HH unveils the UPND’s roadmap for enacting new constitution

Headlines HH unveils the UPND's roadmap for enacting new constitution

Opposition UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema arrives to attend a court case at the magistrate's court complex in Lusaka
Opposition UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema

United Party for National Development (UPND) President Hakainde Hichilema has unveiled a six point proposed roadmap for the enactment of the new constitution before the 2016 general elections.

Mr Hichilema in a statement issued today says this is to demonstrate the UPND’s commitment to the promise made to the Zambian people to deliver a new constitution.

He says he will within seven days of taking office immediately appoint a Constitutional Delivery Team to oversee the validation of the proposed constitution.

Mr Hichilema explains that the Constitutional Delivery Team will work with the Referendum Commission which will be the Electoral Commission, which will be appointed immediately after taking office.

He says the Referendum Commission will work closely with the Central Statistical Office and the National Registration Office to compile a national sample of all eligible voters for inclusion on the voters register.

Mr Hichilema adds he will introduce for enactment by Parliament, a bill to protect the constitution making process.

He states that this shall be done during the Legislative Session of Parliament commencing early 2015.

The UPND leader says the process will culminate in the holding of a referendum sometime in 2016 before the General Elections, to be preceded by extensive sensitisation programs led by civil society both for the referendum and the new constitutional process.

Mr Hichilema says his Government will continue to work closely with civil society in all aspects of operationalizing the adopted constitution after Parliament pronounces its commencement date.

He says the UPND legal team has been working on a roadmap for the proposed constitution even as the party has been campaigning across the country.

Meanwhile, UPND President Hakainde Hichilema has reiterated the seven days ultimatum he gave the PF government last week for them to reduce fuel prices following the sharp fall of the crude oil on the world market.

Speaking when he addressed a mammoth rally and in an interview in Mazabuka, Hichilema said it was high time his party provided economic liberation to the Zambian people by first ordering the PF government to reduce fuel prices immediately.

“They are now remaining with very few days to the deadline I gave them to reduce the fuel prices. To start with, this fuel reduction I am ordering them to give the Zambian people has nothing to do with any improved economic activity or fundamentals that have happened. This fuel reduction is purely a new year gift to the Zambian people due to sharp reductions on the price of crude oil on the international market. Zambians deserve to benefit so that we can start stimulating the economy. But of course as UPND, there will be further reductions based on robust economic measures we shall put in place both in short and long term,” he told the crowd.

Mr. Hichilema said the PF did not deserve any more time in office because of the damage they have caused to the economy and the people of Zambia.

“Schools have opened but the PF government have not paid you farmers up to now. The rain season is almost over but the PF have not paid you for your toil. How can one expect you to buy inputs for this season? Remember when you vote for Hakainde and UPND you are voting for cheaper farming inputs, cheaper mealie meal, early payment for you farmers, lifting of the illegal wage freeze for workers, voting for a new constitution and better economic management that will free the country from excessive borrowing as is the case under the PF regime,” he said.

At the same rally, ADD President Charles Milupi passionately appealed to Zambians and UPND supporters across the country to turnout in large numbers on 20th January and liberate the country by voting for Mr. Hikainde of the UPND.

He also called on people to jealously guard their voters cards and be vigilant against any form of manipulation by the desperate PF government.

He reminded people that even if they were bribed, they should think of the long term consequences if they voted based on a small bribe when their children are not in schools and are not eating adequately due to cost of living.

Lubasenshi Independent MP Patrick Mucheleka told the crowd that Mr. Hichilema has been widely accepted across the country and there was no reason any Zambian from any part of the country should have any reservations in voting for him.

Mr. Hichilema and entourage are today expected to hold campaign meetings in Monze and surrounding areas.

  1. Zambia does not need a new constitution. if people cannot stand up to defend the current one, then why should you look for a new one. it is probably one of the easiest countries to rule, as a leader you can do whatever you want (even if it is against the constitution) and nobody stops you. at the end of the day the constitution ends up just being a piece of paper.

    • # umuntu,

It is not a new constitution that is being sought, but an upgrade of the current one. A better, more representative, less costly to the tax payer constitution.

Please spare us your galloping ignorance.

    • @Mulenga and Jelita, legally speaking, once you upgrade then it means you have amended which makes the document new. please spare us your lack of comprehension. Also note that your thought of having something less costly is a dangerous one-shortcuts can lead to trouble, cheap is expensive.

