Mighty Mufulira Wanderers coach Manfred Chabinga has warned that the
legendary club must sweat to win promotion back to the FAZ Super
League.
Wanderers are joint third on the FAZ Division One North table with 12
points from seven matches ahead of Sunday’s home clash against second
placed Forest Rangers at Shinde Stadium.
Chabinga said it won’t be easy for Mighty to end their nine-year exile
from the topflight league this season.
“Winning promotion is our main objective but it won’t be easy, it will
be tough,” he said.
“So far the competition in Division One has been very tough so I have
been pushing my players to work hard for us to go to the Premier
League,” Chabinga said.
Wanderers first suffered demotion in 2002 before briefly making a
return to the elite league in 2005.
Mighty is the most successful local club overall and have won the
Super League nine times.

How is mighty the most successful local team? It has won the local league 9 times while Nkana has won the same 12 times. Power has even won a continental trophy. Please clarify.
