Zambia Under-20 coach Hector Chilombo has described as tough the draw for the 2015 African Youth Championship that saw his team paired with South Africa, Ghana and Mali.

Chilombo’s side will kickoff the Senegal CAF Junior Championship on March 9 against Mali before facing Ghana four days later and will tackle South Africa on March 15.

He said Zambian needs to prepare well for the youth tournament.

“It is a tough draw and we need to prepare well for the tournament. We need to play high profile friendlies,” Chilombo said.

He, however, said Zambia will excel at the tournment and qualify for the World Cup.

“With proper preparations we will perform wonders. We want to reach the semifinals so that we can qualify to the World Cup,” Chilombo said.
He added:”It is good we know our opponents.”

Zambia returns to the under-20 Africa Cup for the first time since 2007.
