Movement for Multi Party Democracy (MMD) Vice President for Administration Brian Chituwo has maintained that the former ruling party is as good as dead under the leadership of Nevers Mumba.

Dr. Chituwo says electing Dr Mumba during the national convention was a regrettable mistake that the party made.

Dr. Chituwo says it is clear that things are not well in the party and should not pretend that things will be better under Dr. Mumba.

Dr. Chituwo, who is also Mumbwa MMD Member of Parliament, says the performance of the mmd in the parliamentary by-election is a clear indication that the party is not going anywhere.

He has since called for an extraordinary convention to usher in new leadership after realizing that the entire party national executive has failed to lead the party.

    • ABC couldnt win a telling victory in Court presided and in case of a criminal angle, prosecuted by DPP Mutembo Nchito with MNB Patners (Mutembo et al) defending Fred and Post……and Judge Chali et al presiding over the matter.

So ABC is wise to leave the Court system where Fred can appeal to the Supreme Court with Malila and Woods being part of a bench of three!!

This battle will be won in the Civil Court via debt enforcement of statutory debt (tax liability). And as soon as the judgment is read, garnishee orders and fifa will fly to Bwinjimfumu!! And Fred will come to an abrupt end. His copper ferrying trucks, printing press, corporate premises, plant and equipment, vehicles etc will be auctioned. I will participate and buy a memorabilia for the pit latrine!

    • @Siamanengo: You are dreaming if not hallucinating!! …Anyway, Arsewhores like you can go on living in cuckooland like you have always done!! It’s time for you to and wash plates in the Indian Retaurant – that’s the best job you can ever do!!

  1. Dr Chituwo let me advice you .. just resign than making noise no one will buy ur cheap propaganda…..at now our topic is Sata…..who is refusing to die
    thanks

  2. Ok…..sure !! Zoona !! Hahahaha pa Zed !!! I miss Dean Mung’omba my favourite candidate ever to exist in Zed and Andy Mazoka.
Ths time they would ve ‘stirred the waters’ the more.
I wonder WHY GOD TAKES AWAY the BEST…..!!!

    • Ths time Dean or Andy would ve stood and say: “Mr Chilubaaa that can not be torelated. Ths govt is denying the citizens their rights to kno the Health of their President”
I miss those guys DEATH IS INDEED A MYSTERY to man kind !!!.

  3. Dr Chituwo likes hiding in skirts ….why can’t stand on ur own than following siliya ? sometimes chituwo behaves like mushota and his friend NDO

  4. A house divided cannot stand. Dont these MMD leaders ever meet to discuss the wag forward for the party? Whats the use of denouncing each other in the public domain?

  5. Us international investors have benefited a lot from mmd. we buy your mining companies at a chaep price and offer you low pay while benefiting from your copper, emeralds, tanzanite, coal

  6. This ka ma Old Guard has just realised that his political career is dead and gone and thinks it’s MMD that is dead! Chituwo, you have run your distance Nakalamba – just as you ran your distance in the Army!

MMD will go onand on and on with Shikapwashas, Mumbas, Mwales, and indeed the newly re-elected Victoria Kalima BUT certainly without outmoded you!!

Why do you think MMD cant survive without? In fact MMD can do better without socerers like you. Just Go whereever you want to – your village (if you still have one) and leave Muhabi and Mumba to organise the party on their terms.

Even that Ka Bemba wife of yours will now leave you because she wont follow you all the way to yoour Sala village. It Agony time for you unless you find a desperate Old Lenje banger woman in Shakumbila!!

  7. It’s not only MMD which is dead the whole political community is very dead in Zed, look at the following;

    > Private Press banned from covering the opening of parliament and no strong words from the MPs.
    > The Post Newspaper avoids paying tax for 3 solid years meanwhile giving lame excuses, and attacks the minster instead – no comment from politicians (MPs)
    > A senior minster( Finance Minister) being insulted by Luonde that he is a fool, no comment from fellow ministers especially the Vice President.
    > Unfit President goes out to attended a UN convention, still silence from the both MPs.
Only online publications question all the above anomalies while people concern remain quite.

  8. I am not a fun of dr. Nevers Mumba, but Dr. Chituwo is wrong here, Mumba is just a victim who inherited a dead party. MMD has been dead for a while, the problems started with Mwanawasa who brought very strange characters into the party with no interest of growing the party. Then come Lupiya with his on group of the Peter Daka,s. The Best the y can do is to give us our party back and we can run it better. Besides reality is that MMD is still in power given that both PF and UPND are offshoots of MMD. President Sata is a True Blue.
    Watch this space!

    • @TRUE BLUE : “..Mumba is just a victim who inherited a dead party..” I am curious as to the relevancy of your observation here. MMD may have been a dead party by the time Mr. Mumba assumed its presidency. But was not the mandate for him to revive and infuse life into it?

As one who has been following the developments in MMD from the sidelines, I note that Mr. Mumba’s leadership has been disconcertingly disruptive of party unity. If I may remind you, there was the Major Kachingwe saga, Catherine Namugala and more recently Michael Kaingu, Brian Chituwo and other party luminaries whom Mr. Mumba had to just kick out of party leadership and out of his way. But MMD’s dismal performances in recent by-elections, did confirm the glowing concerns within the party.

    • Which then are the ghosts that are haunting MMD? Leadership should be there to make a difference. Otherwise, it is a failed leadership. Nevers Mumba’s leadership falls into that category. It must make a difference or it has failed. So far, it is not making any difference.

    • Also on record is a political party which Nevers Mumba himself had founded but later abandoned for greener pastures. That does say something about his mettle. The argument that he found MMD dead cannot be advanced with respect to the party that he himself had formed. Benjamin Franklin once said: “He who is good at excuses is good at nothing else.” So is Nevers!

  9. Listen to who is talking. Surely you think people would easily support an ousted party – with leaders like Chituwo? Think twice, what will be attracting them? Chituwo has started the campaigns for RB – watch this space!

  10. Why is Chituwo still in a dead party? Would a expect a doctor to understand what the word ‘dead’ means than any one else but loo….. Chituwo is a special One!

  11. Shall we remember the rebel PF members of parliament! They said Sata could never be president. MMD is fortunate to have Nevers!

    • Mr. Sata was a success story politically. He had a way to connect with the electorate at the grassroots. I seriously doubt that Mr. Mumba commands similar type of political flair. I tend to see him more as a display politician. He lacks political acumen.

  12. The political immaturity exhibited by the current MMD leadership of Dr. Nevers Mumba, Munabi Lungu and their cadre Lusambo who publicly breathed arrogant attacks on Mr. Kaingu, Dr. Chituwo. Ms. Dora Siliya and Mr. Malusa actually cost the MMD obvious losses inflicted in Solwezi and Bvubwi. Dr. Mumba must be reminded that persons like Kaingu, Chituwo and Siliya can single-handedly win elections in their respective constituencies. Indeed Dr. Mumba has transformed the MMD into a toothless bull-dog.
