Ex-Power Dynamos defender Zifa Nkhoma believes his old club has the potential to excel in the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup.
Power are returning to the continental stage after a two-year hiatus from Africa.
In an interview in Kitwe, Nkhoma noted that coach Tenant Chilumba has assembled a good squad that he said would go “far” in the Confederation Cup.
“Power have got good players like Kennedy Mudenda and Alex Ng’onga just to mention a few,” he said.
Nkhoma added:”They are a very good side and I think they will go far in continental.”
The Kitwe based club will face Sudan’s Al Khartoum in the preliminary round of the Confederation Cup with the away first leg tie set for the night of 14th February.
Power are currently in the Kenyan capital Nairobi for a ten-day training camp.
And I still miss the awesome years, from baby born with teeth up to the late 90s.
A good start to a long, difficult journey.