    • It looks like HH’s numbers on the rallies are dwindling Well compared to EL . I hope this is not a sign of the expected results.

EIther way I don’t back either of them.

However, numbers don’t lie do they?

      Thanks
      BB2014

    • @ Hmmmmm ….wht a PRESIDENTIAL STATEMENT? HH is a GIFT for Zambia. He is indeed A PROMISED JUBILEE PRESENT.

It reminds me of Chiluba time when we JUST BEGAN ON THE UPWARD WAY, his CABINET was full of LEARNED BOYS the likes of Eric Silwamba,Dr Preter Machungwa, Ben Mwiinga,Mwanawasa, Dr Mbikusita….etc.

Infact we were suppose to START AFRESH in 2011 BUT GOD ALLOWED my Papa(MHSRIP) to ‘TASTE PRESIDENCY’ because he really wanted to be “president of presidents” after being a Minister of Ministers.

      #FLIGHTHH2015 HAPPY JUBILEE ZAMBIA.

    • Umuntu,

Even a frog is capable of winning over the visionless Lungu. Just swallow your slumber dear and accept that PF failed & lied to deliver a people driven constitution in their illusions of 90 days!
HH & UPND have stupendously done a fantastic job of substantiating the visible spectrum for the legality of the constitution.
Edgar Lungu has miserably failed to sign the social contract with the Grand Coalition as assurance of PF committing to the delivery of the new constitution. The visionless is shivering & scared of his fears because he’s afraid to join other presidential candidates for a live Muvi~TV debate.
Say NO to copy & paste Lungu the visionless.
      Viva HH.
8 days left before PF & Lungu are forever kicked out!
      Skeleton Key
      ~206~
      HH is the Best.

    • # Patriot and umuntu,
You seem to be the same !mbecile so listen carefully.
If your wife (assuming anyone can survive within a few feet of your ignorance) wears a brand new red g-string, she is still the same old wife of yours, kapish??! Only this time around is sexier.

Same old constutution, few changes here and there. Happier people.

As for cost accounting, please do not even dream of patronizing me. The simple fact that the office of the vice president is currently only a “chola boy” and not a running mate has cost us dearly. If PF had adopted a “new” constitution, they would have run the full 5 year term in the office of the president. But they, being f00ls like you, opted the more expensive “lets have another presidential bye election” route. Never never never again.

    • HH is aware that he stands no chance for Tuesday election no wonder the desperation from UPND camp……..may i won all UPND cadres that should they misbehave after Wednesday and Thursday, we are prepared to deal with you severely even at the extent of wiping all UPND leadership. And please we are serious with these things and if you want ignore it at your own foolishness

    • Zambia needs a better constitution and only serious people and leaders see this and commit themselves to delivering it. PF has failed on that score. PF wawa!

    • SEEMS HE FORGOT TO MENTION HOW MUCH HE HAS BUDGETED FOR THIS “ROADMAP”.. OR IS IT STILL IN THE IMAGINATION STAGE?

    • NEWS HAS JUST COME IN CHECK MWEBANTU THAT HH STOLE THIS ROADMAP BY PAYING SOMEONE AT THE MINISTRY OF JUSTICE TO LEAK IT TO HIM & HE COMES OUT AS IF IT IS HIS ROADMAP- THIS IS REALLY DESPERATION. EH

    • can you imagine people were calling for a roadmap from PF but now they are saying HH stole their roadmap. PF are really jokers. who can believe such blatant lies? only the gullible and people who really believe they mean well. i respect everyone’s choice but surely they have to come out clean on this one. PF were voted on a 90 days campaign promise but winter kabimba and his boss did whatever animal constitutions require. at least EL tried to show some push for the constitution – on that one i will give benefit of doubt. however, as a colective sum, PF are a sham whose governance record is laughable. they have done something on roads (although it was clearly biased following number of voters – i mean how come north western province with the least number of voters didnt get any road?)

  2. a few days remaining before you score a double brace in loosing presidential elections. already you have a hat-trick

    • Hahahahaha nicely put…Hakalusa Hanso Mason Gentleman has a hat-trick already in losing I call that consistency…lol

      Viva EL Viva PF

  3. Come Jan 21, there shall be the following :

    1.President Elect-HH.
    2.Former Minister of Justice & Defence/ Presidential Attempt-EL
    3.Former PF diehard cadres

    etc etc….

