  1. I have never acquired the taste for mango juice but would fight you any day of the week for a Zambian mango when I’m away from home…

Used to think Malawian rice was the best… hands down… now I have to say Mongu rice is pretty special.

Let’s grow what we can and I might even try mango juice again as long as it has a Made in Zambia label.

    • And how will that produce be transported?? Via helicopter bwana HH??? Cretins..a road network is essential in seeing the transportation of both inputs and the produce from wherever production will take place..and HELLO this what the PF govt have been working on day and night..don’t cheat the people ba HH but anyway this is what is expected from the likes of you LIES AND MORE LIES..

January 21, it will be announced…Edgar Lungu is leading in the elections
January 23/24 it will be announced…Edgar Lungu has won the elections
By the first week of February it will be announced…HH has resigned as UPND president..

    • @202Vision

Its a pity you always think in reverse.Your perspective of road infrastructure construction such as road net work is totally warped my friend. I heard that PF has tarred roads to a chief’s palace but for what economic benefit when the funds are this tight.

Any road development projects are supposed to be properly planned and necessitated by the existence of an economic activity from which the money to maintain that road should come from.

HH has a plan, to build a food processing plants in those areas to provide employment to the youth by first identifying the potential the area has. Once these plants are built, then that will require a road to transport goods to the markets.

When we in UPND say PF minions have no plan, this what we mean.

Vote HH a man with a…

    • @2020vision

You have no vision at all just like your Lungu. Instead of commending HH on this brilliant idea, you are condemning him because he wants to prioritise construction of a plant to develop economic capacity in that area that will then trigger the need for tarred roads all because your hatred for him.

Calm down man, if you want to make it life learn from HH not just condemning what ever he says just because he is giving your Lungu a very tough time.

Honestly tell us, whats bad about the idea of establishing food processing plants in these areas if any?

HH did not say roads are not needed. He is on record saying infrastructural development will continue as with any government of the day.

Be real otherwise your jealousy will confine you to f00ls paradise forever…

    • All that Zambia has lacked for many years is an entrepreneurial approach to managing the country. Their so many approaches that can be engaged to lift people from poverty, the problem has been poor and corrupt leadership.

That said, Zambia will be very fortunate to have HH as President. He is the only guy so far who understands two key things, that is; where Zambia should be and how to get Zambia where it should be.

    • I would Loooove to go to a store, (probably the higher end ones because they do organic) and pay the high asking price, because it’s grown in Kalabo.

I can just see the label:

      Kalabo Mango: $12 per /lb
      Zambian grown mango.
All Organic, natural; vegetarian; vegan; gluten-free
Grown by local Zambian men and women, providing jobs in an area where employment is scarce.

      Muzungus would lap it up
      win-win for everyone!

    • ooooooh My God this guy is dreamer. He says he will construct. Is it him, gvt or investors? If its the GVt why not use we, or my gvt will…This guy is selfish. How possible is it for him to construct a factory and provide market at the same time. Are these his personal companies?

  2. Only you can control your success and happiness. Work hard and be a good person for its own value, not from fear of an imaginary god or belief in useless annointing/magic oils and con-men “prophets”

  3. I feel for MMD, they have broken down into three pieces, one for HH the second for Lungu and the remnant third for Doctor Mumba. The future of this once vibrant party only the creator knows.

  4. All those promises to be achieved in one and half years. This man must be God himself, considering that the total cost of his promises to date, including delivery of a new constitution, must be approaching in excess of 10 Billion dollars, and I mean Obama dollars not Zim Dollars. And he still has 14 days to make more promises, estimated at the rate of US dollars 5million worth of promises per day.

    • @Sir Scott, MBE

You are really a dander head indeed. In economics we have short term, medium term and long term gaols. Some projects short term, others are medium term and long term.

The projects HH is talking about are not short term bu medium to long term projects.

Certain things like Free education provision, payment of farmers ,enacting of the constitution, establishing rule of law, efficiency of government operations, investigating corruption, enthroning of Sosala, changing the tax regime, cutting no. of cabinet posts to save money are what will be achieved within the 18 months.

Its just you PF minions have no acumen to understand some these things because you lack good education a thing which HH wants to fix and make it available and affordable to any one willing to…

    • @Sir Scott, MBE

If followed HH ‘s interview, he clearly stated that the 18months will be mainly for house keeping and laying the foundations for implementing those projects.

Sata understood HH ‘s vision very well thats why he called all his ministers stupid. If he was alive he would defected to UPND and work with HH.

  5. Mr.HH,all these plus other promises in one year!! Great magic indeed! But as 2020 vision has said, there is need for roads to first move the produce from farmers to the processing plants and from factories to the markets. PF has started with putting in place the enablers for investments Mr.HH is talking about. And then Mr.HH is not telling us how he will establish those industries.By private capital or as parastatals? If the latter is the way to go then he seems to agree with PF’s plan to set up the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) which Sata said was to invest and create industries especially in rural areas to ensure more value addition. Mr.HH seems to have accepted the same things he criticized barely a year ago before this election. Sorry he seems to have lost originality!

