Chipolopolo coach Honour Janza is delighted that his captain Stopilla Sunzu has finally joined Zambia’s pre-2015 Africa Cup training camp in South Africa.
Defender Sunzu joined camp on Thursday evening – bringing the total number of players to 25.
The 25-year old star delayed to join camp after travelling to China to seal a move from French Ligue 2 club Sochaux to Shanghai Shenhua.
“Every team needs its captain and I am particularly happy that Stopilla has come to join us after he moved to a new club. This means he has a clear mind and will concentrate on the assignment ahead of us in Equatorial Guinea,” Janza said.
Sunzu was part of the Friday morning training at the Johannesburg University Sports Complex.
Meanwhile, only Israel based striker Evans Kangwa and defender Emmanuel Mbola are yet to report for Zambia camp.