    • @Insp 3
      THIS IS THE BEST STATEMENT EVER FROM HH & I QUOTE;

      This fuel reduction
      is purely ……due to SHARP
      reductions on the price of
      crude oil on the international
      market. Zambians deserve to
benefit so that we can start
      stimulating the economy. But
of course as UPND, there will
      be further reductions based on
      ROBUST economic measures we
shall put in place both in short
and long term,” he told the
      crowd.

      #FLIGHTHH2015 HAPPY JUBILEE ZAMBIA.

  4. Ku Luapula kwena ifwe niba bwato, come rain or sunshine. Besides HH knows that he cannot beat anyone in Luapula, just like no one can beat him in Southern province. It is tit for tat bane.

    • Those ends are gone! This is a time for change & new era, where HH with all normal & peace loving people will stand together with UPND as a uniting leadership despite ones tribe. PF is a divested party of endless inconsistencies and confusion based on tribalism.
Remain in effect of denial, come rain, sunshine, dear HH is winning & PF charlatan cadres will scamper around like starved cockroaches.
Even the animals are able to smell the blossom & a breeze of change from vibrant man, Hakainde Hichilema for president.
George Chellah has packed his bags & what are you waiting for? 8 days left, the PF canoe is sinking into oblivion with their visionless monitor Edgar “Without~Vision” Lungu.

  5. He just wants your vote! This Guy’s party spent 5years with mmd formulating a consititution that was going to bar Michael Sata from standing! I don’t trust him

    • And HH has my vote.

I am punishing Sata/Lungu’s PF for lying that they would give me constitution in 90 days.

Cheat me once, shame on you. Cheat me twice, shame on me.

PF, I am punishing you for NOT fulfilliing your 90 day constitition promise. When I demanded for it, you told me to get an animal driven consitution. You will see on 20 Jan 2015, I and family will get up by 03:00 to que and VOTE AGAINST PF.

Also all my workers have a mandatory day off to VOTE AGAINST PF. They told me that you deceived them that you will lower prices but removed subsidies increasing cost of living. Anyway that is between them and you in that ballot box.

As for me, my heart, mind and soul is made up: I am not even thinking of anything but VOTING against these PF liars and corrupt…

    • Who trusts him brother? Not me and my family. Our vote is for EL. More he yaps, more he looks silly. Lies, lies and more lies. Desperation at its highest.

  6. Enactment in parliament with 27 mps??? You need 105 mps to do that. Joke of the year, this is one reason we cant vote for this dreamer who might spend if elected the next 18months soliciting for support from pf mps to get anything going in parliament. We need to be serious and realistic when dealing with national issue and HH has demostrated that he is just another misguided leader.

  7. That is what a president address needs to inform the nation.
Gone are days of face book by remote control address to the nation.

  8. How is he going to raise funds for Referendum and 2016 general elections. these two items will need almost the same amount of cash? Consider the time flame, Remember you need to campaign.

    • @soft kunakilila. What did UK and America promise about the constitution? They promised to fund the constitution building processes.

    • Yes you can’t wait to drown yourself in sorrow because HH will lose the election. You should go to lake kariba or the Zambezi river and throw yourself into the lake or the river when HH loses.

  9. Dnt get everything HH says cz hz pre occupation is going to state house no wonder this man is promising anything that comes to his mind,Lets all rally behind ECL for stability, continuity and development. No sane person cn vote for HH.

    • It is not his mind but Mwenye’s brain that is working on ideas. Dipak is a master blaster. To win UPND shall have a promise for everybody, free education by private schools, schools will be given grant equivalent to school fees they will decide every year, government will create a unit to buy desks, toilet paper, cobra, school buses, petrol and send the buses for maintenance. Government will pay for them. When one dies, government will buy coffin, charcoal, provide transport and food at the funeral home. Quality beef will be served at funeral homes for all visitors. Nobody will go without food. Zambia will be heaven on earth. We can do it, we will do it. Vote for UPND for its promises.

  10. From the intel coming out; Edgar C. Lungu will be the 6th president of Zambia. By the time Copperbelt and Eastern Province votes are counted, HH and Canicius Banda will be on radio declaring foul- play.

