry mouths out there who put you in office, does not WARRANT you to hinder those wise people such as HH, to speak for the masses of Zambia !!! So get out of his way and let him speak for the people !!!

  36. HH WHEN YOU WERE TOLD TO PRIVATIZE ZAMBIAN COMPANIES BY CHILUBA THERE WAS NO COUNTABILITY. WHAT COUNTABILITY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. HH WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS BITER? VIVA HH 2031 HH2032,HH2031,………………………………VIVA HH2031 HH2031.

  37. ka (HH) Hanyenga Habanakwe you are the biggest loser. Your speeches are dull and illogical. being president of Zambia is for few chosen people and you can never be one of them. Your lousy watchdog UPND propagandist site has become boring with your pro HH ranting. You claim to be fighting for the voice of the masses yet you block anti HH truths.

  38. …political soap opera season 1 episode 4…..cant wait for episode 5 especially that it may be shot from plot 1 or the cabinet office….

  39. As for me and my house; i.e wife, sons, daughters, my mother, my father, my sisters, my nieces, my nephews, my brothers & Sisters in-law, my uncles, my aunties, my father in-law, mother in-law, grandmother, grandfather, great grand mothers, great grand fathers and my business partners, WE SHALL VOTE FOR HH in 2016!!!

    • If it seemeth evil for you to vote HH come 2016, be it as you wish. Choose ye this day whom you shall vote for. As for me and everyone who eateth from my plates be it he that pitheth against the wall or down, we shall all vote HH come 2016 and may God help us to get there for the sake of this beloved country!

  40. ka (HH) basa the people of Zambia dont need a failure of a politician like you. You will never lead this nation. Mark my words young chap even Chipimo and Frank Bwalya will beat you this time in 2016. I see you coming out a distant 5th. Its a good thing you have money but it has made you blind. Money cant buy votes and you will hang yourself in 2016. We have rejected you many times before ka (HH) and we shall again reject you and your cattle herd of followers

  41. Sata’s style of running GRZ is at odds with good practices.Taxpayers have a right to know his movements bcoz they’re his bosses. His style is more of “old style ruling” than today’s fashion of “governing”

  42. I love cattle and I do not mind the smell. Continue to insult some of us from rural parts of Eastern, Western, N/Western and Southern provinces who spent our childhood herding cattle. We love our cattle and we shall continue keeping them. If you hate the animal, why eat the beef?

I think the issue of accountability from public leaders is cardinal. Hon. Mpombo is “behind bars” for failing to retire impress. I am told that late LPM SC (MHSRP) also used to be very particular about retiring imprest. I am sure the current President is too. I hear he is very strict when it comes to such things.

  43. HH should pay someone to give him some new ideas. Since he is “so rich” and “successful”. Alternatively just to be quiet and accept his destiny like a man

    • the person who needs great ideas is the one ruling, so that he can create more meaningful job and not this causal jobs our youths are engaged in the road sector. He (the ruler) also needs to sort out corruption and tribalism (or familism, since he is now keeping it within the Bisa family)

  44. Being president of a country is no piece of cake! It’s a difficult job. Though you had wanted it so badly, I believe you must be regretting it now. You are finding out a little too late, that it is no fun up there. Unfortunately, 2016 is not tomorrow. It’s still a long way to go. Try invoking the powers of the king cobra and stir your way to an illustrious end.

Another word of advice: don’t let anyone convince you to run again in 2016. You are simply too old for this. Your family still needs you. We all would like to see the real you that was once the signature of your person. Putting up that retirement home ahead of time was so very smart of you. You deserve your rest. Remember that once beaten, twice shy. I Wish you a peaceful and prosperous exit in 2016.

  45. I like this guy, he’s got balls. Sata tried to lie about his whereabouts but got found out. Every future Zambian President and official staff member should go through the “Fit and Proper Test ” because clearly Sata is not running the country. We need a President for the people not a Facebook one! POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!

  46. UPND should have a rethink about their party president! HH is not growing the party, he is taking it down with him.Talking without substance everyday, is just exposing himself on how ignorant he is about politics! Three election attempts and negative growth of the party should be a warning to all real UPND people that they have a wrong leader at the top!
Using Sata as a campaign tool will backfire, people appreciate things they can see when they talk about development, these personal attcks will not win them any voters. MMD achieved nothing which people can point to apart from changing names of secondary schools to high schools and primary schools to basic schools to give an impression that they are building schools and making education accessible to all, which was a lie!

    • Haleisa Haleisa 2016!! Contrary to your fake assertions, the man has gained by leaps and bounds. He is the only one making sense now. In any case why should UPND take advice from an interested party? Chipuba chesu tulekeni fwe bene . . . . singing!!!

  47. If you really want to prove how unpopular HH is, just see the comments on his facebook postings and you know how reasonable Zambians rate this underfive chap

  48. There are so many boys here hired by George Chellah to denounce the next president of Zambia HH. They can hung. They think we are dull and cant see the corruption, arrogance, confusion and lack of plan for Zambia with this govt. Corruption now is even worse than in Chiluba’s MMD and RB’s MMD combined. We are flushing your master out of state house come 2016. We want good governance garanteed by a people driven constitution and also want sanity at plot 1.

  49. HH WHEN YOU WERE CONTRACTED BY THE LATE SMALL BOY CALLED CHILUBA REGINA TO PRIVATIZE ZAMBIAN COMPANIES THERE WAS NO COUNTABILITY, NOW WHAT COUNTABILITY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT IWE TONGA BULL.ANY WAY WE ARE BEHIND YOU IN 2031. VIVA HH2031,VIVA HH2031, HH2031, HH2031, HH2031,HH2031,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,HH2031,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,HH2031.VIVA HH2031.

  50. EVEN IF HIS EXCELLENCE MCS LEFT OFFICE TODAY AND ELECTIONS ARE HELD, I DO NOT THINK HH IS THE RIGHT MAN FOR THE HIGHEST OFFICE. HE IS TOO RAW AND LEAVES MUCH TO BE DESIRED. HH THINKS HE IS THE ONLY ZAMBIAN WHO IS EDUCATED, INFACT UPND LEADERSHIP MUST REMOVE FROM BEING PRESIDENT, HE IS WASTING HIS TIME. LEADERS ARE BORN, PLEASE DO NOT IMPOSE YOUR SELF ON PEOPLE. WHETHER RIGGING ELECTIONS IS THERE OR NOT HH CAN NOT WIN ELECTIONS, HE IS TOO TRIBAL, ZAMBIANS ARE NOT FOOLISH. AND YOU PEOPLE FROM KWABANTU BOTATWE PLEASE STOP CHEATING YOUR LEADER’ HE HAS NO LEADER SHIP QUALITIES.
