Ronald ‘Sate-Sate’ Kampamba and Mukuka Mulenga have joined the Zambia Under-23 camp in Lusaka.

Sate-Sate of Egyptian club Wadi Degla and Mukuka from South African PSL side Bloemfontein Celtic both landed on Tuesday.

The duo are two of four high-profile call-ups for Saturday’s crucial 2015 All-Africa Games final round, last leg qualifier to be played in Lusaka.

Others are the Israel-based duo of striker Evans Kangwa and defender Emmanuel Mbola of Hapoel Ra’anana.

Meanwhile, Nigeria have only managed to secure the release of one foreign-based player for trip to Lusaka this week.

So far only defender Sadiq Atanda Ololade of Apolonia Fier in Albania has joined the team camp.

Zambia and Nigeria are goalless from the first leg played on March 22 in Abuja.

Winner this weekend will qualify to the All-Africa Games to be hosted by Congo-Brazzaville from September 4-19.

  1. Bushe Kanshi when are we getting closer to the truth? I just hope this won’t catch up on the boys. Mbola still under 23? That’s why By the time our players get to the purported 30 yrs, they look older than their age. Anyway that’s our African football for us.

    • When Mbola went to Russia he was so you, like 15-16 yrs old, we even blamed his father for letting such a baby to go pro. Infact he went with William Njovu for trials, and William was taking care of that Mbola. He must be 20 – 21 yrs now.
