WEEK SCORECARD: Mukuka shines for Celtic

Share

Zambia midfielder Mukuka Mulenga had a memorable Sunday when he faced-off with his compatriot and striker Bornwell Mwape.

Mukuka played the full game in seventh placed Bloemfontein Celtic’s 3-0 home win over bottom placed Amazulu.

The midfielder was on hand for the first goal when he hit the far post after a dazzling run on the right wing before Lerato Lamola finished off on the rebound in the 32nd minute.

Mukuka was again denied his first PSL goal by the post in the 66th minute but by that time Celtic were already comfortably leading 3-0.

Meanwhile, Mwape struck a lone figure upfront for ten-man Amazulu who spent most of the game in defensive mode with just one win all season on nine points with twelve matches left to try and save their PSL survival.

  1. The worst reporting ever since ECL won the Erections. How do you give hope for bloggers to read as if Mukuka SCORED??? Since when did Mayuka score a goal in SOUTHAMTON When he is nursing a GROIN injury from EQG 2015, DUE to his fault , poor timing , instead of diving the chap stretches his short legs

  2. Surely ba L/T why give praise to the boy who did not score? Our professional players are not worth writing about. I will never for give Mukuka for that sit he missed against C/V.
