Zambia U17 heads for Moscow tournament

FAZ has revealed that the Zambia Under-17 has been invited for next month’s youth football tournament in the Russian capital Moscow.

In a statement, FAZ spokesperson Nkweto Tembwe confirmed that the Chris Kaunda coached Junior Chipolopolo will participate in the competition that will take place from 13-18 May.

“The U 17, through the Zambian Government/Russian Embassy initiative have been invited for a youth tournament in Moscow,” he said.

The team will this year in July begin qualifying matches for the 2015 CAF Under-17 Cup.

Kaunda has since announced a 24-member Under-17 squad that regroups in Lusaka on Sunday.