  11. People are so blind and can’t even get the better side of HH statement. They are just focused on opposing everything. Stop being so laid back

    • If a tribalist talks, one knows what is he trying to achieve. Nobody gives him a damn. He is just yapping. He cannot do anything with his 27 MPs +8 appointed MPs. He wants to manipulate people to get into statehouse. One night wonder!

  12. I am loving what I have just read. Of all the promises made on the campaign trail by all political candidates, this perhaps is the most substantive evidence of what could be. A people driven constitution is a priority for me at this stage of our country’s history.

  13. Good roadmap i like it but the question is are you winning mbwana, i don’t see you winning boss maybe you should try to step down after this election and give chance to others, now you have started promising anything and everything just like Sata promised and i am sure you have learnt from the best just promise and you will win but sorry Sata used that tricky already Zambians now know that the don’t live in a promise land use new tricks, immediately you promise Zambians only remember 90 DAYS, Lungu has a chance because Zambians can see something Pf has done.

  14. @ Lord 11.

Never my friend. HH is not worried of anything. He will scoop more votes in Northern,Luapula and Copperbelt.

    Edgar is going nowhere.

    #FLIGHTHH2015 HAPPY JUBILEE ZAMBIA.

  15. Don’t they all say the same thing!

If HH/UPND really wanted a new constitution they would have banded together with Kunda/MMD and passed it. But what happened?

IT IS THE SAME OLD HOT AIR CAMPAIGN ECHO CHAMBER!!!!

  16. ….it is good to promise the electorates what you intend to do once in the highest office of the land….nevertheless, care and honest must be the key…I’m particularly concerned on wage freeze reversal….this painful decision of imposing a wage freeze must have been made under ‘no other choice’ circumstances because it is tied with govt coffers…. Chikwanda and group have the insight knowledge…does HH have the same overview….??…probably not…
…the new constitution road map looks marvellous on paper, its like someone watching football and suggesting that the striker should have done that and that to score….
…anyway, HH knows that once in office nothing constitutionally can be done to him just as nothing could be done to MCS despite numerous unfulled promises

  17. It’s clear Zambia will have the first Tonga president this year, who will turn around the nation’s fortunes and shame the punks that have done zero after 50 years in office. It’s just both insane and stup!d to be surrounded by wealth, metals, human resources, water, fertile soil, central location and still make nothing out of it while nearby desert nations enjoy economic prosperity. HH represents the opportunity we have been waiting for to lift ourselves out of the unwarranted self-inflicted poverty caused by one charlatan after another charlatan for 50 years! Don’t give PF another chance to continue ruining our rich country.

  18. He is wasting our time.He can’t win.Vote PF chapwa non tribal party.UPND a tribal party period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. This is a lie. People read this statement in context.
HH says “new constitution before the 2016 general elections” and further says “within seven days of taking office immediately appoint a Constitutional Delivery Team”

THESE ARE ALL LIES! WHAT THIS SATANIST IS NOT SAYING IS THE ACTUAL DATE OR MONTH THE CONSTITUTION WILL BE ENACTED.

Moreover, people would like to clearly understand the supreme law under which they will be governed and 2016 is election year.

Please wake up Zambians, its the Indians, the likes of Dipak Patel, and Mathani who are telling this masonist that Zambians forget easily and only like to hear what they like.

We have said it again and again on this blog, this HH has not specifically articulated the most important part of the equation: THE HOW…

  20. HH misses the point on why Zambia cannot reduce fuel prices immediately. The govt makes advance purchases of fuel, a trend that was beneficial to Zambia when world fuel prices were rising unending.

An immediate reduction in fuel prices would mean the govt making a loss hence hitting the tax payer even more. Prices of fuel will go down when the next purchase is done.

  21. hh is an economist and he is very aware what happens when you buy goods at higher price and sell them at a lower price; loss.Dr. Guy Scot has already about the increase and we know but only after the old stock is exhausted. why should he want the government to make losses because of him. every well meaning Zambian understands that simple mathematics. please Ba hh retract your older because it has no logic in as far as economics is concerned.

  22. This is HH’s greatest demonstration for the love of this country. This move shows beyond any doubts that he believes that the starting point to sorting out our current social, political, economic, and democratic challenges is to have a good constitution, and he is absolutely correct.

You need to have a vision like HH to prioritisie the Constitution and the roadmap. This man is indeed visionary and he will do so to all his promises. HH has goals to pursue and specifics on how to develop this country. He knows that the constitution is number – prioritisation at its best!

