Kansanshi Dynamos maintain lead in Division 1 North

Kansanshi Dynamos opened a two point lead at the pinnacle of the FAZ Division One North table after beating promoted Zesco Solwezi 1-0 on Sunday.

Forward Brian Chisanga registered the solitary goal in the first half of this Week Three tie played at Solwezi Stadium.

Kansanshi, who maintained their perfect start to the season,have nine points from three matches.

In Ndola,Indeni moved into second spot on the table following a 1-0 win over Chindwin Sentries at Indeni Sports Complex.

The win over Chindwin pushed Bruce Mwape’s Indeni to seven points as at Week Three.

Elsewhere, Chambishi thumped their old rivals Kitwe United 2-1 in Kalulushi with Roan United posting a 2-1 win over Kalulushi Modern Stars at Kafubu Stadium in Luanshya.

Konkola Mine Police remained rooted rock bottom after recording their third straight loss when Gomes Wanderers stunned them 1-0 in Ndola.

  1. …I watched the Warriors Kalomo game, it was turf. One thing for sure is that Warriors is coming back to the Premier League.

  2. I really appreciated effort by sponsors of these smaller clubs in making sure that they full fill their fixtures. However FAZ must do something in as far as playing fields are concerned,like this Kalomo Jetters ground it is more of a maize field than a football pitch. We can not talk about infrastructure as there are no changing rooms or proper toilets. FAZ should do more in this area unlike just looking votes

    • the comparison of the Kalomo Jetters Football pitch to a maize field is not only exaggerated, there is some element of insult. The local authority is working round the clock to make sure the wall fence and dressing rooms are down.

  3. pls council secretery. do something on mabvu steadiam. The turff is really bad and not fit for division 1 soccar. Job well done for the wallfence.
