The best team lost- Beston Chambeshi

Share

Coach Beston Chambeshi believes the best team lost when Nkana succumbed to a 1-0 home loss at the hands of Red Arrows in the two sides opening FAZ Super League match in Wusakile on Sunday.

Nkana created more chances than Arrows but in the end prowess in converting proved vital with striker Francis Kombe scoring the lone goal at Nkana Stadium to silence his old club.

“It is a bad start but I am happy with the way the boys have played. In football we say some times the best team loses,” Chambeshi said.

“We were in a hurry to score and every player wanted to school,” he said.

Chambeshi, however, promised that Nkana will start scoring as the league unfolds.

“We have to be patient goals will come for sure. I have strikers who can get the goals but we need to be patient,” he said.

Nkana are facing Konkola Blades in their next league match away in Chilibombwe.

  2. Beston you have been pulling Nkana down ever since you took over. The sooner you get fired the better. Nkana supporter

  3. Aba be stop your grudges with players who are capable of performing, be honest and say if some players pay you for game time. you came with players from konkola blades that costed us the league last season. learn to inculcate team spirit into the team and stop your useless grudges otherwise you have 4 more games to justify your stay at Nkana. Want do you want to achieve is it leading us into division one like you did not so long ago

    Nkana Fan

  4. FIRE THIS USELESS CHAMBESHI. HE IS NO COACH………WACHABE CHABE. HE HAS BROUGHT NKANA DOWN!!! TAKE HIM BACK TO CONGO.

  5. Quick Silver aka amabe, you clearly know that at Kalampa our ideals are very simple: To win each and every game and we don’t entertain excuses at all costs. Therefore, stick to that doctrine else we show you the door. You were a very good player in your time and we only hoped you could be an equal coach. Your days are numbered. Thanks
