CHRISTIAN Democratic Party (CDP) president Danny Pule has promised to provide transparent leadership if elected into office in the January 20, 2015 presidential election.

Dr Pule said his campaign team is conducting door-to-door campaigns in various parts of the country ahead of the election.

He said in an interview in Lusaka on Thursday that his campaign team is working hard to ensure the party assumes office after January 20.

“We are doing very well as a party because we have gone flat-out to campaign. We are in all the parts of the country and I am happy to say that the people of Zambia are supporting us because they have realised that this is the only party which can lead the nation.

“I am urging Zambians to vote for my party which will bring change to this country,” Dr Pule said.

He also promised to deliver a people-driven constitution if elected into office.

Dr Pule said once voted into power next year, CDP will put God as first priority in line with its manifesto by ensuring that the Church is involved as partners in national development.

He also promised that the CDP will reduce the high cost of living by reducing the price of mealie-meal and other essential commodities.

Dr Pule urged his supporters to work together to mobilise new members to ensure that CDP emerges victorious in next month’s presidential elections.
He said Zambians need a leader who will form a partnership with them and to work with them to deliver meaningful development.

Dr Pule said it is sad that 50 years after independence, Zambians are still “surviving” on slogans.

He said the CDP will provide different leadership anchored on working with the people because it believes that this the only way the country can develop.

  1. Late president Sata was with 10 commandments as guidance to rule, Nevers Mumba says Zambia to be a Christian country, as if not one already. Now we have Archbishop, Prophet, President, Pastor Dr Danny Pule promising Zambians that God will be his first priority in the nation. Bishop Chomba now Bwalya Chofwe, northern prechers.

    Lenshina roots- Hokoyo.

  2. First of all let him tell us why he divorced Jane and Leah within a space 2 years and when to marry his best friends widow.

  3. This guy now sounds like the other ‘President,’ Muliokela. Right on nomination day, pastor Dan seems to have been tongue tied as he struggled to put his message across. At least Muliokela was clear on his vision. Incidentally, these ‘presidents’ were at one time both married to white women. Someone seems to have shown the way- that anyone can now vie for the top job.

  4. I read somewhere else online that this Pule dude has a Kaunda kind of doctorate. i.e. fake. Can someone please confirm or refute this info?

Funny thing of it is, there are so many people who have genuine doctorates but do not insist on being addressed as doctor. And then of course we have people like our first dictator Kaunda and a whole bunch of other fake doctors who just about have an epileptic seizure if you don’t address them by their fake title.
