The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has described as painful the death of two female football players for Shalom Queens Academy, Martha Mwanamwalye and Christine Mabati.
FAZ Vice President, Bornface Mwamelo said the duo, who were killed in a hit and run road accident on April 4 were examples of improving women’s football in the country.
Speaking in Lusaka during a church service at New Apostolic Church,Mr Mwamelo said the football fraternity had lost two young footballers who were role models for other young footballers.
He said the association will miss the contributions of the players to women’s football.
So sad, MTSRIP. But please give us the full story of how the accident happened.
Did Charlotte Scot know about it? I can’t even ask about Mrs. Sata.
So sorry to hear this.
It is a national tragedy.
Our thoughts are with their families.
How the girls died is an essential part of the story. So you have to provide the details since you are just breaking the story. Another half baked product

y bring in the sad news so late afta 3 days and just a tip.communications dept at faz wats yo job.
Rubbish reporters, not worth the money they are paid for a job to do. The real story should have been on how the hunt for the killer driver is progressing for his/her cruel deed. Brining into the story a ZP investigator to inform us on the progress he/she is making would have been good too. Sad that with the national poor educational system in place for all these years due to corruption in the leadership of Zambia, we are stuck with imbeciles for reporters.
