KK out of hospital

First Republican President Dr Kenneth Kaunda was yesterday discharged from Lusaka Trust Hospital where he was admitted on Monday April 20, 2015, for a medical check-up.

His office confirmed in a statement that the former President was released after his doctors were satisfied with results from tests conducted over the last few days.

Dr Kaunda, who turns 91 years old on Tuesday, will continue to rest at home before resuming his normal duties.

Senior Executive Officer- Protocol in the Office of the First President Cheswa Silwizya said Dr Kaunda is deeply humbled y the outpouring of love from President Edgar Chagwa Lungu and the people of Zambia.

‘The Office of the First President and Dr Kaunda’s family has expressed great appreciation for the overwhelming support and prayers while he was hospitalized.’ Mrs Silwizya’s said.

    • Mmmh! Guys? You have not stopped lying to the people? With all due respect nobody goes for a medical checkup and is then sent home after a week to rest. A check up is just to see if things are fine and not when someone is feeling unwell. You lied about the late president until he came (or was brought) back dead from the checkup. Be truthful or say nothing at all (out of respect for the patient). The chaps before you lied about the other late president that he was “jogging in London”. Yaba!

You will never hear a UNIP product being evacuated abroad for specialist treatment unless he had once joined MMD.they either die in UTH or discharged from UTH.not tuma GMOs like Edga,FTJ,LPM,SATA,Nsanda etc by the way how is GMO kazimu sata-the son of former presido who was involved in an accident last year?

  3. I cannot wish this man or any man death. But in the event he dies, I will be a liar to say I will shed a tear. This ex dictator gets no love from me. None.
