It is wicked for RB to comeback in politics

Share

Rupiah Banda-George Mpundu 03
Evangelical Youth Alliance International Executive Director Moses Lungu has expressed shock and disappointment that former President Rupiah Banda wants use undemocratic means to come back to active politics.

In an interview with Qfm News Reverend Lungu says what Mr. Banda is doing is allegedly wicked and should be condemned by all meaningful Zambians.

He says Mr. Banda should have been the one to unite the party and give advice as the party contest the forthcoming presidential elections.

Revered Lungu adds that the former Head of State has set a bad example to the young people and has depressed many people with his behavior.

He says Mr. Banda should not however cheat himself that he can win the 2015 presidential election as Zambians are not dull people.

The Evangelical Youth Alliance International Executive Director states that the people of Zambia know what they deserve in leadership and that this leadership has to be new.

He has since urged the MMD to put its house in order before it is too late for them to contest the forthcoming presidential by elections.

  1. Quick to judge and condemn Sir. RB is a citizen and like yourself, Sir, is free to stand. What MMD does is their business. They are not relevant in Zambian politics, except for comical value.

Please comment on how you are making Zambia a better place next time.

    Ta.

    • If he is a true evanglical youth, he shall stick to prayers and blessings of God, not getting into politics of hatred and judgment. It is the voters who shall decide.

    • RB is not the solution to this country, the man has no principles to say the least. No wonder his son is not even supporting him because RB’s returning to politics is not genuine considering that he retired and MMD moved on. Even though some bloggers claim RB has good economic policies, he retired and let other people work. We cannot afford as a country to keep recycling these old folks.

  2. Time for Rupiah Banda is now. He was doing fine, had an economic agenda of development that was bringing good results, huge forex reserves, jobs, bumper crops and so on. He shall takeover to bring the growth agenda forward, grow Fr, Bwalya or anybody who is willing to join hands with him to take over from him 2 years time. RB for development. RB for growth. RB for jobs. RB for law and order. RB for sanity. RB for rule of law. RB for vision.

    • @Taonga,
Well said. The problem with Zambians is that they cant see beyond their noses. For them it is a battle of Political parties rather than what is best for Zambia and re-claiming the pride we have lost in the last three years.
It is a nonstarter to vote for anyone else than RB. He shall work towards the main goal over the next two years which is a new consitution. Bring back Law and order and the restore dignity upon our nation

  3. Agreed with your brother. You have spoken for majority who had reasonably priced mealie meal, food security due to farmers friendly flow of fertilisers, timely purchasing of bumper harvest, jobs and peace and stability. RB for 2015 to bring back development train back on track.

  4. When RB was in power our economy grew. The economy was good, bumper harvest, low fuel prices, low mealie meal prices etc. RB is our hope. Good luck Bwezani, you have so many votes already

  5. RB NIMBWA SANA ELO THIS TIME WALATUKWA SANA PANTU ULIKU OPPOSITION CHITOLE CHOBE. YOU WANT TO COME BACK AND PUT IFITENGE KU MA POLES *****

  6. Old Rupiah reaps where he didn’t saw.He came in from retirement,no sweat became VP and later Rep.President.Rupiah has never faced any stiff elections. He was was just sneaked in by the pipo he ‘bought’without opening selection to other interested MMD members.let the disadvantaged mmd members also put up an injuction to his illegal and un democratic sole candidate selection by muhabi and team.

  7. Ba RB bena ciwelewe le .Even people supporting are the same. What can this old man offer to Zambia?

We have already tested him and found that Z AMBIA deserves better than ifinangwa ifi.

  8. RB stole a lot of money when he was in government he wants to off load some of it, through campaigns. God is an equalizer, let RB off load some of the money to the poor please. as for the vote it don’t Kubeba.
VOTE for young people not recycled leaders like RB. He is corrupt- oil saga, alcoholic, no vision. Fit for embassy park as some has already said.

  9. I think its high time we pick people with flesh blood and mind. let old people pass the mantle to young people and be advisors.
