As MMD youth, we are shocked that some members of our National Executive Committee have elected to support the candidature of former President Rupiah Banda on the MMD ticket.
As we have stated before, the return of Mr Banda to politics is bad business for Zambia. This is retrogressive and only goes to serve personal and selfish interests.
We wish to warn that failure to adopt Dr. Nevers Mumba as presidential candidate will mark the end of the MMD. As youths in the party, we will work to annihilate the MMD if Dr Mumba is not given the adoption ticket.
We cannot sit and watch our beloved MMD be dragged in ancient form of politics by a small group interested in serving its own selfish interests.Dr. Mumba has made several personal sacrifices to ensure that the MMD stays afloat. He used his strong leadership skills to make the MMD attractive once more. Majority of those supporting Mr Banda abandoned the MMD, they are now regrouping because they know they will milk some money from him.
It should be stated in no uncertain terms that we will ensure that the MMD dies if Dr Mumba is sidelined. We will work flat out to ensure that the party is buried in the annals of history.
Mr Banda should be reminded that just three years ago, he was soundly rejected by majority of Zambians. What does he think has changed in the last three years?
Looking at events of last few weeks, we have made some conclusions, Mr Banda is a greedy and destructive old man who does not deserve any form of respect. He can never be a statesman. What kind of a man abandons his sick wife battling with cancer to come and grab a political party he voluntarily left?

PF ends here! So much has gone wrong since PF came in. Their work has only been roads in which on the other hand, they used road contracts to enrich themselves through relatives. That’s why RDA was taken to state house. They used distant relatives to get contracts so that future investigations will not directly link them.

I told you fellow bloggers that Nevers Mumba has no stronghold in Zambia.Northen province is for PF were mumba comes from.No stupit politician would pick a leader without a strong hold.This happens even in the United states of America there states predominantly for republicans(Anglo Saxons) and Democrats (Hispanic,Black Americans and mixed races)Banda has a stronghold Eastenr province, all he needs to win is to add own a few urban vote especially in LSK.PF strongholds are northern,Muchinga and Luapula,parts of copperbelt.HH has a stronghold that’s why UPND will never die.It has southern,western,north western,Parts of central and Lusaka.It is likely Banda and a PF candidate will split the votes and HH will get it.That iam positive because God has hiden the wisdom from PF and MMD.

From the on-going confusions in both camps, its easy to see that both the decapitated PF and the defunct MMD are the two sides of one coin. The similarities in their manner of confusions says it all, i.e. they both lack a clear futuristic ideology first and foremost, there is infighting in both camps as to who should be their Presidential candidate and yet both camps are saying their respective party constitutions provide guidelines on how to go about it. This is a clear sign to any well meaning Zambian not to entrust our Country into their hands. The chaos we are seeing from these two camps is just a tip of an iceberg. Our Country deserves better.
If Banda runs my vote goes to HH
You people don’t get it. Two things why Banda wants to come back are as follows:-
1. He wants his dying wife to be buried as a First lady and since he will be the president he will dictate that she be buried at Embassy Pack.
2. He wants to influence the dropping of criminal charges against his Children so that they can freely operate there criminal activities in the country and finish off what they started. So be carefull even as we choose our next president. Let us giving him a resounding NO.
Zambians should bury RB politically if he stands. We will not let his family abuse Zambia like their vegetable garden. We don’t want to pay for his medical and funeral bills. He can waddle off to his farm in Chipata.

Stupid old rubbish
First and foremost, I would like to agree with other bloggers that it is everyone’s right to stand. As for RB, he is exercising his right too. However, now that for now he is in active politics, his monthly allowances being paid by Govt must be suspended. All benefits he is enjoying by virtue of being a past president must be halted. This is also a wake-up call to Zambians that our constitution needs to be water tight. We needed a provision stating that if a former president comes back in politics and contests position of president, he/she loses all state benefits and these can only be reinstated upon second retirement if he/she wins and if he/she loses, benefits will not be reinstated. Just like what happens when a widow remarries. After second divorce, original benefits are forgone.
Let him come back, his children and concubines will vote for him.

You are right Lusambo, RB is a fake character, he should never have been President of this country in the first place. Equally a fake character is Nevers Sekwila Mumba. The chap could have been President by now if he had not been so disrespectful to late Mwanawasa by failing to apologise when Levy asked to do so over that Katumbi issue. As it is now, he shall be dribbled even of the right to stand as Presidential candidate of a finished political party, the Mwadya Mweka Daddy (MMD).
Personally I will be looking at the calibre and track records of presidential candidates. As of now RB is not a presidential material. He is facing criminal charges in the courts of law and that tells alot. Although he is innocent until proved guilty, he is better kept out of presidential race.
We installed RB 1.0 into government, and all the files were corrupted, the system kept on rebooting. We went into safe mode uninstalled RB 1.0 and installed Sata 3.1. Sata 3.1 was running perfectly, but we did not make some backup and it crushed when we needed it the most. The makers of RB 1.0 recalled it from the shelves and replaced it with Neva 5.1, which was an improved version of RB 1.0. Neva 5.1 worked perfectly as an open source software and just as it was about to be launched, fights in the company arose because a few selfish individuals wanted RB 1.0 because they can corrupt the entire computer and extort money.
Many end users know what RB 1.0 is capable of doing on their computers, and as such, if Neva 5.1 won’t be launched, then the alternative will be installation of HH 4.0…
