Nkana snatched a last minute equaliser to maintain their unbeaten home run in Kitwe against Zanaco over the last three seasons.
The two sides finished 1-1 at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.
Zanaco took the lead against the run of play in the 36th minute through Boyd Musonda sending Nkana fans into a muted trance after dominating play.
Nkana’s lifesaver came in the 90th minute when substitute Shadreck Musonda was tripped in the box by Dominic Yobe.
Musonda then stepped up to convert the resultant spot kick to deny Zanaco their first away win at Nkana since 2012.
The result sees Zanaco drop from first to second place.
