ZNBC is very unlikely to televise live Zambia’s friendly against Uganda on March 5 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.

According to sources familiar with the development, ZNBC is unable to meet the US$20,000 the Football Association of Zambia is asking as broadcast rights for the game.

However, ZNBC will only cover the match on radio.

Wednesday’s game will be Zambia’s first game in 2014 and coach Patrice Beaumelle debut home fixture since his appointment last October.

  2. This is laughable you mean these ZNBC guys can’t raise a mere $20K from advertising space and make a healthy profit from it. This corporation needs major restructuring to get rid of passengers! !

  8. Mwewa Max. You sadly have a narrow understandin to issues. How do you think FAZ sustains its operations if it doesn’t use every opportunity to raise funds without it always being dependent on govt coffers. They have to pay its workers my dear and all those players they will bring in. Do u know how much it costs on flight cost alone to bring in Sunzu to Zambia? The players will have to be accommodated and fed my dear. How old are you Mwewa sure?? U seem not to know wht goes on on the global front. Even in the Uk those games u watch they go with a huge cost. Be objective and open up ur mind. You are the only one who doesn’t know wht value Kalu has brought to the Zambian game. Today Zambians are trooping in mass to watch games played by our national team & local clubs

  10. Mr Mushota sir we are going to appreciate if you can stop talking about Zambian football. If you are not a football fan then leave it for others who are proud of Zambian games to be commenting because we are not happy with your comment.

  12. Lusaka Cholera . Thanks your bckup. These guys my man they soooooo jealous of Kalu I dot know what else they anticipated him to deliver as faz president. Take their children to schools perhaps or helping them build their houses for shelter. The guy Kalu is de first ever faz president to bring the africa cup trophy and no thanks to the man. I dot think there wil be any faz president to deliver it any tym soon. Our players are being exposed at high levels. Today we can even watch our local league on supa sport and mind u faz gets rights payments for all this and pipo can’t stil see. Let me even turn to Tumfwenko I get to read your tip man
