London, UK, 16th November 2014. We Zambians living in the United Kingdom have been following with keen interest the elections of the next President of the Patriotic Front Party following the untimely death of President Michael Chilufya Sata.
We wish to call upon the Patriotic Front to avoid short-cuts and ensure the election of the next president is democratic and according to the party constitution. We wish to remind the Patriotic Front Central Committee that choosing the next president of the ruling party by a small group of 40 rich people is not democracy and does not inspire confidence among the general electorate. It’s plan dictatorial and selfish.
We hereby endorse Honourable Chishimba Kambwili, Minister for Youth and Sports as the Presidential candidate for the PF at the general conference.
We have followed and admired the work culture and determination of Honourable Kambwili during the short period he has been in government. Hon. Kambwili has always executed his national duties with energy, courage and compassion in all the three ministries that the late President appointed him to serve.
We remember too well that when Hon Kambwili was Minister for Labour, he worked tirelessly and unselfishly to restore the dignity of Zambian workers who continue to suffer at the hands of foreigners inventors. Hon Kambwili showed that he puts the interest of the country first before anything else, even his own. Hon Kambwili has also demonstrated courage whenever he makes a decision, because courage is what it takes to stand up and speak. These are important attributes of a successful president.
Hon. Kambwili is youth and energetic, and having lived abroad, particularly in the United kingdom, he will bring required international understanding in the execution of his presidential duties.
We have also observed that over the past few days since the burial of President Sata, Kambwili also has been a constant voice of wisdom and moderating figure. This has ensured that the Acting President continues to perform his duties constitutionally and Zambia continues to work.
Above everything else and most important, Hon. Kambwili is a well-known Member of Parliament in Zambia which will make it easy for him to be elected at the by-presidential elections. We are warning the PF that electing a little know figure as PF president, will be self annihilation at the Presidential by-elections.

This letter is a “one man” effort and should not be captioned as the wishes of Zambians in the UK. The letter has a lot of typo’s and misspelled words which likely shows that this was written by either Kambwili himself or a Kabova living in the UK. Remember Kambwili is a Kabova and therefore has a lot of Kabova friends. But in an Ironic way it makes sense because Kambwili is very much like SATA, both were Kabova’s. If Zambians vote for these PF thugs in power again, then I will know for sure that Zambia is not for me. I will apply for citizenship in neighboring Botswana and take my talents there.

I am also a Zambian living in the UK who has never heard of this paid group in my life. But then again it is there democratic right to campaign for whoever they like so long as they avoid generalising by saying “us Zambians living in the UK”…..
Equally the same UK group should be under no illusion that any wise Zambian knows and fully understands that the PF, including Kambwili, are a bunch of deceiptful lairs and do not need to be anywhere near the corridors of power. Anybody issuing statements campaigning for any PF minister is simply exposing their dullness and docility.

This is the most shallow and outrageous endorsement. For one Lusaka times should do their due diligence to verify the authenticity of this character who submitted the letter before they publish it. It is shoddy journalism.

This article was actioned by Kambwili’s wife who is a nurse at an old people’s home in the UK. Who in their right minds would want Kambwili as a president, the man is not fit to be in any cabinet, period. Zambians must act sober and choose the right candidate for the presidency or they stand to loose it to the opposition, especially MMD. But no matter how bad things get, not this Kambwili thing.

Mr Chishimba Shrek Kambwili’s main problem is his wife and children. The wife is materialistic and hates poor people. Ba Shrek kambwili is pompus, arrogant and a thief so as to please her, although he is cheating on her and has children with different women. The wife wrote the letter (which does not represent anyone) begging for him to be in the right position so that he can steal more money for her. Chishimba is just interested in drinking beer and eating food high in cholesterol. We are very happy to see he is getting fatter and shorter. Vote no to kambwili.