    • @Zambia 5!

HH is brilliant. I ve just come to like him. In terms of his campaigns has worked hard too and he will get between 67-70% of National votes.

      FLIGHTHH2015 Happy Jubilee Zambia

  6. Yes sir, Mr. hichilema sir!
Rice and mango plants – yeah!
I look forward to buying mango from Kalabo – Right here in the US of A!
    Make it happen sir!!

    This is the bomb diggity!

    Carry on sir.

  7. All that Zambia has lacked for many years is an entrepreneurial approach to managing the country. The are so many approaches that can be engaged to lift the Zambian people from poverty, but the problem has been poor and corrupt leadership.

  8. If we had two candidates..
    1. Hakainde
    2. Nawakwi
Nawakwi would win by 70 percent. Nawakwi. Is not popular than Edgar, who has won the 20th election?

  9. Where is Kalabo? Do we have enough skills to think of food processing plants? Is it govt investment or private? Just thinking!

  10. Sweet Rice and Mango Recipe

    Original recipe makes 4 servings

    Ingredientss:

1 1/2 cups uncooked short-grain Kalabo white rice
    2 cups water
3/4 cup white sugar, or to taste

1 (10 ounce) can cream of coconut (optional)

(*coconut will shortly available from Kalabo*)

    • @jessie wa mu town and here I make reference to you on your reply over the request from another blogger on LT showing the Lundazi PF campaign pictures..as we both NOW KNOWthe pictures which they just showed on another thread speak for themselves and you can deny it as you always do, ITS CLEAR PF HAS THE NUMBERS and how do you think realistically PF will lose with those numbers?? I just pray you will have the decency which you have often seen to be lacking to accept defeat come Jan 23/4.

  11. Only an id10t will dought this and talk from the sphincter muscle.

This is the truth HH will deliver, he has been very succeful in agriculture farming.

flight HH about to land into statehouse 2015

  12. Good thinking HH. The demand for affordable naturally grown (organic) foods outstrips supply in developed Countries. I am reliably informed organic mangoes are ideal sources of vitamin A, C, E, calcium, and calories.

For example I buy, once in a while, dried sliced mangoes from our local supermarket because I cannot afford frequent buying as I would like to, and yet a lot of mangoes go to waste in Zambia.

Hats off HH. This is the kind of thinking Zambia needs.

    • Demand for organic foods far outstrips the supply in western countries.

To us it’s just mango, To them it’s gluten free organic fruit – which fetches a lot more money. They have the money and are willing to pay for it.

So why in God’s good name would anyone not want this?

  13. @4.1 Wanzelu, thank you for your clarification of HH’s short, medium and long term plans and for helping uneducated minions to understand yhe issues. Problem is that the reports do not make that differentiation at all, he comes across as promising to do all in one and half years. And you assume that we all listen to the radio during working hours of course??
However, that is not all. Please clarify, by promising projects beyond 2016 elections, does HH envisage a situation where he will be elected again in 2016? Or does he intend to change the constitution to give himself a 5 year term if he is elected on 20-1-15? I still think that HH has gone overboard with his promises, he must have learnt a lot from Sata to admire him so much that he has no qualms telling lies like Sata.

  14. We get mango juice in shoprite from SA and Europe get theirs from Asia. This chap is an economist , he knows he need to finish projects started by PF coz we still gonna pay back the loan regardless

  15. WILL THE 2 PROJECTS BE FUNDED BY THE GOVERNMENT?

REMEBER HH ADVISED THE GOVERNMENT OF CHILUBA TO DISINVEST FROM PARASTATAL COMPANIES, AS IN HIS OPINION PARASTATAL COMPANIES WERE INEFFICIENT.

THE SAME HH IS TELLING THE PEOPLE OF KALABO THAT ONCE ELECTED PRESIDENT, HE WILL SET UP A RICE AND A MANGO PROCESSING PLANTS.WILL THE 2 BE PARASTATAL COMPANIES OR WHAT? BE MINDFUL HH WILL SET UP THE 2 PLANTS USING GOVERNMENT MONEY AND THERE AFTER PRIVATISE AND SALE THEM TO HIMSELF. HE HAS DONE IT BEFORE AND HE CAN DO IT AGAIN.
I FOR ONE CANNOT TRUST HH AS HE WAS SUSPENDED FROM UNZA FOR EXAM CHEATING.

  16. This sounds feasible to me. First the factories. Then the roads to be constructed from the proceeds. Sounds nice. HH some of us understand you well and good.

    • Which school did you go to?? Even basic economics outline that you need infrastructure like roads before setting up industries. How are going to transport materials to build the same mango factory?

  17. All these will be done in 1 year 8 months HH. You are so so desperate that you are spinning a web which you will be caught in. Be realistic all the promises you have made can not be done in this short period and if only if you happen to win 2015, Zambians will remind you of all the promises you have made when we go back to vote in 2016 which is not far. You are worse than PF and their 90 days.
