The Opposition Forum for Democracy and Development FDD has called on the public to ensure that the ruling Patriotic Front (PF) is kicked out office in the next 50 days as they are not fit to run the affairs of the country.
And the Opposition Party has charged that the country is degenerating into anarchy which is being spearheaded by the party in government.
Speaking at a media briefing where her party officially announced that she is their candidate for the coming elections Ms. Nawakwi said the PF do not deserve to be in office as they are turning the country in a battle zone.
Ms. Nawakwi said the PF’s behavior is not just hurting the country economically but that it is also embarrassing to the outside world who consider Zambia to be the haven of peace in the region.
She further described PF General Secretary Edgar Lungu as the “God Father of Violence” as he has remained mute over the violent behavior of his cadres.
She noted that Mr. Lungu who is also the Minister of Defence has watched silently as his cadres turn the city into a battle zone a move she said seems to support the violent behavior of the cadres.
Ms. Nawakwi also challenged all political parties to consider appearing jointly on media briefing and debates on local media so as to give an opportunity to would be voters to chose the best candidate to take over the running of the country.
On the riots at UNZA the Opposition leader called for effective management of institution of high learning so as to avoid the perennial protests in government institutions.
She explained that the actions of the police were uncalled for as the students were just demanding for the rightful allowances adding that the people incharge of the should ensure that the mess is sorted out sooner than later.
Meanwhile the Opposition Leader has demanded that the PF puts a female candidate for the presidential elections as all the men are doing is cause violence whenever they address their cadres while there seem to be calm heads when its their chairperson Inonge Wina who calls for a meeting.
am also calling upon all zambians not to vote for a political party whose leader is a husband snatcher. She ll snatch all husbands, wreck marriages enmasss.

Nawakwi, I got one problem with you as to why you wouldn’t earn my vote if I was there to vote. It’s simple, your moral decay very bad.
Nawakwi stands a better chance to contribute to national development if she stands as an MP or appointed MP. Her insightful debates in parliament would benefit the nation. Chances of her scooping the Presidency are rather slim. Her experience, education, exposure and intelligence is there for all to see.

Only Nawakwi and HH are economists among those who have announced there candidature.Looking at both they are hard working,They are famers and Business persons.These two people mean well for Zambia.they understand the Economic landscape of Zambia.Iam positive if they were live TV debates they would out shine the likes of Nevers Mumba ,Edgar lungu and anyother.Chipimo is a good theorist but his ideas are still raw for Zambia but can put a good dabate.HH has practical solution to business and Economy .I would list them in this order 1.HH,2.Nawakwi,3.Chpimo,4.Nevers and last 5.Lungu.
I want to agree with Easter during the alliance in 2006 Nawakwi went in hibernation after agreeing to put HH as presidential candidate.she forced HH to adopt weak candidate from FFD this action made UPND lose lots of seats in Lusaka to MMD and PF.It is this act of deceit that paints Nawakwi as a dangerous politician who is not open to agreements.Nawakwi is an intelligent person but her prostitute behavior is the one Zambians don’t like.
HH needs to market himself more. Believe me even as you campaign on his behalf it is difficult to have a message for the electorates in that all being said is he is young, successful in business, farmer….. Can we start hearing more of what UPND will do for the people…. Maybe more meat in the pot….. There has to be something.

Do you really think that because hh has never worked in govt he would fail to run the country? I doubt it very much my dear. HH has been around and so far his contribution to many governance issues shows that he has a better understanding of political issues than those who rose through political ranks. Do you really think that the way sata ran this country and brought out pf is the best despite all his so called experiences in politics. We dont need a politician but and economic manager to fix the economy of this country.its not the politians we are lacking but economic management,and hh is the best we have if we are really serious friends about moving our country forward. Now, I have questions to all you contributors to the debates. Please answer my question and spare me the trifling and waffling, I shall appreciate.
#1. What does the constitution say with regard to the term of office of a president who takes over after the demise of his/her predecessor?
#2) Does whoever wins in January have to rule only up to 2016 or does he/she rule for 5 years and why?
I am asking these questions because I do not believe that whoever wins, will be completing late Mr MCS’s term of 5 years but somewhat has to start a new 5 year cycle.
If this is the case, then we need to vote VERY carefully lest we be stuck for another 5 years with a lousy politricktian.

No, the winner will only rule up to 2016, and again by elections. If Panga fighters had instituted the people driven constitution in their syndrome in 90 days, all this wouldn’t be occurring.
Therefore, in 2016 it be elections time, but the best you can do for your country is to democratically kick out PF.
Unless you enjoy their lies and violence, vote for them as you wish. Make sure you make your mark known in the coming one, vote wisely and remember your family’s futures.
So far Lungs has proved to be weak and believe me those who are promoting Lungu are doing so to safeguard their own interest not that of the country. What has Lungu done in his life,,Nothing worth noting..and if pf loses I doubt if Lungu can manage to sustain pf in the same way hh has managed upnd following the death of Mazoka. Upnd is growing and causing panic in pf..we need change upnd is the way you are welcome. We just need ZNBC to air more live debates and am sure upnd leader will show Zambians quality leadership
No you UPND cadres are scared of Lungu ,you know he is no match for Sonny Chitombwa, hence you continue to hate him. He is the best candidate for PF unlike a bemba like Sampa or GBM as votes will be split in Eastern province.

I could have not put it in a better way,man..but our Bemba friends are too tribalistic to even think about HH and are always the first to accuse others of tribalism. That’s why they will point to luapula,munchinga,northern and copperbelt for votes.
