Zesco United 2014 FAZ Super Division title hopes suffered a major setback on the penultimate day of the season.
Zesco lost 2-0 away at Nakambala Leopards to stay second and see the 2014 title set for a photo-finish on November 22.
Nakambala took a 1-0 halftime lead in the 22nd minute through a Luka Tembo free kick that left Zeco goalkeeper Jacob Banda riveted to his spot.
Zesco had an opportunty to equalise in the 43rd minute but Lazarus Kambole stomped a Winston Kalengo cross from close-range just wide on the near post.
Nakambala sealed the three points from the spot in the 84th minute after defender Bernard Mapili handled the ball in the box that Bernard Simakweze stepped up to convert.
Zesco stay second on 57 points, tied with leaders Zanaco while Power Dynamos are two points behind and now with an oiutside chance at the alst day shot of the table despite losing 1-0 to Zanaco on Saturday.
Zanaco visit Red Arrows, Zesco host Kabwe Warriors while Power host Nakambala in Week 30.
Meanwhile, 12th placed Warriors were held to a 0-0 draw by 13th positioned Green Buffaloes at Sunset Stadium in Lusaka.

Nice win ba leopards, sad that the pitch is no longer suitable for football nor cricket by a super league club. The stadium was opened in 1986 no major improvement since then, the so called grand stand without a shade very shameful