When you have such a president you know that he has a national agenda to follow-through and account for in terms of national development results.

It is high time that we had a president who acts in favour…

    • of Zambia’s best interests by allowing people to have their constitution.

HH is dynamic and pragmatic and this explains why he is a first class achiever.

  23. @mushota which numbers are dwindling,Please check the pictures.Others are now just using ,’he had a mammoth rally’ but we can not see the acclaimed crowd.

  24. HEY GENTS,DONT FORGET ON 22ND JAN 2015, WELCOME THE SIXTH PRESIDENT EL. GOD BLESS ZAMBIA….PEOPLE THIS IS THE TRUTH SO STOP FIGHTING AND JUST WAIT AS EL WILL BE HANDED THE INSTRUMENT OF POWER ON THIS DATE. HH GET READY FOR PETITION AFTER U LOSE BCOS U WILL CRY.

  25. This year’s election is spiritual for it is
between a Christian and a Muslim.

Choose whom you love and worship between

    Jesus Christ and Prophet Muhammad.

    Choose between Holy and Evil

    Choose between Clean and Dirty

    Choose between…

  26. THE POST BAG: ILLEGAL CHURCHES

    EDITOR,
THE DECISION BY THE REGISTRAR OF SOCIETIES TO INSPECT CHURCHES AND POSSIBLY CLOSE THOSE OPERATING ILLEGALLY IS MOST WELCOME. SOME OF THESE SO-CALLED CHURCHES ARE SIMPLY TARNISHING THE IMAGE OF CHRISTIANITY, SO THE SOONER THEY ARE CLOSED, THE BETTER.
HOWEVER, I SEEK AN EXPLANATION ON THE EXISTENCE OF TEMPLES OR LODGES OPERATED BY THE SOME SECRET SOCIETIES. THESE ORGANISATIONS ARE BELIEVED, AT LEAST BY MOST ZAMBIANS, TO BE CULTS WHICH PRACTICES SATANISM AND WORSHIP THE DEVIL. THE PUZZLE IS THAT THE GOVERNMENT IS SILENT ABOUT THEM AND WOULD SEEM TO HAVE ACCEPTED AS NORMAL THEIR EXISTENCE IN A COUNTRY DECLARED AS A CHRISTIAN NATION.
THESE LODGES ARE OUT OF BOUNDS TO MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC, INCLUDING THE POLICE AND OTHER GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS. WHAT…

    • @Ntimbwi moomba

Allow me to share something with you from the Bible. It says there that the whole world is under the control of Satan the Devil. He controls govts worldwide and Jesus knew about this truth, that’s why he didn’t dispute when the devil offered him the world presidency if only he could worship him. The fact that Kafupi declared Zambia a christian nation doesn’t make it one. Zambia is just as Satanic as the rest of the nations on this planet. Kafupi himself was anything but a Christian. A Christian would never steal, kill and commit adultery. The dead thug Sata was such a true child of the devil that all his actions perfectly reflected all the evil attributes of the devil and not Christian. So exorcise yourself of the notion that Zambia is a christian nation, it isn’t.

  27. Zambia has stagnated for far too long. It’s our way of thinking, even when electing a new president that is behind it all.

    • A healthy Sata in office for 5 years would have been a far much better bargain than thieving RB for 3 years. It could have been that way, had we not allowed thieving RB to steal the vote from Michael Sata in 2008.

    • 2015 stands as a SECOND CHANCE – a rare happenstance in life! Are we going to be able to redeem ourselves at the ballot box this time around?

It’s been barely 7 years since; and two shoddy presidencies. The die cast, are we going to do any better this time around?

    • For the majority of us, Zambians, politics, like sports, is a form of entertainment. We seek to be entertained by the players we fancy. And that – entertainment – is all we are interested in and ultimately want to derive from it. Consequently, we, like sports fans, become diehard blind followers of whoever it is has become our hero. Thus stupefied, we are inept at analyzing issues objectively.

  28. There’ s no roadmap in what HH has said. It’s common knowledge that to change part 3 of the constitution of Zambia, you need a referendum. To hold a referendum you need to sample the citizenry of Zambia. To do so you ghave to work with Central Statistics. After that to conduct the referendum itself the Electoral Commission has to be transformed into a referendum commission. Unlike General elections and parliamentary elections a referendum requires that both civil society and government mount sensitization or awareness campaigns. Theres nothing new about his statements. He is indeed so dull. Zambians please reject this guy and his group they do know that. His issuance ultimatum is a typical of new “Emperor Bokassa” of Zambia.

