This reminds me of how vigilant we were as PF in 2011. Then there was a lot of fear that RB was going to rig the elections so we chased trucks, bought new pens to go and vote and we put in a parallel voter system – the rest is history.

Firstly, I would like to commend HH on the campaign he has run. But that said, Edgar Lungu is LIKELY to become Zambia’s 6th President on January 20th, 2015. When you analyze the 2010 voter register, you will have to agree that HH to begin with, had a lot of work to do. He will do well in N. Western and Western Provinces, but the problem is that the registered voters in those provinces amount to 700,000, still dwarfed by the 825,000 registered votes in Copperbelt. Then the biggest factor is that Southern and Eastern Provinces will cancel out because they both have 600,000 registered voters and both leading candidates hail from their. Now you have neutral grounds; Northern, Luapula, Central, Lusaka Provinces. Tell me now, who do you think will emerge victorious in those?

And where is the truck the UPND trackers lost? I think ECZ has a responsibility of ensuring a clean, free, fair and transparent election.
As far as I know reactive public relations and ECZ public relations raises suspicion and speculation. Secondly, they don’t have to be ballots or pre-marked in RSA. They could be marked at a farm or warehouse anywhere in Lusaka or on any day before polling.

ECZ were using a vehicle that was being tracked and was inspected already. ECZ have deadlines. Let us not be ignorant, UPND found batteries and tables, that is shameful. This election will be over by lunch time. Edgar Lungu will win by a wide margin if statistic is anything to go by.

This reminds me of how vigilant we were as PF in 2011. Then there was a lot of fear that RB was going to rig the elections so we chased trucks, bought new pens to go and vote and we put in a parallel voter system – the rest is history.

Firstly, I would like to commend HH on the campaign he has run. But that said, Edgar Lungu is LIKELY to become Zambia’s 6th President on January 20th, 2015. When you analyze the 2010 voter register, you will have to agree that HH to begin with, had a lot of work to do. He will do well in N. Western and Western Provinces, but the problem is that the registered voters in those provinces amount to 700,000, still dwarfed by the 825,000 registered votes in Copperbelt. Then the biggest factor is that Southern and Eastern Provinces will cancel out because they both have 600,000 registered voters and both leading candidates hail from their. Now you have neutral grounds; Northern, Luapula, Central, Lusaka Provinces. Tell me now, who do you think will emerge victorious in those?

I don’t think this was primarily about “UPND’s Pre-Marked Ballot Paper Hoax in Pictures” but about ECZ proactively communicating and declaring anything and everything, as they did the ballots themselves. And where is the truck the UPND trackers lost? I think ECZ has a responsibility of ensuring a clean, free, fair and transparent election.
As far as I know reactive public relations and ECZ public relations raises suspicion and speculation. Secondly, they don’t have to be ballots or pre-marked in RSA. They could be marked at a farm or warehouse anywhere in Lusaka or on any day before polling.

I m in Zambia now, and from my observation there are only two strong contenders in EL and HH. Between the two, EL MAY become the next president as his party has a better political plan for this election. They have serious real numbers.

I am not going to vote because I am out of the country. But I find the action of UPND very barbaric and childish! I agree with the comment that charge the people who brought this rumour! There is no way that there should go unpunished. Who told them these lies? A UPND custom official? Charge this fool and ensure that we do not have such alarmists in our country! We cannot afford to have people taking the peace for granted. It shows that there is no honesty and transparency amongst the hungry politicians who constantly suspect that there is something fishy. Campaign peacefully and convince the electorates then you will win. Otherwise you are showing yourselves what you are made of- foolishness!
