The Grand Coalition on the people driven Constitution has launched a campaign dubbed the “No Constitution No Vote” meant to de campaign Presidential candidates who have not committed themselves to delivering the new constitution when elected into office.

And the Coalition says claims by PF candidate Edger Lungu’s aid that the Grand Coalition is UPND are unfounded and should be dismissed with the contempt they deserve.

Speaking at a media briefing Coalition Chairperson Fr. Leonard Chiti said the impression created by Mr. Lungu’s camp is false and an exhibition of dishonesty as the coalition is a consortium of many stakeholders including opposition political parties something he noted can be proven with a simple investigation by those claiming otherwise.

“It would help for members of Honourable Lungu’s entourage to establish the true fact before going before the Media to misrepresent the public on the nature of the Grand Coalition.” He said.

Fr. Chiti called on the Lungu camp to establish facts before issuing statements to the media so as to avoid spreading falsehoods on the nature of the Grand Coalition.

Meanwhile the Coalition says it has instructed structures across the country to start de-campaigning all presidential candidates who have refused to sign the social contracts pledging to enact the new constitution once voted into office.

Fr. Chiti explained that the move was necessitated by the refusal by some candidates including PF candidate Edger Lungu who has arrogantly refused to do so despite efforts by the coalition to persuade him to do so.

He further said the Coalition has exercised maximum patience and is left with no choice but de-campaign candidates who have not signed the social contracts.

“We encourage these candidates to get in touch with us so that we can facilitate the signing process,

  1. Have Bembas been so displaced that now they are advocating nonsense through NGOs? hahahahahaha. All how those family forests are going to vanish come January 21st.

    • These so called diasporian bloggers who used to cry for the new consitituton are now decampaigning HH. Most of these people should be supporting UPND. HH has signed a contractual agreement to usher in the new constitution but Lungu hasn’t. HH can be held to account in 2016 if he doesn’t fulfil the constitution promise within a year. It doesn’t take rocket science whom I would be voting for – to spell it out as some people might not understand what I mean – Vote for HH. Vote for Lungu and you may as well kiss goodbye to the constitution. Sata came to London and told us you can’t be Anglican and and a catholic at the same. EL has no vision but following Sata’s vision. You will never see a new constitution if PF win or you might see one which has been watered down just to save face.

    • Akainde thought suing Bishop Chomba will cleanse him of his satanic cult, it has actually backfired big time on him.

Bishop Chomba has actually augmented his position by giving more details on Akainde and his satanic involvement.

The best Akainde would have done is ignore chomba… But Akainde is pompus, venegeful, lacks humility and meekness.

Bishop Chomba has maintained his position and Akainde is now a conered rat.

We say NO to a SATANIC CULT presidency in our Christian nation

Vote PF…. Vote Edgar C. Lungu on January 20, 2015

    • Yakosa mwati ba PF balepusuka… they are being tossed left-right like as if they were Sata.
release the damn “people’s constitutions” or NO VOTE!!!!

  2. how are they(pf) sure that they are going to enact the constitution when the have refused to sign the social contracts pledging to enact the new constitution once voted into office.come on Zambians time to woke this is another ‘Don’t kubeba saga’ 20th January vote for PF at your own risk.

  3. If you vote PF, then no constitution. Chapwa. PF Had promised one in 90 days. After winning, they insulted anyone who asked for a constitution.

FOR CONSTITUTION; DONT VOTE PF. PF can’t be trusted by empirical evidence.

    PF are liars……

  4. A good constitution, although essential, is fundamentally useless if the laws that flow from it cannot be enforced. The process begins through which it is sculptured. By virtue of being a law (supreme law), it should a purview of the legislators and not the commissions appointed by the executive.

This is one of the major systemic flaws that MUST be rectified immediately for the constitution to regain and retain its legitimacy.

  5. what happens if they decampaign lungu and he wins elections? Muvi and Mwape kumwenda you can destroy lungu and PF mwandi. Remember Chanda chimba and ZNBC tried what muvi is doing and failed. So muvi and grand look at both sides of your coins

  6. If the best leader shud be judged by the constituition then HH is not the best candidate becoz he has failed to respect the party constituition. if he can ignore his party constituion how is he going to respect nation constituition? He can be another wamuyayaya

  7. The NGO is mad, how do you trust a party based on campaign promises. Any candidate will promise the same things. Anyway this NGO is just looking for cash.

  8. Give HH all the votes from SP, WP and NWP these votes will not take him any where as votes from NP,LP, CB, LSKP will put lungu where HH will be. The killer prvince for HH is Eastern province as HH votes from Central Province will be lower than what lungu will get from muchinga and Eastern. So no need to find lungu is our next president

  9. You are not the Government.

We have representatives of the people to exert this level of pressure on the Government in office.

Your role is advisory, negotiating with Government. You lose your weight when you try to play power politics with Government.
You dare Government, you have lost.

  10. That document is a petition to our many problems. We in UK are stuck, we can’t give away out birthright coz of failed PF. De campaign em coz need dual citizenship ASAP.

    • I had a meeting with Hon. Lungu, he is for Dual Citizenship provided it is given to Zambians born in Zambia and of Zambian parents. Also he is against granting of dual citizenship to citizens of certain Asian and African rogue countries (like Somalia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria). He has already drafted a clause to allow dual citizenship to citizens of certain countries to start with and Minister will have the authority to add new countries as time goes by. To start with Hon. Lungu has listed down, among other, USA, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Canada, South Africa and a few other European countries.
Does it make sense to a Patriotic Zambian, or he wants to go laissez faire route?

  11. A very hopeless proposition – what guarantee is there that he who signs the “social contract” will honor it after winning? This is just grand standing.

  12. PF ADVISOR you are rejected from northern, eastern and no vote from central. One of your MPs was rejected from Nakonde were you there? Right now I’m lusaka to see what is on the ground,it’s only your thugs from Chawama and Chibolya who make noise and harass people. what are you telling us. I have moved to most compounds to hear what Zambians want, you’ll be surprised!! we’re counting down, Lusaka is not your village but the whole Zambia.
