The Movement for Multi-Party Democracy –MMD has urge all Zambians to choose reconciliation, love for one another and uphold the spirit of Unity.
In his Easter message MMD President Reverend Doctor Nevers Mumba said Easter carries within itself the very essence of the gospel of Christ.
Dr Mumba said the message of Easter is reconciliation saying humans are reconciled to God and to each other.
Dr Mumba noted national reconciliation and unity will only be possible if Zambians love beyond tribe and beyond political affiliation.
“We should love one another because we are one family, one people and one nation. The spirit of Easter is the best platform for our National Healing and Reconciliation, “he emphasised.
The former tele Evangelist pointed out that Zambia has in the past three years experienced one of the most divisive seasons since independence saying tribalism has become visible again, while intra-party conflicts have threatened the very peace enjoyed over the past 50 years.
He said Zambia therefore Zambia needs healing.
“We must exorcise the demons of hatred and division that have dominated our nation. There is no better time for such healing as now,” he said.
A better man the Lungu for me. Not in the class of Kabimba though.

Is he signaling that himself Nevers & RB are in the “one family” he’s talking about, if not PF?
Conceded defeated in the last presidential elections, of which Nawakwi outstandingly did great seems to have dislocated MMD in many parts.
Spills of RB vs. Nevers via PF jointly oiled, the Muhabi’s, Doras, the list is endless inconsistencies in all recycled political party refugees in order of fattening own bellies.
From Pulpit to ZRP, NCC, MMD & abit in PF. What is MMD doing with PF to get the economy & kwacha from melting?
MMD should justly & officially accept that with all that confusion of RB belonging to 2 different political parties is not good governance. Has PF stopped paying RB benefits since he’s a lime of politics?

He is a job seeker and a joker at the same time. It is sad that MMD is taking the UNIP route.
For now politics and rhetoric are irrelevant. Dealing with the Zambian quandary has to be primary. Dr. Mumba make a personal and genuine effort to call on ECL and help him. You have a gift of being well-spoken you can make a big difference in this case. Stand up and be counted. Talk to Mutembo, talk to Mmembe, talk to RB, Scott etc.
You may despise the messenger for your personal reasons but the message is very accurate. Politics have subdivided us (tribally) so much that we view each other as a barrier to our political supremacy.
Noone can believe Nevers until he reconciles with Musokotwane, Mutati, Muhabi and Pande. How do you talk about Zambia reconciling when you cannot reconcile your party yourself, eeh Mr. Nevers? You don’t convince anyone. Talk the talk, my brother!