  29. Bamumbwe give us your road map before you argue!! It’s the waste foolishness ever if you argue on this long awaited constitution!! please let your Lungu give us his constitution road map? Bamubwe MWe!!

  30. What an inspiring speech! I and my family are geared to give him our vote and this will be done on the copperbelt. And the number is big.

  31. Great road map. However instead of having a referendum and general election in the same year, why not enact the constitution as provisional constitution by an act of parliament and then have the referendum and general election at the same time? Lets not turn our citizens into professional voters.

  32. GOODBYE HH. Its been a good long fight. NEVER AGAIN ON THE BALLOT.
The best you can do is to endorse Lungu on 20th January. Your vote for Lungu is the best endorsement.

    ECL PRESIDENT FOR MOTHER ZAMBIA.

  33. In Zambians we treat politics like sports – a form of entertainment. We seek to be entertained by the players we fancy. And that – entertainment – is all we are interested in and ultimately want to derive from it. Consequently, we, like sports fans, become diehard blind followers of whoever it is has become our hero. Thus stupefied, we are inept at analyzing issues objectively.

    • More civilized societies look at politics more like a bread and butter affair – a form of survival. “Who” is what matter most to us. To them “What” is a more poignant issue. We tend to accept or reject a candidate on the basis of who he is or where he comes from. In more civilized societies, they look at what the candidate is going to do for them.

    • @Mei, well spoken. Those are my thoughts too. Our obsession with ‘who said’ rather than ’what was said’ is the main reason our leaders morph into dictators or simply lose direction after a some years in office. e.g. KK and Chiluba.

Question is where did this obsession come from?
Could it be that we are doing a copy-and-paste from our traditional culture in the same lines we are copying kneeling before a politician or Head of State as if he is a traditional Chief?
Or could it simply be a case of job seekers amplifying ‘who’ they know to pull strings and get political jobs?

As the saying goes:- the devil is in the detail. Whatever it is, it is a bad cancer as we are failing to effectively critique important issues because of this ‘who said it’ obsession.

  34. In typical upnd style, they have hijacked other parties plans on the constitution. Sly and dishonest party full of questionable characters haunted by ethnicity, questionable faith, husband snatchers, drug barons and weary eyed job seekers, yuss! NiPabwatoo fye! ECL all the way to 2021!

  35. Chitimukulu Recognition ……Ati ME TOO
Reinstatement of Nurses ……Ati ME TOO
Reduction of Mealie meal & Fuel …..Ati ME TOO
Pay Farmers on time …….Ati ME TOO
Constitution road map ….Ati ME TOO It was only a secret
Mr ME TOO cant manage this country

  36. The government and the president do not own own gas stations, nor do they own transportation facilities that deliver petrol and diesel to various parts of Zambia. So, how can he reduce the prices of gasoline? Or does he expect the Energy Regulation Board to yield their authority and reduce prices at the instigation of the “president”?

And how exactly is he going to reduce the cost of living? Through abracadabra perhaps?

  37. Lungu maybe popular but it’s clear now that HH is the 1 with a better message, and going by the Bible; from the abundance of your heart the mouth speaks. May God deliver us from stupidity, we can’t even tell who is likely to be a better President between the 2. African countries and Zambia in particular lag behind not because of bad leadership but because of mediocrity among it’s people.

  38. As the presidential by-election is getting 6 closer and closer, the excitement among different segments of the population is growing.

Even prostitutes are not being left out, they have promised Zambian men two days of free sex if PF candidate Edgar Lungu wins on January 20th.

Speaking to ICU press last night, sex workers have called on Zambians to vote for Lungu if they want the country to move forward, and as a bonus, they have offered 2 days of sex for free.

This is not the first time such a pledge has been made toward Zambian men by sex workers. In 2012,sex workers from Lusaka and many towns offered free sex after the Chipolopolo won the AFCON in Gabon-as Zambian men scrambled for shares.

  39. It is sad for people to say the fuel cannot be increased immediately because when fuel is increased at the international market the E.R.B increases the fuel immediately. why then should it take more than a month. it is a shame.
